The chicken dishes here are unforgettable- it’s one of the best chicken I have had in my life! They only serve Matsusaka chicken - for grill your own, the chicken is specially marinated with their secret miso recipe. The fried chicken wings is a must order too!

Delicious food, nice ambience, reasonable price, great starting! Most recommended restaurant around Kawaguchiko. Definitely worthwhile 10 minutes walk from the station.

Lovely Restaurant with friendly English speaking staff. You choose a variety of chicken types (breast, thigh, leg etc ) brought to your table as small sliced pieces. You then cook on the table “bbq”. Eat with your choice of salads and various rice/vegetables. A good variety of drinks, beer, sparkling wines, sake and non alcoholic cocktails. Great way to spend an hour or so.

Husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this tucked away Japanese grill restaurant. Their chicken is fresh and packed with flavor. You pick between miso or salt & pepper seasoning. We chose the latter and wow, the high quality meats did the rest. We also added the veggie assortment and were highly pleased.

What a lovely place! Feels like you're in the middle of a residential neighbourhood and suddenly there's a restaurant. The service was great and the food was amazing! I wish I was hungrier so I could have tried more things! We had chicken thighs with the miso sauce, tori menshiku (my personal favourite!!) and a Korean salad. The chicken was so tasty and juicy, and the tori menshiku was homemade, one with ume and one with shiso and cheese. Delicious! Definitely a great place to search out and go to!!

We were seated on cushions on the floor, received great service and advice for food/drinks, and had a fantastic time cooking our chicken. The food was great and overall it was a lovely restaurant. Lymph nodes were great and probably a highlight of the meal.

This establishment specializes in yakiniku chicken meat, and boy do they do their chicken well. You can order a platter of different parts depending on availability for the day. We had the skin, thigh and shoulder and they were all so tender and delicious with the special miso sauce. Menu in both English and Chinese are available. Lady running the place is extremely friendly, and spoke simple English which helped us feel welcome in this cosy shop. Well worth a visit for those looking to get a bite! Parking is available at a dedicated carpark too!

One of my best grilled chicken experiences in Japan! Must try their chicken skin and red miso sauce! Staff are so nice and we had a good time visit there. Will definitely come back again gone day

A hidden gem. I wasnt a fan of grilled chicken but this place really changed my mind. Food was great, friendly service and great atmosphere. Chicken neck fillet is a must try. Unfortunately, they only have one sauce.

If there was one word to describe paradise, that would be Torikko. The food here is amazing and their homemade miso sauce absolutely brings out the flavour of their grilled chicken! Do order their chicken skin and chicken breast because it’s so tender and juicy. This place was a random find and there was absolutely no regrets coming here to fill our bellies. 10/10 would come back again.

Great chicken BBQ place in the Fujikawaguchiko area! There are some other menu options as well, but chicken is obviously the name of the game. Highly recommended!

Really nice chicken bbq place near kawaguchiko. Great value and really nice setup inside. We enjoyed the miso marinated chicken cuts, they have tons of different meats. The plum wine is also great.
