1st visit. The customer service was okay. For the most part the food was good. I had a slight issue with one of my slices and wasn't able to eat it because it was too greasy for me. Maybe I didn't eat it fast enough and the grease settled from sitting I don't know. The slice I did get to eat was good though. It's a good spot if you are looking for a quick bite and reasonable prices.

What a great experience we had! It was a 13 mile journey and well worth it. We were told that the wait would be 20 mins but by the time my husband got back to the car, we were called in. We’re a family of 4. One of our children uses a uses a mobility scooter and it was very easy for him to navigate in the restaurant. We ordered garlic knots (6), 4 small salads, 2 lemonades, 2 waters and an 18 inch pizza. Half of the pizza was the 3 brothers and the other was a white pie with added spinach. Our total was around $60 with tip and tax. Great service,food and atmosphere! We will definitely be back!

We have ordered from this place as pick up maybe 6 times so far. On one order, they forgot the meatballs in the lasagna. On the latest order, when I got home, my son opened up his food. He did not notice that from one side, the lid was shattered. So, as he started to eat his pasta, he bit into two pieces of plastic from the lid!!!! The pieces were inside!!! They actually did not care about the broken plastic lid and sent away the food that way!Who knows if the other missing parts of the lid were in the rest of the food. He had to throw away his $17.00 dinner. 😔. My husband insisted to go back and tell them, but I was not in the mood to argue. I will just never order take out again. That is sad because we were happy knowing that they had " decent tasting food". However, for someone to have broken the lid ( I'm sure it was obvious when they did it) and to have not cared about the possibility of broken plastic in the food told me that they didn't care about safety. Very negligent from their part!! Perhaps they can change their take out containers to styrofoam type or something else...these plastic containers are so brittle and cheap!!!

Worth A Second Visit We ordered several items to pick up. The pick up process was a little unorganized but not too difficult to navigate through. Meatballs, salad and two pizzas. All satisfactory, with the deep dish pizza tasting good but extremely chewy, making it hard to bite through. Toppings were sausage and artichoke hearts. Sausage portion was good, very few art hearts . We’ll give them another shot, and order the thin crust to see the difference.

I found my new favorite Italian restaurant! My husband and I arrived a little after 5 pm. We were seated immediately. Our server, Valerie, arrived moments after and got our drink and starter order. She brought our drinks and took our meal orders. Our starter came out within 5 minutes, my salad about 5 minutes after that, and our meals about 10 minutes after that. Staff is extremely attentive, speed of service was superb, and the food was both delicious and plentiful. Well done to both FOH and BOH!! We will definitely be back!

I did not have any specific expectations when visiting but I was thoroughly impressed. The entire interior was nice and new. The food was just as impressive. Everything tasted great from apps to dessert. If you’re in the area you should check them out. It seems you can pick from anything there and be pleased.

Great suggestion from a local patron, excellent pizza, drinks, and pasta 😋 sweet chili fried shrimp, a definite banger for appetizer! I had the Cajun shrimp Alfredo with penne pasta instead of fettuccine, absolutely delicious.

Ask me how my night is? Thank you for asking. I'm picking Olives off my pizza. I know what you are thinking, but why didn't you say no olives? That's the funny part, I did. You are probably also asking if they put olives on it, why didn't you just send it back? Because this was to go. I know I should have checked. I mean, this place honestly screws up our order at least a third of the time. You are probably asking why I go back. And the truth is, there is no other place to go. And the servers are really nice. Except for the bald guy. He Smurfs up every order he touches. This guy somehow messed up an order of chicken parmesan. There is a button for it, but he somehow messed it up. He couldn't press a button correctly. Kind of embarrassing. Now I wonder if it's the kids in the back? I used to work in a pizza place and I'm sure I made my share of mistakes. But the sheer amount of Alfed Upped food seems almost intentional. So maybe it's the bartenders that can't enter orders correctly? I really don't know. Maybe they don't like me? I mean I tip 22-25%, I'm polite, I laugh at their stories. I listen to them bad mouthing the owner. What's not to love? I wish this place didn't constantly Munson my food. Because it taste good. But it will always be wrong. And I guess it's my fault for expecting competency. I mean, hold the olives is pretty complex. But yeah, a solid 3 Stars for the general attempt.

First time visitor. Thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The spaghetti with meatballs was enough for 2 meals as was my wife's Stromboli. Daughter had Fettuccine Alfredo. We'll be back. Service was excellent. Atmosphere was great. Can't wait to try the pizza. I'd recommend.

We've been here many times since they took over the location couple years ago. It's our favorite pizza place now and not too far from home! Love that a giant pie is only 23 bux. We get a large half-n-half supreme and meats mix with the Alfredo sauce. Then pastas to go along with it. All the pastas are good. And they come with a big salad that's a great mix as well. Son loves the garlic knots and that butter sauce that goes with those is rich deliciousness! Make sure you sign up for their frequent flier points as you'll surely be back!! I know we will!

Pizza was cold and missing cheese on 70% of it middle was dry and burned underneath. Calzone had 4 extra disgusting ingredients then we ordered! Alfredo pasta had almost no sauce. Worst experience yet!!

