nice place, excellent food quality for the price, but terrible service, trust me, mostly because I go almost every Sunday to the breakfast buffet. The thing is that you can't find the waitresses, the tables are small and full of dirty dishes, in my case I ordered more milk (when you can find the waitress) and she get upset and ask me “why do you drink so much milk?” which is disrespectful and they brought us the receipt before we asked, implying that we have to leave. If is possible install a hot milk dispenser, folks and sugar visible to all the customers and that can lighten the work of the waitress and clients can enjoy the self-serving buffet without any confrontation. thank you.

This is authentic Cuban food similar to every “La Carreta” restaurant. But this location shines brightly in customer service, it’s awesome! We ordered chicken noodle soup, delicious. We also ordered “ropa vieja” (shredded beef) with white rice and red beans. The meat was excellent, rice was cooked properly, but the beans were a bit drier than I’d like in a Cuban style beans. (These were more like a purée than a heavy soup as they are supposed to be) I took out a star for it. Overall, a great place with affordable price. Bottom line: Recommended!

I loovvvvvve steak! The Churrasco I ordered was so rich and delicious! They use high quality meat! My moro rice was the perfect complement. That and the beer and a very friendly server,

Went out with my wife and father-in-law. We were seated right away and the waitress arived promply to take our drink order. 🍸 When she returned she had our drinks and hot Cuban bread. Solanyi was very nice and described to my father-in-law about a special he inquired about. We placed our order and it arrived quickly. Everything was delicious 😋 and large portions. Restaurant was clean and well kept. 👌 We will definitely return in the future. :)

Service was amazing the food had such great taste and the coffee was the best ever! This will be a memory of a lifetime.

La Carreta definitely is one of my favorite restaurants.. you never get wrong in any location... Yesterday was my first time in their Miramar Restaurant... Super delicious cuban food.... I really highly recommend them....

Is it just me or is the quality of food and service decreasing in casual dining places, especially with the rise of inflation?? I ordered food from here earlier this week and it was amazing. Nothing to complain about, rather actually hype up because it motivated me to pick it up again for dinner on a Friday. They forgot la jupiña, the portions were small for the salmon plate and pollo a la plancha, el ceviche tasted like soap (cilantro and ingredients probably not fresh), and el mojito that they gave me to dip las mariquitas was basically all liquid. I feel like they put no effort into my order, which is unfortunate. Grew up with this restaurant in my area and I usually enjoy it!

I've been to just about all the Carreta restaurants, this is pretty good, nice atmosphere ample, clean well decorated. Good was great, calamari didn't look good but they were amazing and the yuca frita also. I ordered fish with shrimp, very good, my friend arroz con puerco also delicious, serve didn't know menu well but provided good service and options. Prices are good, el go back

Best cuban restaurant so far in miami i been here 2 times and nothing bad to say service great food also good recomendation on the appettizer tostones con camarones less sauce i think can be better sometime less is more less sauce let fell more the crunchi texture of the tostones and shrimps the res just great

I can see why the reviews aren't the best because of the service that is provided - it's an extremely busy restaurant and I can see why! The food was so good and was just what I was looking for in a Cuban spot in the Miami area. I was recommended this place by multiple people and I would definitely go back! We started with grapefruit margaritas - acquired taste but good nonetheless. For our appetizer, we ordered the Yuca fries - they were cooked to perfection. I wasn't a fan of the cilantro aioli sauce that it was served with. For our main course, we ordered The Classic Cuban sampler - which came with a little bit of everything. Come hungry because the portion sizes are massive! My only complaint is that the food was lukewarm, but it was very tasty.

Excellent cuban food. Big menu. Not a lot of vegetarian options but I found some. Black bean soup was excellent. Tostones were not bad. Everyone else loved what they had. The Cuban sandwiches are huge. The "side" of fries was enough for 4. Super friendly staff. Cuban espresso was forty seven stars. Ceviche was good enough to slurp up with a spoon!

This place is very clean and the dining room have lots of space. The staff is outstanding and knowledgeable when it comes to gastronomy service. The food is fresh and well prepared. The attention has been superb so far. The atmosphere is good and for the most part “quiet” The only complaint I may have is the tab water. It appears I may be sensitive to the restaurant tab water. You may seat anywhere and you’ll get a good service by any of the waitresses. Needless to say, I will recommend this restaurant without any hesitation. Enjoy your meal

Delicious, it's La Carreta for chrissakes..it's a staple. Masa de Puerco was amazing, as were the Camarones Enchilado (man, that sauce!!) Food came quickly and was prepared perfectly. This was a comfort meal, to say the least. Cafe con Leche after dinner is a no-brainer...Save room for Arroz con Leche if you can, some of the best anywhere! First time. We had dinner. Delicious food in a casual environment. The complimentary Cuban garlic bread is the beginning of a delicious experience. The red sangria was great. We had roast chicken, salmon and the best was the beef churrasco — amazing. The caramel flan did not last long either. Highly recommend.

It use to be very good, but the service was bad, the food wasn't too good, and the shake was the worst ever had.

I had the vaca frita with moros and maduros which is one of my favorite plates. It was exceptional here, and the portion was huge. We also ordered a couple of orders of croquettes and they were phenomenal. The best I have had in the area. Service here is great and they get you in and out which is perfect for a quick but filling lunch. Have been several times and this visit won't be my last!

I was driving from Miami to Sarasota and need some Coffee! I did a quick search and noticed this place had a walk up window. I got my delicious Cuban Coffee and one Ham and one Chicken croquette. It was all just what I was looking for, easy to get to and tasty!

We had a great time!!! The service was fast and professional, the food was wonderful, plenty of tables available and the same for parking spaces. Price is competitive. Definitely recommended.

It was my first breakfast. Food was good. Waitress are efficient . But one forget smile at home. No matters cause other was excellent. I just reduce tips. Decorations sound like quality. I think back for next breakfast. Specifically if i lunch with the wonderful women to share breakfast with me.

We had dinner with family and as usual the food was good, specially one of our family favorites, the plantain soup, and we had a great time. Solanyi our waitress was very cordial and her service was awesome.
