I’ve literally travelled across Japan and eaten LOTS of soba. I can easily say, hands down, this is one of the best meals I’ve had in my entire 8 months in this country. I had the spring seasonal wild greens tempura set, which was incredible, along with hot soba, and my friend had the classic mushroom cold soba set. To call the food here delicious would be to sell it short. On top of all that, the place is vegetarian friendly, foreigner friendly and the service is next level. A truly amazing experience. They also have a very impressive sake selection and everything is very fairly priced for this area, especially considering I visited during Sakura season.
