I went here on a weekday afternoon and the service was slow and terrible. I had to ask for iced tea 3x, and the tea was hot - so I had to ask for ice every time the tea was brought out. The place wasn’t even busy, but it was over 45 min for simple wings and a burger. Then we told the waitress that the Sprite didn’t taste right, so she brought water - and never brought out a Replacement Sprite but charged me for it . That’s the other thing that’s super annoying- you only get to see an itemized receipt after you pay. Forget arguing the over charge because you’re no longer of importance to them and vanish even more than they did before. I doubt I would return. The games were fun, but super expensive, especially for a family of 6. Definitely not family friendly. Also, we went a separate time and 3 of the 4 drinks we wanted were “out of stock”. C’mon- you’re a bar for Pete’s sake. What kind of bar runs out of alcohol??

If I could give this place a negative -100 stars I would… This Dave and Buster's in Modesto was an absolutely bizarre experience, and I can safely say I won't be returning. The security guards there were not just weird, but downright disrespectful and appeared to be acting strangely. My little sister and I were visiting with our parents, and we briefly stepped out into the mall. As we returned, we noticed the security guards were watching us closely. When we tried to re-enter, a male security guard greeted us with an unsettling smile and demanded to see our IDs. We were taken aback, thinking it might be a joke at first, but things quickly turned serious when we asked for clarification. We attempted to return to our parents, but he blocked our way and started asking us to call our parents. We were extremely confused as he repeatedly claimed we couldn't come in. Then a female security guard joined in, insisting that we couldn't be at the bar. Strangely, there was no bar in our vicinity, and we had no intention of going to one. They continued to provide conflicting information, even though it was evident they had watched us leave. It felt like they were conspiring against us and their behavior appeared biased. Encountering "Karen" behavior was something I never expected. At this point, I'm truly lost for words. The entire experience was mind-boggling. The lady security guard's actions were uncomfortable and nerve-wracking, as she touched me inappropriately. I can't emphasize enough how much more there is to explain, and you would grasp the situation better if I could provide all the details. Those security guards are super weird and creepy, like they're straight out of a sci-fi movie. I'm never setting foot in this Dave & Buster's again. And the rules about kids not being allowed? Seriously, who even knew that was a thing? We come here to have a good time, not read a rulebook. This whole situation was just plain scary. If I had the chance, I'd sue for sure. 🙅‍♀️ I can't believe those bizarre security guards were stopping me and my sister from reaching our parents. The lady guard even got all touchy-feely – seriously creepy stuff. I don't know if she's got some issues, but it's sickening. And as for the food, don't even get me started. It's downright disgusting. I'd say, skip this place for a meal. Go eat somewhere else, anywhere else. The food was just... YUCK! 😬🤢 In addition to the security issues, the food was a disappointment, with both quality and taste falling far below expectations.

The food in this place was Amazing hats off to the chef ! I enjoy a good Keto meal and the grilled chicken protein bowl was to die for! Seriously Great place to catch a football game with many huge screens while your kids run wild and spend your money. We had a party of 21 the food was great the service was great. We will be back It is a little loud You expect that when you go Video games and screaming kids We all enjoyed our rainy day inside here at Dave and Busters

Visited for the first time and the food was horrible. I ordered a well done burger that was pink inside, had to send that back. The Voodoo Pasta was horrible my daughter took one bite and had to send that back. The creole shrimp dip had too much bread crumbs on it even the server was shocked. I would add photos, but they took the plates. I think the only decent thing that came out right was the fish and chips and the salad. I will only be back to have my kids play games, but not to dine.

Service is hit or miss but the food is good. The drink menu is amazing especially during happy hour. And of course the arcade games are what really brings us in. They also have a bunch of TV's everywhere. And they even show UFC and other PPVs.

Great place for the whole family. Food was average. I would go back for the fun, not for the food. We spent 350 on games and food. We stayed for 3 hours.

Updating my review because the recent times I've gone it's been great. Games are fun plus free game play on app. Bartender that works between 12-1 tuesday has been nice and helpful both times I've been there. Manager during this time is nice as well. Seems that this Dave and busters is better now since the reviews are more positive. Wednesdays are half of yay!

We went to check out the place, but we decided to eat while the kids played. The food is pretty good. The Korean sticky ribs are very good, and the salads too. The service is good and food is very affordable.

I like this Dave and Busters. We stopped here on our way home from Velejo. And this was on our way home in Fresno. We like like this Dave and Busters better than. The one in River Park Fresno because it's bigger, has more games, more space to sit, bigger TVs, and the staff was very friendly and engaged with us. Did I mention the food was good. It took a while to come, but it was worth it, the food was very fresh and good. We love this Dave and Busters.
