My absolute favour bar in the city. Live music all the time, they treat their employees well as far I can tell ( they have closed in the past to give a break to their staff) and great food and drinks. I absolutely love all the house infused vodkas they have. My eastern European blood is happy when I am here. It is a little pricey here but worth every penny (like I said they treat their employees well) and cover to see amazing music is always free (but they always make sure people pay for the amazing music with a tips hat) *Edit cover is now not always free, also the perogies are not great with their breading. I wish they did not add the breading

Beautiful restaurant with live music. The atmosphere here is unlike any other restaurant because the food is actually descent unlike other entertainment venue places where the food is actually inedible. The cevapi and goulash was fantastic. The pieorgi was good but slightly bland and cold. Their prices are fair and a good time is guaranteed!!

Great space for music. The two live bands have different vibes depending on if you were dining alfresco on the patio or inside by the bar. The DJ played some afrobeat which was a nice touch to the Nigerian ear. The drinks were good and a very tasty Shöfferhofer- Grapefruit Radler from Germany was had. Great vibe and an iconic place to visit while in Toronto

The food is absolutely fantastic! Great spot for live music, all the staff were friendly and had great suggestions on what to eat and drink. Loved it!

Amazing food, great atmosphere, and live music. We'll definitely be back. The only issue we had was that the pork shashlik was dry, but it still tasted great. Everything else was phenomenal as well.

Went out for the first time with friends since the reopening and DROM was a great place to do it! With the busyness of the opening weekend, getting into the venue with reservations and service was a bit slow, but it was also nice not to be rushed out of the restaurant. The tables were very small and it was a bit of a hassle fitting all our food and drinks on the bar with a group of 7, but the jazz music more than made up for it. While the atmosphere and amazing music made you feel like you were in a music venue, the food made you feel like you were at home (comfort, homey food). We ordered a variety of things including the Cevapi, Buckwheat and Mushroom Salad, and of course the Goulash. Enjoyed our experience here!

The menu, while promising a culinary journey through Eastern Europe, fell short of expectations. The dishes lacked the authenticity and flavors I've come to associate with this cuisine. Service was another aspect that could be improved. The staff seemed disinterested and somewhat inattentive. It took a long time to get our orders, and we had to flag down waitstaff multiple times to request basic items and inquire about our food. Additionally, the pricing seemed quite steep for the overall experience. I was left feeling that I had paid a premium for what ultimately felt like a rather ordinary dining and entertainment experience.

We stumbled upon here after randomly scouring downtown for a place to drink and eat. We were pleasantly surprised with how great the vibe was. Unfortunately the wait time was in the 30-45 minutes for us but there was live music and the outdoor patio was lovely. In terms of food, we had the pierogies, poutine and goulash as well as a Bosnian dish I forgot the name of. The food was extremely well done and tasted great. Our server was extremely kind and had an incredible memory for what we ordered. Our shining star was the drink menu as it had many eastern and northeastern European alcohols that we tried a select few of. Overall a wonderful spot if you don't mind waiting a bit.

Came by because I was in the area and heard live music coming from here. I love the atmosphere- it’s very welcoming and everybody is very kind. Great and unique performances too! Food is also not bad for somewhere with live music- and price point is pretty cheap!

Always a great time. Love their live music, the vibe, the food and the service. Great shareable plates. It can get very busy but I’ve never had to wait too long for a table. One of my favourite places in the city.

Overall good experience! It was fairly busy when we went, highly recommend making a reservation if you have a party of more than 5 people! My favourite part was that there was live music playing! The food was good and the servers were nice as well! We sat our on the patio and it was overall a fun time!

Very eclectic and cute space! Live music all week, and a food menu with Eastern European delights. I tried the Pelmeni, Siberian dumplings, and they were so good! Highly recommend! I want to come back for sure

Laid back place to get a drink, and have a snack while watching live music. Kind of a hipster vibe, jazz was on when I was there. There's a back patio as well. Recommended by a bartender at a different joint. Would definitely go back.

Hands down the absolute jewel of queen west. Great food, great music, great drinks, great staff. As someone of Montenegrin descent, it is SO COOL to have somewhere DOWNTOWN that highlights the culture of Eastern Europe (and more) Must haves: Trying out all the liquors from various places. They've got quince liquor. Theyve got stuff from Montenegro. Theyve got Slivovitz... Just try everything. FOOD: Its the only place I know that serves cevapi, so you gotta try that. Their pierogies are out of this world too. BUT. YOU MUST HAVE THE RASPOUTINE: GOULASH POUTINE. Music: Pick any day, any time, you cant go wrong. They have Bring Your Own Brass nights too. Incredible Honestly, im gonna go there right now. I just adore this place and cant stay away. (PRO TIP: ASK FOR THE INFUSED VODKAS)

A friend suggested I check this place for live music - was not disappointed! Visited on Tuesday evening, and enjoyed some fantastic Brazilian tunes. They also had a special chef for the night serving Armenian food. Friendly staff and their website has updated event listings.

