I only spent one night here. After camping for several days I wanted a shower and bed to sleep in. Well worth the money. It doesn’t look fancy on the outside but the room was very clean, comfortable, and relaxing. The owner also works the front desk and he is so nice. I love that it’s owned and run by a life long local resident. I highly recommend this spot, over the big chain hotels, if you’re planning to stay a few days in Moab. I definitely will stay here again whenever I visit again!

I actually kind of loved the vibe of the place. It felt perfect for Moab and for a road-trip type vacation. It was clean but a bit older in terms of decor/style. Amenities (fridge, microwave, coffee, tv) all worked great and were updated. Ice machine is located outside. I had the single queen sized room that I shared with another and it was the perfect size. There's actually a really big closet if you plan on staying long enough to unpack. I wouldn't recommend trying to fit 3 people into this size room because there's just no space or option. Bed was comfortable. Location is about a 15-20 minute walk to the more touristy/busy area of this strip but there are plenty of restaurants right outside the motel. Check-in and out was easy, though, there are limited check-in hours so make sure you are there in time. The employee who helped us check-in was also super helpful with suggestions.

My girlfriend and I absolutely loved our stay here! We came down to Moab planning on tent camping, which didn’t work out due to the heat at night. When we booked the room last minute and showed up at midnight, I was a little sketched out at first, because there were no office staff. The room and bathroom were very quaint, but for the price and location, it is a very great spot! We also loved how it was pet friendly. Would definitely recommend and come back here to this hole-in-the-wall motel.

The room I rented was horrible it smelled like smoking when it was a non smoking room. Didn't stay I spoke with the lady over the phone I got charge 189.00. Was small smelly. She only gave me 75.00 off the room I didn't stay in when I wanted a full refund. Was dissatisfied upset of the service I will not return. Went to LaQunita way better.

Awesome stay we broke down and been stuck here for a couple days but they got us rooms and the guy upfront even offered to take a look at our car. It's super clean here and the beds are really comfortable. I recommend staying here as it's affordable and within walking distance of restaurants and stores so if you don't or can't drive around. Definitely will be back but on better circumstances next time.

This places reviews don’t do it justice. It’s spotless clean. Parking is super easy. Very secure. Easy to check in even after hours. Absolutely zero issues except we hadn’t found it sooner. This place is like showing up at your great Aunts house who had everything perfectly ready. It’s pet friendly as well. Nice and quiet. Places for your bike or hiking equipment. Just an absolutely stellar little nook in Moab.

The room was comfortable and had everything you needed for a place to sleep after a long day of hiking. Our only complaint is the room wouldn’t lock when you leave. Only when you were in the room. Easy check in and check out process via text.

I was referred to the Silver Sage when I showed up in town with a broken-down car and asked the folks at the Wyndham if they could refer me to some place more affordable. Kudos to them for a good referral. Kate has been a wonderful host. I showed up super tired, late at night after closing, and she met me at the front and got me into a room right away. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable (and I'm super picky), with homey touches like hand-painted signs and motel coffee mugs for sale. Kate was really flexible and kind in helping me out while I waited for my car to get fixed. There's onsite storage if you need to leave some luggage for a bit, and there are some decent outdoor seating places if you want to get out of your room. There are plenty of places to eat and drink close by. I had to work all day online for two days straight, attending several zoom meetings, and I had perfect wifi function the whole time. It really couldn't have been an easier solution to a difficult situation. Thanks Kate!!

We loved our stay at the Silver Sage Inn. We rented the apartment which had more than enough room for three of us. Could we find things to complain about? Of course, you always can! But the room was spotless! The bed was super comfy as was the pull out couch. The shower was hard to get to the perfect temperature but that isn't a deal breaker. Towels were whiter than white and everything smelled wonderful. We did not us any of the amenities; there was a not an employee on site but check in was an easy phone call. I assume it was the owner that texted me to make sure all was well, which it was. It is nearby the Moab Brewery so that is an easy walk. Had it been warmer, walks to and around town would have been easy as well. Road noise is present but that is any place to stay in Moab that is near the main road, you just can avoid it. This will be our go to place to stay in Moab as it was affordable, especially booking the apartment. So much better than AirBnB where there are huge cleaning fees yet often a list of things I need to clean before I leave! Highly recommend for affordable, no frills, clean stay in Moab. Location was good, we didn't use the amenities.

Very nice simple accommodations. Easy to check in on line or call # on office door. Door code is texted to you and easy to use...just remember to use same code to lock Door if you leave. There's a nice BBQ to use and gas fireplace too!! Staff is friendly and expedient with requests. Stayed 2 nights to enjoy Arches and Canyon Lands National Parks. Will be back!! Thanks Zach!

Wanted to leave a better review, but honestly this place had some downsides. The room itself and location were exactly what was expected. It was clean and had everything I needed. That being said, the walls in this building are SUPER thin. I actually assumed that the guest laundry must have been right next to my room at first because of the constant level of noise coming from the room next to me. It turns out that it was just another guest, because later I was able to easily hear his phone conversation through the wall. A few of the nights that I stayed, this kept me awake past when I wanted to go to sleep. The bed was also very firm and hard to get comfortable in. I didn’t have any other issues, but if I had- there was no staff on site to bring them to, just a number to text. All in all it was a okay stay with a really good price.

