My husband found this restaurant to eat Amakusa Daioh. It was quite far from the main route and suddenly appeared while I was feeling anxious - Izakaya? bar? cafe? I was a little worried though! The staff are kind and manly. Ordered tataki, charcoal grilled king, and chicken wings (*ﾟ▽ﾟ*) Each piece of tataki has a strong flavor and has a slightly sticky texture! Unlike local chicken, charcoal-grilled chicken has thick fibers and is soft and juicy! The chicken wings were surprisingly large at 30cm and very filling! Next time I'll go eat oyakodon. (*ﾟ▽ﾟ*)

I had been interested in this place since before my Amakusa drive, so I stopped by for lunch. The restaurant was located in a residential area a little off the street.I've eaten lunch at Amakusa Daioh several times at various restaurants since I came to Kumamoto, but to be honest, I don't think it was that great. I was looking forward to it and asked the staff what their number one recommendation was, and they told me it was charcoal-grilled. I ate it and it was delicious. Next time I'm going to eat oyakodon which can be eaten raw.

This is a rare restaurant where you can eat raw oyakodon! It's very delicious even if you eat it as sashimi! Even more delicious when mixed with egg yolk! Shop atmosphere is good Customer service Yoshi The location of the store is difficult to find, so please check in advance! No shoes are allowed, so we recommend wearing shoes that are easy to take off.

Anyway, the best customer service and hospitality. The food and drinks were served smoothly, For the meal, I was able to enjoy Amakusa Daioh, Genovese is homemade and delicious! Both adults and children can enjoy it. I had forgotten something, and the next day, even though it was outside business hours, they served me the best oyakodon with soup for breakfast. The master's care and the wife's kind and smiling response warmed my heart and made me feel full! I will go again!

As a chicken lover myself, this was a restaurant I wanted to visit at least once. Even though it's located in a back street off the national highway, I made a reservation because it was a popular restaurant, and it turned out to be a great decision. I was seated as soon as the store opened, and the items I had ordered in advance arrived without a long wait. "Amakusa Daio Saiko Oyakodon" is 2500 yen. Kurazogama pottery? Dinner. Onion slices and perilla leaves are spread on top, making for a nice accent. The top floor is lined with Amakusa Daioh thighs, breasts, sunazuri, and charcoal-grilled meat. The edge of the bowl is decorated with chicken meat miso, and you can enjoy it grilled over charcoal or mixed with rice as you like. You can also enjoy the chicken tataki (sashimi?) individually with ponzu sauce (with yuzu pepper) or soy sauce, or as a rice bowl with the accompanying sauce. Since it was local chicken, the texture was softer than I expected, but the flavor was strong, but each one was unique and I was able to enjoy it until the end. Thank you for the meal!

The atmosphere of the shop and the customer service of the lady who had a limited number of customers was very good. The sashimi at Amakusa Daioh was also soft and the fried chicken wings were huge, which surprised me❗ It tastes better than a single fried thigh.

I made a reservation and arrived an hour early, but they didn't make me look bad🤗 The welcome board was cute, and everyone at the restaurant had great customer service. And, Amakusa Daioh was delicious. The bowl of fresh tataki and the Amakusa Daio chicken wings were huge, chewy and delicious. It was a wonderful restaurant that made me want to go there at night as well. Thank you for the meal.
