(Translated by Google) A shop where a super friendly shop owner offers freshly cut soba noodles. Yam is kneaded into soba. Each customer was confirmed to be allergic to yam. I think he has a nice personality. And for those who like sake, there is a mechanism that makes you want to order sake, which is wonderful. I myself have quit drinking now, For those who like sake, "Ate" is also It's fulfilling and the owner's character is strong, so I think it's a perfect shop for those who want to have lunch at Kusatsu Onsen. Soba is chewy and has a satisfying taste, Even if it is large for men, the volume is small. If you go from Yubatake, you have to go through the bun shop, but you can go through it brilliantly. Let's enjoy your meal with Wahei-san.

(Translated by Google) I went with my family at lunch time. It is a soba restaurant in the Kusatsu Onsen town. As you can see from the photo, soba is handmade. It's very delicious. The side menu is very substantial as well as soba, so it's perfect for drinking sake! This time it was for lunch, so it was non-alcoholic, but there are a wide variety of alcoholic beverages, so it is a soba restaurant where you can drink alcohol. I brought a small child, but the shop staff were very kind to me. It's a soba restaurant where you can get the energy of the service! (Translated by Google) Visited around 13:00 on a public holiday. There were two groups ahead of me, but I was able to get in after waiting about 15 minutes. There are only about 15 seats in the store, but the goodwill is hung between the seats and there is enough space. The tempura and soba noodles were very delicious, and the staff's response was very good. I will visit you again when I come to Kusatsu. Thank you for the meal! One of the best service I’ve received at a restaurant. The Kake soba was fantastic and the assorted tempura was light and crispy. Would come again!

(Translated by Google) The shop has a very nice feel to it. And soba noodles are delicious. They serve freshly made soba. The tempura was plentiful and delicious. However, probably because of the oil, both of us who ate had a heavy stomach.

(Translated by Google) Handmade soba! ! I entered the store as soon as it opened while watching the store staff hand-beating at the entrance of the store! It was full in no time on Sunday morning! Maitake mushroom soba 980 yen? It was ranked! Kake soba is about 800 yen. It's so delicious... This is soba! ! The handmade soba is the best, the store is cute, there is a large amount of soba, and the price range is reasonable! When I come to Kusatsu, it has become a dish I definitely want to eat again! Thank you! ! Would recommend the maitake tenzaru soba! The soba was made fresh, and the texture was chewy. Portion sizes were very generous too. The host was very friendly and welcoming. Will definitely return! :)

The owner makes soba by hand every twenty minutes. His sake list is incredible, full of natural unpasteurized sakes. And the food? Wow. Local ingredients, wild and foraged. I even had soy braised crickets!

I got here already starving, and immediately was warmly welcomed with a smile, and hot tea. I had the maitake cold soba set, while my friend had the wild forage and hot soba set. We asked for sake recommendation and got a really nice sweet sake. The food arrived quickly, it wad DELICIOUS! We got two other sake shots on the house, just so we can try some! The dude who works here was such a kind guy, I fell in love with his nice and happy vibes. So was the lady in the kitchen! Superrr recommended for vegetarians and for anyone who wants to enjoy a really good and fresh Soba meal.

I’ve literally travelled across Japan and eaten LOTS of soba. I can easily say, hands down, this is one of the best meals I’ve had in my entire 8 months in this country. I had the spring seasonal wild greens tempura set, which was incredible, along with hot soba, and my friend had the classic mushroom cold soba set. To call the food here delicious would be to sell it short. On top of all that, the place is vegetarian friendly, foreigner friendly and the service is next level. A truly amazing experience. They also have a very impressive sake selection and everything is very fairly priced for this area, especially considering I visited during Sakura season. Trust me, just come here and see for yourself. You will not be disappointed!

Kusatsu has lots of lovely little restaurants, but none can compare with the simplicity, hospitality and quality of this wonderful soba shop. The food is fresh and delicious and very well balanced. Watching Chifumi-san cut the fresh noodles adds to the pleasure of knowing the food you are served is without rival. While the onsens around town are a perfect escape from your daily life...this restaurant goes a step further, and makes you feel like you are finally home.

Never have I ever had real soba noodles until this 5 star experience. Get the maitake mushroom tempura with COLD soba which you dip into a sauce. Add wasabi to the soba for amazing acidity. When you finish your soba, ask for the soba cooking water to be added to your dipping sauce for an amazing hot soup! Not much of a line vs matsumo next door but equally as good if not better! Amazing service - you can tell they really want to serve customers! Amazing sake selection as well. Come at or before noon - they close at 130pm or earlier if they run out of noodles!

(Translated by Google) I went while looking at the map, but I was walking with an umbrella, and the frontage was narrower than I had imagined, and there was a big curtain hanging at the entrance, so I overlooked it and passed by once. I went there after 13:00 when the temperature suddenly dropped and the rain started. It was a shop with a small number of seats, but there were vacant seats and I was able to sit down immediately. The gentle-looking owner kindly told me that it was cold today. I ordered tempura soba. The soba is a little thicker and has a chewy texture, and rather than slurping it down, it's more like chewing and eating. . I left a little bit of tempura in a heap, but all of them were fried in the most delicious state, and the maitake mushrooms, which are difficult to fry, were also very delicious. On the way, my husband served me a dessert because it was like traveling alone. The decorations in the store were handmade by the wife, which was also nice. I think I want to go again.

(Translated by Google) I visited with eight uncles at lunchtime on Saturday. Assorted tempura, buckwheat noodles, nozawana, etc., and a moderate amount of sake. There was rare sake, and I had a happy time listening to the recommendation from the owner who was cheerful and polite. The soba noodles at the end of the meal are also excellent. I'm convinced that there is a line. I will stop by again when I come to Kusatsu Onsen.
