Right on the river! I spent most of my time on the porch, enjoying the sound, sight, smell of the rushing river. A charming old house, full kitchen (shared), plenty of space. Rooms are big enough, bed was comfortable (i was in the grizzly room, river side!). I planned to stay for 4 days, and instead made it 10!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house is charming and colorful. The porch is very nice to sit on and watch the river. There is a beautiful bridge that you can see from the porch that is lit up at night. We stayed in the most inexpensive room and were impressed with how spacious it was. The staff were helpful and went out of their way to offer recommendations around Missoula. The B&B is within walking distance of downtown but is in a quiet area. Breakfast was very nice and presented beautifully. We were able to bring our dog for a fee. There was a fenced area out front for him to run around. We would definitely stay here again.

Absolute best place to stay in Missoula. Bitterroot Suite has TWO outdoor balconies, one overlooking the peaceful river and beautiful Mountains. You can walk to a grocery store or pub. Short drive to amazing hometown breweries and excellent restaurants. Top of the line appliances. Super kind and responsive owners. I truely dread leaving and am so grateful I found this historic gem.

What a special place! Great location, just outside the hustle and bustle of downtown. But definitely close enough to walk. The beautiful River just outside, with a great walking trail as well. The historic home is beautifully maintained, and we were greeted by RT. He was professional, warm, and you could tell he genuinely cared. The room was great, and RTs breakfast was on point. Will definitely be back!

We had a great experience at Goldsmith's. The place is well kept up, clean and comfortable. I loved being able to relax on the porch and look out over the river. If you're going to the Griz Stadium it's extra awesome to just go up the stairs and over the bridge. And you can step right off the porch onto the walking path along the river. Breakfast was a delicious French toast bake and a perfectly brewed cup of coffee. I definitely recommend a stay if you're looking for a b&b in Missoula.

Most charming historic (100+ year old building with a great story) and wonderful place for a few nights stay in the heart of Missoula across the Clark Fork river from the University area with its many walkable attractions and beautiful river walks. Ryan (RT) and his crew are great hosts, friendly and very knowledgeable about the area and cook up great breakfasts each morning!

absolutely wonderful experience! My husband and I stayed at the Goldsmith Bed and Breakfast for a night and we loved it. The rooms have a very quaint, homey feeling and is very clean! We had a private balcony in our room and the room was very spacious feeling. It is also centrally located to just about anything you could need during your stay. MOST IMPORTANTLY- the breakfast was to die for!! Every day they serve something different and it was delicious- we had an egg frittata with bacon, fresh (really fresh!) fruit, and roasted potatoes. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone I can and of we ever return to Montana, we will definitely be staying at Goldsmith's B&B!

Loved staying at Goldsmith's. The hosts we're very nice people and they made an amazing breakfast. It was a pleasure to stay in one of their rooms with old-timey decor and furniture. They had all the modern ammeneties, too. Beautiful views of the river and great location in regards to distance to downtown. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends.

This place has it all: in Missoula right on the Clark Fork with tubers floating by; comfy, old home but with modern amenities; hosts ready and willing to help in any way. I can't wait to go back!

Great hidden little Airbnb. We stayed here for State XC. Wonderful location right in the water and not a bad walk to downtown. The place was clean and simply decorated.

Had an wonderful stay at this beautifully restored historic home right on the river. We were able to walk Downtown for dinner and drinks in about 10 minutes through a nice neighborhood. The pedestrian bridge to U of M is just steps away. Room was very comfortable and hosts were easy to communicate with. Highly recommended!

Incredible location and wonderful accommodations! Loved having the washer/dryer in the unit, and the view out of the window was beautiful. Easy to walk places, and very responsive hosts. I'll definitely try to stay here again on my next visit to Missoula.

I stayed here for one night to go to a concert at the Kettlehouse Amphitheater. It was perfect! The instructions to get inside were easy, the place was super cute and clean (most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in—maybe memory foam?—with nice quality sheets), parking was easy, and the place was quiet. Location was also great. I took the shuttle from Top Hat to the Kettlehouse Amphitheater because I did not want to deal with parking, and I was able to walk from the bed and breakfast to Top Hat in about 15 minutes and didn’t have to deal with any parking or driving hassles. Would highly recommend.

I spent nearly a month here. It’s a lovely location right on the river. A short walk to several hiking trails and downtown. Courtney and Jordan are very hospitable hosts! A great place to stay in Missoula.
