A peaceful beach, You can enjoy open air and sea view here, however do not be dependent on any kind of food, snacks here, you will hardly get anything, next to nothing so whenever you visit carry your bitings along… Also a request, please throw the leftover’s, garbage and any kind of waste in dustbins, we had recently made a beach clean activity and cleared more than 20 tons of plastic and other garbage from the beach surface… So please help yourself to protect the beauty of nature

One of the cleanest beaches of Mumbai, this one is a must visit. Stretched over a huge area, it is secluded, doesn’t attract too much crowd and is very peaceful all throughout the day, you could just come here in the evening, at sunset, and would witness one of the best colours in the sky, and enjoy a very serene time. You can reach here by Rickshaw.... By Sharing Rickshaw it might cost 60-70 rs per person... There are few really good resorts and restaurants nearby...

The place is not as seen in pics nowadays...in a recent visit to the beach, I saw that dried fish all over the road and front of the church...The strong smell of dry fish is all over makes it tough to spend time there also some drunk local peoples are irritating other visitors...local police should intervene to keep the place secure and to encourage tourism ...however, the beach is clean and the nice view is the main attraction of this place...locals should take efforts to make this place even better which in long term benefits them.

Moderate beach. No loo available near the beach. Take care of vehicles specially 4 wheelers, have to take atmost care once drive through incline slope on entering beach, End of the road there is 1/2 feet gap. Beach water not so clean, please takecare of children's while playing in sea water. Roads towards beach are congested be vigilant while driving. No wheelchair accessibility. Best time travelling to beach is from morning to 5.00 pm avoid night travelling. If there is breakdown of vehicle, it would be tough to find proper help to fix it or need to tow.

The Velankanni beach situated in Uttan, Mira Bhayandar is a very beautiful and calm place to visit. You can reach this beach easily if you have a vehicle. Though if youre a first timer it would be a little long journey through Marve via manori , first reach marve and then ferry to manori side that will cost you around 30rs per head and 10 rs for vehicle extra......after reaching on the other side head towards manori dargah.....after reaching keep straight on the road you can also find the directions to velankanni beach on google maps ..though I would advise you to download offline maps as most network operators fail here. And if you forget you will most probably have to ask the local people for directions. At the entrance you are greeted with a big board above stating Velankanni Beach. After reaching We found a very beautiful and calm beach with less visitors .... .on the right side the beach is very rocky where you can sit, relax and have a nice tym..while on the left it has a sandy beach, where you could walk and relax on the the beach...swimming is not advised... Carry foods,snacks and water bottles for best experience. 😉 because we did not found a single vendor or hawker here on the beach most probably due to Covid I think. It is a wonderful place with scenic views best for photography. Overall a nice and pleasant place to relax your mood away from the urban chaos.

We used to pay visit to juhu to enjoy sea side however due to poor quality of beach in juhu we started visit gorai beach and its worth it, the approach road is amazing, and gorai beach have few shops, hawkers, horse riding, but no watersports.
