This is my first visit to 4 Locos Argentine Steakhouse and I'm looking forward to come back there again. I have tried Sunday's special mixed grill offer. It was fabulous 👌 Meat was perfectly cooked to our liking, nice selection of vegetables and chips. We are big eaters and we were unable to finish it all (two people) we have also ordered some bread and extremely great tasting olives 🫒 (you must try the olives) cocktails were yummy and the service was absolutely outstanding. Definitely added restaurant to my favourites! Can't wait to try more meals on the menu!

Such a great place, been visiting a while and almost always get the steak, great atmosphere, all the starters are amazing and the staff are great too. No cons, just a guaranteed great night everytime!

We had gone for a family dinner to this restaurant with our 4 month old baby. We were given a table in a cozy corner which was very thoughtful of the waiter and it was perfect for us. The service was fantastic and the restaurant staff were friendly. Our food arrived quickly once we had placed the order. The food was very delicious and I would love to try the steaks the next time we visit. Overall a lovely experience! Would definitely recommend.

Great place to eat steak! Lovely atmosphere! Had a tomahawk steak was a bit under uncooked for a medium rare however it was nice. And a really good bit of meat! Bit expensive but all the steaks we had looked really nice! Will definitely return! If you like you’re meat medium rare I’d say go medium 👌

Excellent food and great, very friendly service. Not a bad wine list either. This huge platter is only £22/person on Sundays, and all expertly cooked. Sirloin steak, rump, chorizo, chicken skewers, authentic ribs, chips, salad, roast tomatoes, chimchurri, all incredibly cooked.

My family member went to this restaurant and now decided to order dinner and we ordered 2 Ribeye steak and asked for them to be well done. The food was ordered on Deliveroo on 09/12/2023 and when we received it my family member was very shocked of the quality of both Ribeye steak they were not well done it was bloody. I had a stomach upset. My family member reported to Deliveroo but did not offer a refund. I gave a low score because of the poor quality of the steak. I am currently on steroids and have to stay in but when I am well I will go and speak to the manager about the food and the meat upsetting my stomach. Photos enclosed.

Absolutely amazing steak!!! I'm an avid steak lover and I must say that this is one of the best I've ever had! I got the tomahawk which was about 900g and it came which 2 sides of my choice! The steak and truffle fries are a MUST TRY! The atmosphere was also amazing and it was serene! It cost around £80 which was a fair price as it fed 3 people.

Me and girlfriend decided to have a spontaneous dinner date out and we came across this gem in south London called 4 locos. From when we entered the ambience , decor and polite staff blew us away . We were then greeted with our drinks which were the perfect combination of sweet and strong which is how we love them and to put the cherry on top the steak was cooked to perfection . We were served by the lovely lidia who was attentive , educated in the menu and polite and funny . I would highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning in a larger group . I had a prime cut of steak but they have two lower cheaper alternatives of size plus me and my partner shared a starter and had two cocktails each hence the price listed .

Came here for a combined birthday/Easter Sunday lunch, having really enjoyed their excellent takeaway food during lockdown. My daughter had the kids meal which was really good value, and we had the parrillada Argentina which was amazing. The meat is always high quality and cooked perfectly. Desserts are great too. Will be back for more!

We came here on the basis of a recommendation and loved it. The food was great, well cooked and tasted amazing. Service was lovely too staff very friendly and fast service. We came midweek evening and it wasn't too busy but I'll definitely be back and recommend others too.

I'd give it 4.5* If I could. 5* for the food. I had the fillet (shown with salad) and my friend the sirloin. Both steaks were superb. Cooked perfectly (and my dinner companion is particularly picky in that regard). I tried one of the chips off my friend's plate and found it more flavourful than typical chips (maybe some sort of seasoning?) The dulce de leche cheesecake was also deliciously lush. 4* for the decor. While nice, we both found it a bit too clinical/caf-like (mighr be improved by lowering the lights and adding candles?) Plus it was a bit chilly. First time there. Would definitely go back though and recommend it as a great Purley local!

Amazing food and best service around for miles!

Food was delicious and service was excellent. Well cooked rib eye steak with great chimichurri on the side, the creamed spinach and humita were also delicious. Friendly staff too.

My wife picked 4 Locos aa she wanted to try something different. After thinking to myself that of all the places to choose, she picks a steakhouse. Well, i have to admit that i was very glad she did because this place isn't just a steakhouse. The atmosphere is great and the kids loved it to. Next time I'm getting the ribs!

A little gem in Purley! Very friendly and efficient staff. The food was excellent. We had the black pudding and aubergine with goats cheese to start followed by steak, chips and truffle Mac and cheese. I was pleasantly surprised by it all. The wine list was a great one too!

My partner and I booked a table for last night for his birthday and everything about the evening was oustanding. We received a warm welcome from the staff and the bartender when we arrived and were promptly given a choice of tables to choose from. We each had the ribeye steak and shared 4 different sides and everything was amazing! The steaks were perfectly cooked, tender and full of flavour and the sides were equally as delicious. The service was excellent and we had a great evening. We will definitely be returning to try the ribs!