This is probably the best live music bar and restaurant in town. Enjoy all kinds of music styles and performances over a beer and a snack. The atmosphere is excellent. Cozy and warm and welcoming. The crowd is great and the bands are usually great with a history and a story. Check out their website for their events. It could be a dance lesson or an Arabic jazz performance or a Persian solo artist performing to raise awareness. You won’t regret spending your evening in DROM (which means safe journey) and you’ll definitely be back!

The servers were very nice and welcoming. The atmosphere was cool with chill ambience and live jazz music and a lot of vintage Soviet decor. The food was abundant, authentic and so tasty - the Cevapi stole the show for me. I would definitely recommend to my friends and go again.

It was an average experience of food! For starters, why the portion should be too small like this? At least they could have put different portions with different prices. The quality was not that special just a regular meal. Besides, service quality was awful. The waitress brought me water and meal and disappeared for the rest of the night and when I asked for cheque, I waited for 15 mins and didn’t get one so I looked for her in that cramped place and successfully spotted her! I liked the live performance though. So in overall, it might not be a very lovely place I would say

I come here Tuesdays for swing dancing which is always great. Live bands are excellent and dancing with great people. The food is pretty good and they do offer plant based options plus have accommodated my substitution requests which is greatly appreciated.

The place is curious and the atmosphere is quite lively. The food compared to other Eastern Europe food places is quite good, I would even say very good. They play live music both on the terrace and inside. If you like a lively atmosphere and delicious pilmeni, this is the ideal place. The only thing you shouldn't try is bit kvass, that's the worst thing I've tasted in years.

We had a great night with our friends, the food tasted great and the service was good. Are you ready to dance?

Decent food and very chill, hipster vibes. However, to be fair, I unknowingly went on Tuesday, when their kitchen is closed. Therefore, only had access to their snack menu. Nevertheless, the food was good. They had live music going on, and they do ask for donations for the musicians. Vibes were alright, definitely very casual and hipster (with the plastic patio chairs lol)

There is so many things to say about Drom and not a single one negative! The vibes, the music, the culture, the food, the drinks…. EVERYTHING is so perfect about this place. Misha and the team work very hard to make you feel at home here no matter where you come from. I highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone and I will forever refer to this place as one of my homes🫶

Very nice tavern with the live music being the biggest highlight. It is a vibrant place with a lot of character. A friend and I went there on a Saturday evening. We got the to see 2 bands back to back. The Bands we saw where not exactly jazz band but it was jazzy. The food was good of Eastern European origin. The only bad experience we had was the bouncer who was very rude - maybe because the place was packed. We had no issue waiting for a table but he was not nice. The bouncer aside, this place is highly recommended.

A 10/10 for music lovers! They have a lot of polish and Russian dishes/drinks which were all amazing! The staff is lovely and the main attraction is the band and music. Love the vibe!

I love this place. Always find a good excuse to bring my friend here to "discover" 🤭. The tapas are great, they have a good selection of white wine. Live music is great and diverse altho they have a lot of jazz group. It can be a bit loud inside which is why I usually stay in the patio. Might benefit from a little more heat in winter tho 🥶 (the patio). In the summer they have groups that play outside and inside it's great. Really recommend it!

It was the first show for Pizza Bush which I was extremely grateful to have attended! They rocked and in such a unique way the 3 girls had me crying with laughter! The venue itself allows musicians to play for 1 hour and they pool tips at the end. Excellent idea however it's also very packed and was hard to get service which for them is a Cadillac problem ;-) The food was great but I didn't know exactly what I was ordering lol

Went for the live music (which was incredible, as it turns out) and stayed for the friendly, chill atmosphere. The staff were great. We'd definitely go back!

This is one of my favourite live music bars in the city. It really does encompass the spirit of Eastern Europe, as they say from Balcans to the Baltic to the Black Sea. But you can expect to hear a variety of very different music here. The environment is casual, but warm and friendly. The staff are great, attentive and personable. The food and drink selection is fabulous. Many uniquely eastern european dishes are well prepared and served.

bar restaurant with live music… wonderful musical diversity!! however, as far as the house menu is concerned, it leaves a lot to be desired! With high prices and food incompatible with the amount charged. Service was good, but management left something to be desired. I witnessed a waitress drop a tray of beer on a customer and the manager show up hours later, and the customer went home soaking wet. ( laminated raw garlic … bread … supermarket must !!! $18!!! Really !!!)