My family of 4 arrived around 2 p.m.We sat on the patio. Our server was ok, the food was ok as well. We had family who recommended this spot so before our 2 hour drive home we stopped in. We all ate off of the lunch specials menu and the bill was less than $40.00. I have a feeling if we would have ordered a fresh pizza it would have been way better, but it wasn’t bad by no means .

Really yummy pizza slices, salads, meatballs, Cannoli and more. If I had to nitpick, the garlic knots were oily and obviously reheated (over microwaved) bc they were too tough to cut or chew. TVs everywhere. Will be fun to go watch a game there. 4 stars👌

We used to order pizza regularly from here, but starting around 6 months ago, we got a pizza where the toppings barely made it halfway from the center. This was unusual, so we considered it a fluke, so we continued. Without fail, every pizza since has had the same issue, so we’ve ordered less and less frequently. Last night we decided to give it one last chance, since it had been a while. We decided that if this order had the same issue, it would be our last. It did, and it was. Something has changed there, and not for the better. You can see what I’m talking about in the pictures I took of our final order.

Empire pizza was really good. We went here with a group. We all got a variety of items. Everything was worth the prices. I would say it’s going to be a little more then other retail pizza. However it is a huge large and it was very good. The staff was friendly and understanding with a large group. They have outdoor seating.

Ive been inside several times and ordered pickup several times. The food is delicious. The salads are awesome. They put so many veggies. Salad dressings are large servings. Love that place! Hamburges are enormous

Last week we visited Empire Pizza for lunch with our special education classes while we were on our community outing. From my first conversation with the host, Deanna, to being served by Nicole, and the manager, Bethany, reaching out to me personally to gain more insight on our students to pair us up with the perfect server, I can't say enough good things about them! Both of our classes had such a wonderful experience. Nicole was incredible, kind, and patient with our students as they ordered their food. It was very welcoming to be embraced with such a wonderful server and host. Not only was the food brought out in a timely manner, but the portions were a great size for the kids meal. Nicole didn't stop moving once, from getting them more dipping sauces to refilling their cups. Overall, 5/5 stars for us and we can't wait to come back and eat with you guys!

First and last time eating here. I ordered a large pie with half mushrooms and pineapples. I arrived maybe 5 minutes before getting the alert that my pizza was ready. The pizza was lukewarm at best. Absolutely no cheese. Very little mushrooms and pineapples. I took a picture of the disappointment. $23.00 for the worst tasting pizza I've ever had. I will definitely not be coming back to this place.

What an incredible experience! The food, atmosphere, and SERVICE is always exceptional. We had ladies night for our neighborhood there last night and with 50+ people in our group, our server took care of all our food & beverage requests like a pro. We can't wait to come back for another wonderful evening!

Best bar food in Mint Hill. Just compare the crowd of people there to any other nearby restaurant. There's more than one reason we go to Empire instead of established spots literally in the same parking lot. Food quality/value, portion sizes, service levels are all top notch. These people run a tight ship.

Our 1st visit of many more to come, I do believe. We had the garlic knots. They were great & the marinara to dip in was perfect (not full of huge tomatoe chunks). We also got a large pizza, half was "Classic White" and the other half was the "Four Cheese". Both were very good. Looking forward to trying some of the other items. (Forgot to take pics until we got full. We were hungry & eager to try everything. 🤣)

Empire Pizza was great! I had the lunch special...wings and a slice. We also had the Sweet Chili Shrimp. We'll definitely get that again! They also have great games to play as well. You can't miss here. Lexi was our server and she was outstanding!

A pizza lover and a true, hard-core wings lover I was thrilled to find this place tonight! Oh my!!! We moved to Stallings last year and Matthews and Mint Hill are always surprising us with so many wonderful places❤️. Why 5 stars? Here we go: customer service: 8/5 stars. We were acknowledged the moment we walked in. Out server was Amazing!! Food- we ordered the Chicken bruschetta as recommended by our waiter and they have a special that includes pizza and wings. Get it!!! Is an upgrade if you order a specialty pizza but it is worth every single penny! The wings were absolutely delicious! Well cooked, tasted fresh, they were hot!!! The pizza has a very unique flavor that makes you feel like eating more and more. The combination of ingredients explode in synchrony in your mouth and is just pure joy. As we are driving back home my fiancee has said "that was a great pizza, that was a great meal" like 7 times in the last 10 mins ❤️. And he is not a picky eater but he is a harsh judge when it comes to eating out. His beer was a Potter, I had a Budlight, He has been talking about the beer nonstop. The place was clean, the ambiance was good. Check out their specials and if you are like me, I close my kitchen from Friday to Sunday, this is a super nice place to go!! You won't regret it!

I’ve had Empire several times and never had a bad experience until today. Ordered a pizza through DoorDash and there was so much cheese that the dough underneath was undercooked. Toppings completely fell off when trying to pick up a slice. Called Empire to let them know and they explained that since it was through a third party that they were unable to help. DoorDash would only refund $10 of the $24 pizza for quality issues. I understand that they can’t process a refund for DoorDash but they should have at least offered to remake the pizza.

Went here for pizza today...first visit. The pizza - a supreme - was excellent! Great New York style pizza which is hard to find around Charlotte. Nice thin tender crust and a good sauce base...good amount of toppings and nice olive oil glaze. We loved it and will make this restaurant our new Go-To pizza place!
