We recently stayed here for 2 nights with 3 adults and 2 kids. We were able to get a suite with 2 bedrooms, a living area, and a kitchen. This made the trip much more enjoyable to be able to get the kids in bed and still have some seating room for the adults. Kids loved the pool, and the breakfast was tasty and different each morning. Overall a great stay!

Nice clean room, comfortable bed and clean showers. Little kitchen and good size fridge in the room make it more comfortable for few days stay. Need some upgrade on swimming pool. Overall good experience

We stayed for three nights at this location as we were in town for our daughter's move-in. The selection of this place was based on our nice experience at different locations over the years and a good rating for this location compared to other options. However, the room on the ground floor was in a very bad condition. The couches were stained and worn out, and the room had several crawling bugs, The queen beds were noisy and short in length as despite being 5 feet 8, my feet were hanging out of the bed. The breakfast quality is good and the staff is friendly and professional but there are some serious upgrades needed in the rooms. The hotel is close to the highway and there was continuous noise from the trailers during the entire night.

This past weekend, two friends and I stayed at staybridge. The staff were great however, for $330 a night, I was not expecting cobwebs above both beds, a dirty stove and questionable liquid marks on the headboard. My biggest concern, was that when we went outside to check if you could see in the windows of our room, it was confirmed that you could see directly into the room from the parking lot. This made us incredibly uncomfortable. There was only very thing see through curtains which covered the entire window and blue curtains that had shortened bars which didn’t allow the curtains to actually even come close to closing. The room we stayed in was 135 on the main floor. Please, ensure rooms are safe and comfortable for people.

I stayed here for couple of months and felt very comfortable and satisfied throughout the whole stay. Staff are always welcoming and helpful. Great people. Plenty of parking space, room is clean, kitchen is well equipped, and a good breakfast. Less than 5 minutes drive from the shopping center.

I snagged the last room available for the night. True to their word, it was right beside the elevator. Right. Beside. I thought I'd be up all night. I'm a VERY light sleeper. It was crazy quiet. The rooms are well laid out and I was never woken up. The rooms are spotlessly clean and have everything you need. The staff is lovely and helpful. I'll be back in a heartbeat, even if I'm only here for a night. Thank you for being awesome. :)

Excellent hotel with excellent facilities. Harry in the front desk is very professional and helpful from the minute we checked in to the last minute of our stay. Will definitely recommend .

"Our home away from home" To start off, fair warning, will be a long read. Our home sold sudden short closing, and our new one not nearly done. We needed to act fast, needed to find place that accommodate 4 adults 1 small pet and alot of space. Close to university (2kids attend here) I called the hotel on a Sunday and spoke to Theo, I asked if I can see some of the rooms cause I can't tell from the pics. A bright friendly smile welcomed me as I entered the foyer. Right away i felt comfortable. I told him who I was , and right away he had ready 2 cards to enter the rooms. We chose room 415, 1 master bedroom, king bed and private bathroom, living room, kitchenette then another bedroom 2 queen beds and their own bathroom too as a bonus, a separate huge storage space room, inside the space of the apartment. I can't say enough how spacious the suite is!!°° Back to Theo, has been above and beyond Outstanding customer care 👏 Anything I or my family has needed he's managed to provide us with. We've traveled all over the world and his promptness, attention to detail, great listening skills , kind hearted, ready to help in one's time of need, really really made this transition bit easier Thank you Theo for helping my family get thru this time in our lives, for the past 3weeks Kind regards A

My parents stayed here and had a wonderful time. The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly, mostly the Asian lady at reception who was very sweet. I will definitely book with them when next they go to Canada.

I always come here now after many visits to Guelph over the past 5 years. In this price range no one comes close to the quality of service, breakfast, coffee and large apartment like room accommodations. I simply love staying compared to other hotels in the area. It is also very close to our facility which is about 2 minutes away.

Loved my stay here. The hotel itself was away from the hustle and bustle and easy to get to. Made it easy to travel around and relac. The breakfast was good, but busy. And I loved that I could get coffee on my way out. Made my very busy work/pleasure trip a wonderful time. I look forward to staying again very soon.

We had a great experience here. We stayed during a weekend, and had absolutely no noise complaints. The rooms were HUGE, clean, and equip with everything you could think of (fridge, burners, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, utensils and cutlery, dishes, coffee machine). The room was clean, Dove products were provided, the bed was comfortable and the room was really bright. The breakfast had lots of options, friendly staff and was actually pretty tasty. Will be back!

Very nice suites are perfect for families and business travelers. Fully equipped kitchen, living room, and dining room. The bathrooms are also stylish and stocked up with body lotion, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. Suites are very clean and very comfortable beds. Very friendly staff. Definitely will come back.