Had a meal there tonight with my partner and I have to say It was one of the best steaks I have ever had. I had the rib eye and my partner had the fillet. Absolutely superb. Best place in the area in terms of food quality and consistency. We always have a great meal from them. The salads, steaks, chicken dishes and burgers… we can recommend everything we’ve had here. They package the food well for delivery orders and give very big portions.

Look up reviews of a Steak restaurant and 4 Locos did not disappoint in any way. Great food and very good service from Renata. We all had great steaks my Son's 18th Bday and we had one of the sharing platter. Chicken escalope was so big we took half home. Good beer with chilled glasses. They were also busy with delivery guys. Highly recommend.

I love steak 🥩 and the steak I had was very good, people just need to know if you are getting a large one like the 18oz I had it will take sometime to have it cooked well done which is my preferred way of having it cook I know a lot people will said steaks shouldn't be cooked that way but everyone is free to have it the way they like it. Service was good and would happily go back.

I was recommended to visit this steakhouse as I am a massive steak lover and I was not disappointed. The food was amazing, the restaurant was nice and cosy and the staff were friendly and courteous. I would definitely return and I would recommend it as well 😊

We went here for a spontaneous local dinner on Sunday. We went for their sharing platter for 2 which was great value and really tasty. The cocktails were very good! Dare I say the best cocktails in Purley. The staff was so friendly and helpful, they even moved us to another table when we accidentally knocked down our drink. If you're thinking about going just go you won't regret it.

Last time we dined here was pre-covid. Decor has changed and it seems brighter and more spacious. The steaks are fantastic, I ordered medium (which looked more medium/rare to me) but tasted great. Service was excellent with a good choice of starters, side dishes and drinks. I would recommend although be aware that the drinks are a tad pricey.

First time at this amazing restaurant. The whole family absolutely loved it. Service was the best that we have received in a very long time. Our waitress was so polite, professional and attentive. I dropped my napkin on the floor, and not wanting to waste it - I picked it up off of the floor. She brought a new replacement within seconds! The food was very good, and we loved the look and atmosphere of the restaurant. I would highly recommend this fabulous restaurant to all. Meal for four, including starters came to £125 including 12.5% service charge.

One of if not the best burger that I have ever had! Food arrived very speedily and staff were more than polite and professional. Would 100% recommend and I will certainly be returning sometime soon.

First time i ordered from here, i used uber eats. I ordered steak with garlic butter, fries and salad, was absolutely beautiful. Best take away ive had this year. Large portions, a little cold but think thats down to the uber driver. My partner had the cheese burger which was ok he said but needed a little seasoning.

Food was great along with service. Went for the platter and was a big fan of the chorizo and steak. Their caramel cheesecake was also really good.

Good food. Service was very friendly, although my Wife's main course was not ordered and she had to eat it after we had had ours. Service was included, and as such we paid all of it, but should have reduced it.

Booked for my sons 21st birthday very accommodating, welcoming and friendly. Food was delicious, very tasty and good value. Will return for sure.

Nice food, good portions and quality. But after ordering the speciality dish for 2, and most expensive i might add we asked for an extra pot of sauce (about a tablespoon in a pot) i was charged an extra £2 . after we payed and leaving the waiter was more interested in talking to the bar man. we said goodbye after leaving with a reply from him as we walked out the door. paid just und £70 for meal and 2 drinks.

Would give a 4 as I had good rib-eye that came out quickly, buy after paying, and tipping extra, I realised there is a 20% SERVICE CHARGE ADDED - 20%?? - JOKERS - only 2 person table on a weekday, so must be their standard. Service wasn't the friendliest and an extra drink (we only got one each so fairly likely not even an honest mistake) was added to our bill. Didn't see this even mentioned on their website when I checked out here menu. Drinks overpriced. Not the kind of business I want to spend my money at

Absolutely stunning food! Really friendly and welcoming staff. Myself and my partner visited on Sunday the 1st for a last date night before the second lockdown. They was so lovely and the steaks where perfect! Highly recommend giving this place a try. Fairly priced and was nice to see somewhere that still does Prosecco by the glass. Honestly can’t fault this little place. We will be definitely be returning once they reopen. Thank you for the lovely evening.

Wow...just wow. Tonight my other half and I ordered a steak (rare) and a pulled pork burger on Deliveroo. Both were cooked to perfection. The steak just melted in your mouth, the chips weren’t salty, seasoned just right and the salad was gorgeous. Best steak I’ve ever had. My other half absolutely loved his burger and was the best onion rings he’s tasted. Safe to say it hit the spot just right. Amazing. We’ll definitely be visiting and booking a table. Highly Recommended!

Wonderful steak cooked to perfection. Great service. We did the eat out to help out so really worth it but even without it would still eat there. I also had the 4 Locos Steak salad and that was really tasty too. Highly recommend.

Great atmosphere, professional staff and delicious food. Although it's a steak house, id highly recommend the pulled pork burger. So yummy! A few times the chips have been slightly over cooked than what is like them to be but that's personal preference. There's a big variety of drinks and cocktails are made with love! With the recent events, the measures in place to protect everyone against COVID-19 are beyond sufficient which made me feel safe. Overall, id definitely recommend this restaurant for an enjoyable evening out with great food and a chiled of atmosphere.
