I had grits and shrimp at the coast in nc so I figured I'd try it in our local restaurant 101 . They were very different the coast had a red rue with fresh shrimp and a distinct flavor of a authentic dish , the 101 shrimp and grits had well to be honest bland flavor nothing more than grits shrimp and some bacon very dry to say the least . I was expecting something with a little more creative and flavor filling . This is my opinion I'd advise you to make your own restaurant 101 is a staple in our uptown community and have a wide variety of different meals to suit most . This palace is so gorgeous. It has room for large partys or just a date with yourself. It was a whole vibe. The service was great and fast. The food was pretty good but it's always the atmosphere for me. Love it. They also have outside dining.

We have eaten at Restaurant 101 a couple of times before the pandemic. This was our first visit since the pandemic. We were not disappointed. I have had their delicious steak salad before but today I chose their burger which turned out to be excellent. I chose the homemade chips and they were good as well. While we have not sample a lot on the menu, we have never had anything that wasn't very good. I am convinced that new neighbors (we only moved to the area in February) that Restaurant 101 is the best restaurant in Mocksville. Service was also excellent. I have no qualms about giving it five stars.

In hundreds of restaurant reviews on Google Maps, covering multiple states, I believe I've given just three five-star reviews. Restaurant 101 in Mocksville, North Carolina, will be the fourth. Outstanding quality food--hamburger and fish sandwich platters--was spot on perfect, and their delicious coffee would put Starbucks to shame. Pricing was on the high side for the area, but food quality and quantity made it worth the price. Wait staff was also tops (Clare was super). All in all, a "Food Network Star" quality restaurant.

Very cute place. The service was awesome. The food is very good. My burger was good and their onion rings are homemade not frozen. My husband's Buffalo grilled chicken salad was not that great looking for the price.

First and last time here. I will start off by saying the service was good. We sat at the bar and were well taken care of. The reason for the one star is based off the high prices and subpar food. We were charged $16 for a Kentucky Mule with Makers. Incredible. I had a margarita and had to order a double to get it to actually taste like it had tequila in it the second time. The food was subpar for a $100 meal. It’s a cute restaurant located downtown. Pretty bummed we didn’t like it more.

Been a while since we had eaten at 101. Wow - the prices have really gone up and the portion sizes have gone down. For $20 it was a very small piece of salmon on the salmon plate. Sweet potato was not even an entire potato, it was 1/3 of one. Chips were hard as a rock. Grilled chicken sandwich and hamburger were good. Proabably won't go back for the amount of money we spent.

Very clean place. Waiter was professional and attentive. The food was outstanding. Highly recommend swinging by here if you are near Mocksville, NC!!

The night was pleasant enough to eat outside. However, the other customers were not so considerate. Through no fault of the establishment, we had to ask them to please not congigate at our table being loud and bumping our chairs. I also had to return my tea because of lipstick around the entire glass. The gentleman who brought me a new tea stated the dishwasher can not touch the lipstick on the glasses 🤦‍♀️. Yuk! Check all the glasses! the food was not too bad. Would have used less sauce on my Reuben and the fish sandwiches because it made them soggy.

Been here a handful of times. Their sandwiches are delicious as are the pub chips with ranch dressing. Service is prompt and curteous. I'll be back!

Visited on Sat 12/9 around 1-2 pm. Seated right away and our orders were taken. Food was DELICIOUS!
