This is the most unorganized place ever. I have been patient, understand, and have not once been mean. I am truly SICK of living here. You basically have to harass the office to get anything done. When I moved in my dishwasher has broken since I moved in 11 months ago. At first, it caused bugs all in my unit. They “fixed” the dishwasher but had to call a plumber because it never actually worked. I never saw a plumber. My unit caned furnished. My couch had huge tear in it which I was also told would be replaced the day I moved in. That same couch is in my unit. My living room TV doesn’t work. The light in my bathroom has been out for almost 6 months. At this point, I’m getting dressed in the dark. They keep lying saying the part hasn’t arrived. 3 months later after pressing the issue, I was told the part was never actually ordered. They said they ordered it over 3 weeks ago and yet today they still don’t have it when I was told it takes 4 days to arrive. Whenever you go in the office the maintenance men are either sitting in the property manager office talking about residents or at the desk on their phone but they claim to be so behind and trying to catch up on requests. The unit above me flooded my bathroom leaving mold on my ceiling and walls which was never addressed or replaced. This has just been a HORRIBLE experience. I had to contact the fire marshal because my smoke detectors were removed which is illegal. You don’t have access to the amenities after the office closes. The property grounds are nasty and full of trash and dog poop. If you can literally move anywhere else go there.

The new manger is Amazing! She is working to get the apartment complex turned around. The amenities are great and the dog park is perfect for the fur babies. Kay in the front office is great as well. The new maintenance team is responsive and do their best to fix your issues! Love the look of this property! 10/10 would most definitely recommend.

Mirage is a great place to live! The amenities are great! The pool area is amazing! The apartments have great size space and a very large kitchen for someone who love to cook! It is located in a great area, near your favorite grocery stores and Department Stoes. The staff is very friendly and is always ready to help.If you're looking for somewhere to call home, Mirage On University is the place.

Mirage Apartments exceeded my expectations! With the location is quiet, just a short walk from South University and The Cookout Restaurant. The apartment itself was clean , spacious modern, with all the amenities I needed. The management team was friendly and responsive to any concerns. I highly recommend Mirage for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to call home.

After living here for two years (when it was student living), here’s my honest review. Please read fully in order to understand what you are getting into. For my first apartment, it was overall not too bad of an experience. My rent was reasonable, it was furnished and moderately nice. Staff was friendly, helpful, and things were fixed in a reasonable time. This was my experience in the first year. However the second year, the customer service plummeted. They switched management and it went downhill from there. No one answering phones much, waiting on maintenance for long periods of time, and grounds more unkept than usual. My roommate and I had to spend almost 4 days without air conditioner during the Summer. It was 96 degrees in our unit and should have been fixed immediately. It is inhabitable to have residents living in those conditions. I had to call on call maintenance after office hours, and he was nice enough to give us a box AC after days of continuously calling and pleading for a repair. Also, my furniture was broken since I initially moved in. The couch and chair arm was broken and worn. I put in multiple requests for a replacement, but I was continuously told that they were on “back order”. The gate also was never operational (atleast longer than a few weeks) so I didn’t see the point in them labeling themselves as a gated community. Lastly at the end of the lease, they decided to not rent by bed anymore and turn into “Luxury Living Apartments” for the new leasing year which in my opinion was not a good decision. Over half of their community was students searching for affordable living. I’m sure it was about wanting to pull more money by charging over 1k for these apartments, however it seems they lost about 75% of residents according to the emptiness of the parking lot vs the fullness before. I also still have not received my deposit back and it’s been over 90 days now I believe. All in all, these apartments were a great start to my adulthood and I appreciate the experience. However, I would not live there now. Kindly, I don’t think it’s worth the price they are charging now. I’m being generous with 4 stars because there were great moments and memories I’ve had here. Thank you.

The mirage is straight tho. The office staff is cool. Kay(the front office lady) is the one to talk to for information. Everybody’s energy is great. The staff is just remarkable. I highly suggest the mirage to move in to.

After spending 4 days in Mobile, I narrowed down my choice of apartments, which included Mirage. My initial opinion of the property and management was very positive. It looks well kept from the outside (besides the volleyball court), and the Kirsten Cox (goes by K) at the front was extremely nice. The day I was deciding, she asked, "What can I do to sell you on this apartment?" To this, I replied if the 3x3 apartment that I was considering had the half bath and laminate/vinyl flooring that I would sign. She replied saying that the 3x3 did include a half bath also and was 99% sure that the apartments would have updated flooring. After being told this, I applied yesterday and was approved. I received a phone call this morning informing me of my security deposit cost AND that there would be NO half bath and NO updated flooring. I had already left the Mobile area and live multiple hours away after deciding on Mirage. I can't express my disappointment in being ill informed as the application also cost me $78. Now I still need to decide on an apartment, and I'm out $78.
