Wow wow wow!!! I couldn’t take pics of the food, I tasted and I couldn’t stop. I had the sausage and pulled pork combination with broccoli casserole and corn chowder. It was a balanced explosion of savory flavors super well presented and so darn satisfying!!! Perfectly cooked, seasoned and beautifully smoked. My wife had the catfish with a salad and home made potato chips. The breading and the fish was super well seasoned and crispy breading with moist fish. It’s the best I’ve had. The chips were perfectly done , crispy perfectly seasoned and nor thin nor thick, just amazing. The ambience and environment were beautiful, friendly and felt like home in the manner we were treated by this young gal who’s nickname I think was Nas. She was friendly, informative and very welcoming. The service was quick too and the pricing was great. I was just way happy to have come. I would say this is among the top three restaurants I’ve visited in my lifetime given the amount of satisfaction I’ve gotten from a great meal in a great place with a great service. I give it extra bonus stars and I’ve never thought of giving extra stars ever before.

Went here for lunch during our road trip and absolutely loved it. Tried the sampler platter based on other review’s suggestions and everything was so delicious.

Atmosphere: Young and hip. Semi-sports bar / bar with a dining hall towards the back. Come in and sit yourself down at any available spot. Food: Pork Rinds Fairly typical rinds, nice seasoning. The white sauce accompanying it kicks up the flavor a notch. Mini Ribs Typically for kids two bones with a side, I chose Mac and Cheese. Delicious, juicy, fall-off-the-bone ribs. The ribs stand well on their own but the Sauce is amazing. The Mac and cheese is the right portions of Mac to Cheese for my preference. Not a lot of cheese. Do not order the M&C if you like yours with lots of cheese. Mini Wings You'll get 4 wings. Juicy meat with well balanced flavors. I picked the sauce with garlic. Great flavors with a nice spicy kick to it. Service: Very attentive and timely. The server was frequently asking if I needed anything. Final thoughts: If you like BBQ, this is a spot you should definitely consider, if the ribs are anything to go by. Great atmosphere, good music, friendly and attentive service. Plenty of TVs to watch any available sports

We stopped here before heading back to Jackson, MS, for lunch. We got takeout since we were trying to head back, but when I tell you that I wish I would've gotten 2 plates, I really WISH I would've gotten 2 plates! If I had known that their food was this good before I went, I would've come our day in town. We haven't been able to actually buy good BBQ. We found this restaurant by just riding around downtown. They just so happened to be one of very few restaurants that was open on Labor Day. If I'm really being honest, I'm glad everyone else was closed. It made it easier to find them. Oh yeah, in the picture, it was so good that I almost forgot to take a picture. Everything tasted great! And yes, I do mean everything. The sides are generously portioned as well. My husband had potato salad, and I normally don't eat restaurant potato salad because it's kinda bland to me, but not theirs! Theirs was good! The sauce is delicious! The ribs didn't need it, but the sauce was so darn good, it'll have you looking for something to put it on..lol! Whoever you all have in the kitchen and on the grill, I can tell they love their job! Excellent pulled pork sandwiches with the Alabama white BBQ sauce. The pulled pork didn't even need sauce but both the white BQ and the typical BBQ sauce were amazing. They also had great banana pudding and mac n cheese. Hope to visit again sometime.

Solid place for some BBQ, the white barbecue sauce was absolutely delicious, dry rub wings were super flavorful. The Mac and cheese was pretty disappointing but other than that I liked the place as a whole

The BBQ here is phenomenal. I tried the sampler. It came with pulled pork, smoked chicken, sausage, ribs, turkey, and chicken wings. My sides were were baked beans, greens, and house fried chips.. All were very tasty. I added a side of banana pudding and it did not disappoint. The staff was very friendly and proved great service. The environment of the restaurant was very relaxing and fun.

I like to end on a positive note, which unfortunately means i start with improvement areas. The restroom was meant to be rustic, but was just gross. I could wave to the table from the urinal when someone else opened the door. The soap dispensers were broke and the hand dryer barely worked. We were a decent sized group from the office, and they just weren’t able to handle a group this size. The first served were nearly finished eating before the last were served. Vegetarian and vegan options were limited. And thought they were not crowded, they ran out of the daily special and baked potatoes. On the plus side, I got the last potato and it was huge. The pulled pork was good, though the sides were not so good. Kudos to the waiter as he was hustling trying to deal with us. The place came highly recommended and is a local favorite, so I am hoping they were just having a bad night.

Wow is all I can say. Amazing meal, fabulous BBQ. I’ll be back.

Good locally owned Southern BBQ joint. Neat atmosphere with local music and entertainment. Smoked meat was good. The pork rind appetizer was huge and they were fresh fried with a light seasoning. Portions were not large, but reasonable for the price. Food was quickly delivered and fresh. Staff was very prompt and pleasant. Clean and inviting atmosphere. Definitely would visit again when in the area.