Not a bad spot to stay for a night. Nice, safe feeling area. Views are nice (the back side more than the front, but you have views on both sides). Mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, towels, soap included. Grill outside that looks like it’s for for shared use. A code is used for entry into the room. Nothing wrong with this stay, it’s well kept for what it is, but nothing fancy other than the view. No screen in the window

We stayed in the apartment unit of this motel for a few days and absolutely loved it! This is a real "don't judge a book by its cover" situation. The outside is not fancy, but the unit we stayed in was awesome which is all that matters. Super clean and comfortable and had very modern décor/renovations inside (new appliances: stove, dishwasher, fridge, smart TV) etc. Check in was a breeze. Great customer service. Would absolutely stay here again if I came back. It was so nice to make our own meals and not have to eat out each night.

Been a while since I stayed here. But, rooms were nice. No office personnel now. Reserve your room online. They send you a text telling you how to access your room. Nice area on the lawn with chairs and a BBQ.

We stayed here to be close to Arches and Canyonlands National Parks. It was a perfect location. We received a text on how to get into our room. Once we got in, there was a strong bleach smell. I appreciate the cleaning but it was strong. We never did figure out how to work the TV but we didn't need it. Still, a great place to stay just dont expect 5 star rooms. I did enjoy having the small closet available in the bathroom.

My husband, myself and our 2 dogs were 'ghost guests' if you wish and they were very accommodating. We did not arrive until after 10pm and the office was closed at that point. On the office door was a note indicating that a text should have been received with a code for our room door if we did a reservation. I checked texts and found this text which told us our room number and the door code. So we were set for the night. It was a cozy room with the basics needed, just what we needed. We were also gone before the front office opened. So it worked out very well for our situation. And it was off of the main road through town which made it convenient for us.

Great location within walking distance to downtown Moab, but otherwise the motel is basic. We paid $160 for a night in a room with two queen beds. The room felt a bit cramped. No breakfast in the morning. Separate heating and cooling units. Shower stall, no bath. Clean but old furniture and decor. Mini fridge and microwave included.

We had a terrible experience. The rooms are nothing special and clearly hadn't been cleaned. The sheets had dirt, sand, and specs of something before we even got in them. The microwave had food stuck to it for who knows how long. The pricing on these reviews says $60, but I paid over $300 for two nights. (Roughly $140/night before taxes). The amenities were all closed, which would've been nice to know ahead of time. We would contact the office about these complaints, but there are no employees on site. We would contact the email about these complaints, but they specify no refunds several times while booking. (Guess now we know why) The only up-side was that they allow dogs, but as we have come to find out so does nearly every motel in this area. Do not stay here unless you have nowhere else to go.

I love this place! The rooms were small but very neat and clean. The guy at the front desk was nice. We had room 108 and it had a view of the red cliffs behind the place. It was a little unusual but it felt safe.

I really wanted to enjoy the Silver Stage motel since the lady checking us in was so nice but then it went downhill from there. The room was tiny making it difficult to find places to store suitcases, food items, backpack and coolers. The real turnoff was our toilet seat had not been cleaned when we checked in. Not the bottom of the seat but the top of the seat. Luckily I brought some Lysol so I could make quick use of it after a long trip as there are no common restrooms on site. At night we turned on the ac window unit and it only blew warm air so it stayed at 78 degrees. Then in the morning we had a plumbing problem with the toilet. Unfortunately there is no one onsite over night and early morning so we could not get hold of anyone to fix the ac or toilet after leaving messages. They did have hot water and nice beds but the lack of ac made the room way to warm to get a good nights sleep. Upkeep of the property is average for its age. Won’t be staying here upon future trips to Moab.

I'm giving a 5 star review to a 2 star inn. Reasonable prices. Clean but small room. Comfortable beds. WiFi Coffee maker, fridge and microwave in room. Hot tub outside. No frills at all, but a good place to stay when your spending the day at the National Parks.

My camper broke and I had to stay in a hotel while I repaired it, this was one of the least expensive stays in town. But it was also clean and very quiet. The clerk Nathan is a really good guy, he was accommodating for our situation and even gave me a helping hand. Thank you Silver Sage Inn & staff. You're all wonderful people!

We stayed here for two nights. The first night was fine, nothing fancy but a good spot for a pet friendly stay overnight. The second night they had a water pipe bust. We were alerted about the problem but got radio silence after that. We spent the evening without water. One flush of the toilet, no water for showering or washing our hands. It’s beyond their control to fix a pipe quickly but they should’ve at least let us know that we would be without water overnight and/or given us water so we could wash our hands and flush the toilet. Because the office hours are in the afternoon, we didn’t get to talk to anyone about this. I left a message on the machine but never got a call back. Next time I’ll spend the extra money to not stay here.
