Fantastic location is unfortunately about all this park has going for it under current management. We were met with rudeness, arrogance and complete inflexibility from the moment we entered the park by the management. The atmosphere is rigid and completely unfriendly. Understandably caravan parks need to have rules for the betterment of all the guests to ensure safety of staff and patrons. This park is however next level with its rules and regulations making the atmosphere not relaxing, unenjoyable and as though you are constantly being watched which is far from what caravan and camping should be about. We are experienced campers, to be told we must follow the direction of Ken to enter our site again was met with rudeness and inflexibility. If he took a moment to hop off his high horse he may have understood that my husband has a hearing impairment and was unable to adequately hear his directions, instead we were left feeling like we had done the wrong thing! Ken stood in view of my husbands car mirror obstructing his view of our van, he refused to move barking 'follow my instructions' to which my husbands response was that he would not continue to manoeuvre the van until he had clear vision of his pathway to ensure safety of our asset and others in the park. Again, we were made to feel at fault. The amenities are adequate however the showers have very poor water pressure and the water was mostly cold after only a few moments. The park has 'strict cleaning' times that were not adhered to by management, this again was met with patrons being told off, or made to feel that way, for showering when management wanted to clean. We have a small swagger tent for our older children (13,11) as they find it more comfortable to sleep in than the bunks in our van. We had to book another site to cater for this as tents, swags mats etc are not allowed on the grass, only on astroturf sites. The grass was in no way pristine, in fact we found it chewed up due to patrons not being able to utilise their camping rugs, not to mention grass being dragged all through the van. This is purely another example of management flexing their control and squeezing more money out of consumers. The astro sites were small with poor drainage. Finally this park is dog friendly however their are no facilities that accommodate them and their is no safe agility area to exercise your pet as the grassed area out the front of the park is close to the main road. We approached management, Ken in particular, on multiple occasions to ask questions or make general chit chat we were shut down each time with his arrogant and belittling attitude. Feedback is a gift, we hope your park can learn something from our review and not excuse and defend your poor service.

I have never completed a review before but this is an exception. The female manager was lovely, friendly and accommodating. As soon as we were introduced to the male manager, I have never experienced such rude and dismissive behaviour. Worst customer service I have experienced at a caravan park in many years and kilometres of travelling. Would not recommend staying at this park.

Nice park, so clean. However, the level of arrogance and aggression from management is profound. I saw Ken jump out from behind a car to berate a young girl for riding a push bike β€˜too fast’. Scared the poor girl. This is just a small sample of stories I’ve heard about this guy, including trying to confiscate some poor lady’s dog. This guy is out of control. Now, Ken will come up with lies to try and dispel my comments, but don’t believe a word he writes. Do not go to this park.

We loved the comfortable bed and cozy dog friendly cabin! The park is centrally located next to the river and beautiful walking trails. Also a short walk over the bridge to the historic part of Echuca where the paddle boats are. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We were very happy with the cabin cleanliness and the tidiness of the park. The front reception (female) was cheerful and welcoming. Sadly our time here was saddened by the rudeness and aggressive manner of the man (Ken). His belittling manner and speech to our son inlaw on his arrival, was harsh and unnecessary. The service of helping customers park their van is a nice gesture, but it comes down to how it is delivered. Reviews are to help businesses work on areas that need reflection, your park is lovely but Ken needs to reflect on his delivery to customer service. He seems to pre judge people before knowing them or their character and this manner doesn't come off well. May be don't refute everything that people give in feedback and just take ownership and responsibility, change is by choice.

Recently return from stay in a two room double cabin (dog friendly) and we couldn't have been happier with the accommodation. When we arrived the cabin was extremely clean, well furnished with new furniture, a smart tv and clean warm bedding. A nice touch was the heater turned on in preparation for us since the weather was so cold! The park in general was well kept and tidy with friendly management and in a good location. The only thing we would suggest is some hooks in the bathroom to hang towels and clothes! I have noticed in previous reviews the mention of a male staff member named Ken. We did not see any male staff members at all during our stay. The two female managers were extremely friendly and helpful.

When you mention to management that your stay was not pleasant for any reason, the management of this facility will tell you you didn't need to book with them. Check through the long list of one star reviews, the park management never once accepts responsibility for your unpleasant stay or their rudeness towards guests. Great location to see Echuca and the best bit is that there are plenty of other parks close by to try..

We had a really enjoyable break here just before Christmas. The park was quiet and very clean and tidy, a credit to the owners who were obviously working tirelessly following the recent floods to restore the property to their high standard. Our cabin contained everything we needed, and a safe outdoor space for our little one to explore. The park is a comfortable walking distance to Moama and the Echuca wharf and surrounds. Would highly recommend staying here!

Great location for what we were after. Amazing facilities for a long term stay, which we would definitely consider in the future. Did have to change the bed around in the double room as access to the plugs was behind the bed, which risked damaging our plugs.

We booked for 1 week but ended staying for 3! Highly recommend this park. We have quite a big set up and they allocated us a roomy site and had no trouble getting in or out. Well maintained property with excellent amenities. Staff are fabulous and very friendly. Thank you Bianca, Ken and Janine. Your hard work does not go unnoticed. Stay safeπŸ‘‹πŸ»

This is the Cleanest and most Tidy park we have ever stayed in, from the Sites, Toilets and showers, BBQ area, Fantastic. Sites have plenty of room. 2 minute walk to the shops, Pub over the road, Clubs over the road and the great Moama Market day on a Sunday. We absolutely loved our stay.

The Lady from the office was welcoming, min 65$ for powered camp-site. If you are by yourself I could be quite expensive (normally around 35$ 50$ max everywhere else). It's the most expensive camping I even been around. If you look for a quiet place and somewhere to sleep more than until 7:30 am, just go somewhere else. A lot of kids around and dogs. Good place for families.

Although a small park the MRHP is a great park especially for us older patrons. The park is set in a great location, is well maintained and has very clean amenities (a credit to the staff). Staff friendly & polite. Definitely recommend.

This is the park for you. If you : 1. Don't book with bookings.com, apparently this will entitle you to rude customer service on arrival and ensure you stay in their most budget option. 2. think included toiletries is soap only 3. only require a towel, no face washer or hand towel. Its in a good location.walking distance to the Echuca port precinct.

Great place to stay if you want some peace and quiet, saved in the Haven cabin for 4 nights and it was a nice spot to stay away from the hustle and bustle of Melbourne, close to town and stones throw away from the river, park grounds and cabins were spotless which is a credit to the owners and staff.

Skip overflowing stink and flies and the lid was left up. Rules and more rules, don't dare put a mat down or a peg in the ground and the manager insists on giving directions on how to park the van pontificating from his golf cart. Not my first choice. The amenities are clean.