Dinner was good. Sausages, tenders, ribs, and wings were great. Corn Bread was solid. I'd go another half star but there were no bananas in my banana pudding and it was more Christmas themed in its flavor profile.

Omg! We both had thr smoked meatloaf and it was off thr chain good! Definitely would eat here again! Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Cold beers! Out door patio for when the weather is nice. Walking distance around downtown Mobile. Our table was a little rocky but nothing that bothered us, but the guy taking our drink order wasn't having it...it folded up a few napkins and stuffed it under the leg and fixed that wobble!! VERY COOL!

Good selection of food. Big portions served fresh. Good atmosphere to have fun with friends and colleagues. The ribs are excellent. Server very attentive to details. One colleague noticed an ingredient that did not suit him when the meal was served and asked whether a mod/new plate can be served without the ingredient ==> zero issues with the restaurant / a new plate was served fairly quickly.

Two things firstly if coming: Parking might be an issue depending on time when you come 2. They take your order then your seat with your ticket for them bring it to you(so maybe look at menu so can place your order as son at the cashier) Alright now to the main thing, food wise I got pulled pork platter which got say was on point, coworkers got wings (very good but slight pricey )and sandwiches which they all liked the food. Their sauces are pretty dance as well so if looking for BBQ downtown to seat and enjoy Moe’a the place.

I had the 1/2 rack of ribs, plentiful and nice taste, the source was also quite nice with a little kick....Only downside was the side orders, mac&cheese was very dry could not eat it, and the coleslaw was not good or anything like coleslaw....Thr service was super good.

I've eaten alot of BBQ in the south. If there isn't a pig on the sign, pass. There's no pig on Moe's sign. One type of bbq sauce. Meats were dry. Banana pudding was room temp & cinnamon not Banana flavored. And they don't have wet napkins. What the heck. Single toilet ladies room, but they provide you a bench. Skip it & look for any place with a pig on the sign.

I deeply apologize for not leaving a review last week from my visit to Alabama, but I wanted to say this: Me and my parents LOVED this place the moment we set foot into here (and yes, I LOVE barbecue), and my goodness, their ribs were AMAZING, including the sides! And the best part? Their pork rinds were just tasty and wonderful! All natural too unlike our version of pork rinds in Puerto Rico which were often stuffed in bags, and as appealing as they seem at first, they wreak havoc on their stomachs because they have WAY too many preservatives and trans-fats just so they can taste good but then have a sour stomach afterwards, along with negative health effects as a result. Their versions of pork rinds are 1000x better, and this is coming from someone who was on a long vacation trip from Puerto Rico to Florida, and I love it SO much! ❤❤❤ When the time is right and I'll be moving to the states alongside my parents (specifically Florida), I'll be sure to go on a road trip and visit back this place again, just for that sweet, BBQ goodness. Thank you very much, will hope to eat over there again soon! 😀 👍

Wow! Amazingly delicious! I highly recommend Moe's. Visited Moe's during an overnight in Mobile. So happy we went there! We ordered their sampler platter so we could try a bit of everything. This was the absolute right choice. The platter is supposed to feed 2-3 people, but I'd argue it can feed 3-4 adults. We ate more than we should have, and still had tons of leftovers. All of the meats were amazing. I'd have to pick the smoked sausage as my favorite, but everything was truly amazing. The sides were superb also. The coleslaw was the best I've ever tasted. And don't forget their cornbread!

Pleasant atmosphere with delicious food! My husband and his battle buddy and his father went to lunch there recently. The cornbread was crunchy and had a kind of a sweet taste to it. I ordered the 2 meat platter with turkey and dry rubbed wings! The portion size was just right and it came with 2 sides of choice. This spot is definitely on my list to revisit!

Everything was edible. I so expected better and was totally disappointed. Ordered catfish for which was listed as "fillets" I received what I considered "catfish nuggets." Ribs were tender but lacked flavor and were extremely fatty with each bite. Being from the north, we are not used to the watery thin BBQ sauce, but this was spicy and, again, lacked flavored. The potatoes in the potato salad were so large, which made for a dry potato salad. The red beans and rice were just dry. Visiting Alabama started in Huntsville all the way to Mobile worst meal of the trip. I can't recommend 😕 service and atmosphere make up a little bit not much.

Great little spot in downtown Mobile. Very friendly staff. Brisket was DIVINE.... melted in your mouth. The coleslaw was ridiculously good, like nothing I had ever had. Sweet, but vinegary. Sooo good. I will say the BBQ sauce was slightly underwhelming but you didn't need it with the brisket because it was so flavorful. Also reasonably priced. Banana pudding wasn't my favorite, it was very cinnamon tasting and a little runny.

The food is good but in my opinion there are better BBQ places in town. Service ain't great either

My experience at Moe's was great. They have a laid back atmosphere, and that distinct Mobile air about them. Their meats, particularly the brisket, are out of this world. They take a lot of time smoking the meats, and it comes out in the flavor. I definitely recommend Moe's Downtown.