Staybridge in Guelph was easy to find and had ample parking. Room was adequate for size, condition and cleanliness. Our room had a small kitchenette with a full sized fridge freezer. Two burners and a microwave for cooking, a drip coffee maker and a dishwasher with tea towel, dish soap and dishwasher detergent provided. We didn't use the kitchenette, but I'm also assuming that ample dishes/pots are provided as with other 'suite' style hotels. Heating was efficient and there were two windows which provided ample natural light. It's an open concept room, so I'm unsure if residual cooking smells might be a problem when sleeping. In the sitting area there was s small sofa with a couple of side tables, a desk with an office chair, but no dining table or chairs - you could use the desk if you're eating in the room, but there is only one seat, so your other option is to eat on the couch. There was a unit with a TV that you could move to watch from the bed or from the sofa. Reception staff were prompt and pleasant, however just a couple of points that could improve in my opinion. The sink is outside of the bathroom so there is a risk of poor hand hygiene if touching the bathroom door handles and lock. Anyone who has used the toilet has to touch the handle before they can wash their hands after using the room, so beware of what may have been on their hands when leaving that room. My other concern is that the bed was quiet uncomfortable. It seemed to be a pillow top mattress but there were layers of mattress protection that made the bed quite hard to sleep on. I usually have a great sleep in most hotels, but not this time. It is nice that breakfast is included as there didn't seem to be anywhere else close by that was convenient to eat. The small self serve area had a selection of premade cheese omelets, some very delicious sausages, boiled eggs, pancakes, fresh fruit, bread/baked goods cereal, juice and coffee/tea. They offered boxes for breakfast to go which was a nice touch. It was very busy on the morning we were there with lots of people leaving. The breakfast area is open to the lobby, so you may need to wear a coat when you're eating in colder weather as it was very chilly/breezy with the door being open so much. All in all this was a fairly pleasant experience.

The location is right off the Guelph highway 6. Guelph university is 10 to 15 minutes from the hotel. To eat 7 minutes from any food you desire. From Macdonald to The Keg. Service good but not next day in room service. Only when you leave or request, but front desk will help you if you need fresh sheets or towels. Has A nice size not too deep pool, and a good size workout center. Breakfast is continental and they have sufficient tables to seat and eat in the main lobby. They also have a private parry room or meeting upon request. Parking is plentiful. There is even a car wash there if you have time to was your vehicle.

Clean mid range hotel. Room was a suite with queen bed and small kitchen. Seemed clean but a bit used, one could tell the hotel was fairly old. Did have a small pool and fitness area. Fitness area was small and only one treadmill, which was used at peak times so had to wait or come back. Room was cleaned daily, which I really didn't want. But no "do not disturb"sign was in the room. The breakfast was better than most, homemade eggs, bacon or sausage, oatmeal, waffles, and more. Not bad hotel. Not great just okay.

Microwave in my suite isn't working. Needs service or replacement. Someone had unplugged it. In fairness I don't know if it was reported to the staff. Room cleaning is supposed to be on demand. The staff cleaned it anyways. Staff are very friendly and accommodating.

The hotel was very clean, but it is the staff that makes this hotel stand out. We were greeted by Tara at the front desk, she was so pleasant, informative and accommodating, It's been a long time since I have such good customer service!!! Would highly recommend

Really happy with everything this hotel had to offer. Their breakfasts were one of the best I've had. Pet friendly makes it even more a plus. When in Guelph, we'll be back!

Horrible experience at this so called hotel. A strange odor in the room as soon as you enter it. Such a dated building and interior design, yet very expensive for what it is and what they offer. The beds are very uncomfortable. The door handles and the couch are covered in old stains. At one of the busiest long weekends of the year (Canada Day), only one elevator works! and of course it is packed with people every time you enter it. The breakfast is ordinary. I would highly recommend for you to stay away from this place.

The location is good- by the main roads. It has ample parking. The place is also dog-friendly (with a price but that's expected). The front desk staff were awesome. The rooms were dirty though, unfortunately. Had to unplug and plug the TV (as instructed) to get the TV working again. The tub had a weird stain, and the bed sheets are soiled. With this, I'm not willing to go back.

For $300/night I would except better. Tvs are old, couch in our room was dirty, dishwasher was not put in properly and super noisy. If you have small kids, every single door creaks super loud so don’t expect them to get a great sleep if you’re up. Staff was friendly though. But I’d expect maybe $130 a night for this place. Not $300

I was recently in a house fire. There was extensive smoke damage to my home and belongings. I spent almost 6 weeks at staybridge and quickly came to appreciate their great service and accommodating spirit. The air conditioned suite was clean and quiet and came with a full kitchenette, the bed was comfortable. They are pet friendly and really just friendly all around. The complimentary breakfast was hearty and well-rounded, with something for everyone's tastes. The pool was warm and accessible until 11:00 p.m. Overall, I had a great experience at staybridge, and would easily recommend it to anyone

I try and always stay at IHG hotels but after my experience with this hotel I done with IHG. If you do stay here be prepared to wash all the dishes and clean the crumbs out of the cub boards. Front desk staff was rude both during check in when I called about pending charges on my card. Stairwells were filthy, littered with leaves and dead bugs. They said the don’t have housekeeping on weekends and judging by the state of the hallways and the room they don’t do much housekeeping during the week either. The Wifi was spotty at best and there were no sheets in the room for the pullout bed. There is a Marriott or Hilton across the street, I’d recommend going there.

Amazing rooms, a little overpriced considering location. Lived there for 2 months and the kitchen made it feel like home. The staff are tremendous!! Harvey the manager, is a whole other story. Started to change policies during my stay (only that location and only through him directly did they change), at one point he literally ripped my money and cards out of my hands and yelled "gimme that!" Rude enough and loud enough another customer complained before I got a chance. If he didn't work there it would be a 5 star hotel!!

Modern 5 story hotel in the south end of Guelph with easy access just off the main highway. I recently stayed for two nights and paid $8.90 for the first night using my hotels.com points and $169 for the second night. Expect to pay anywhere from $140 to $170 a night for a standard suite with a kitchen. My suite on the fifth floor was very clean and comfortable. Nice quiet location but close to all the amenities that the south end of Guelph offers.
