This place is in a V-Shape to 3 major highways. Vehicle noises all day. I had 3 suitcases. No elevator. Was placed on 2nd floor. I was totally exhausted after spending 8 hrs in the airport which made my climb worse. Across the hwy was a train track. Before I fell asleep, 3 trains passed and blew the horn in front the hotel. Behind the track was a dark lumber yard. Very unsatisfied

Stayed at this location different times during the year, the rooms are clean but the beds are firm which I prefer a softer bed. Service is super good. Nice and accommodating. Location is good too if your traveling it's right off the freeway with restaurants and gas stations a minute away.

We had trouble sleeping several nights due to the heavy canabis smoke in the air outside our room. Overall, the staff was responsive with generl.issues they could control. The rooms were okay. Our room had an issue with the floorboards not being tight enough and dust coming up between the them whenever we walked on the floor. The pool and hot tub were nice. Hot tub was a great temperature.

Came up to do some wine tasting visit some relatives, brought the kids they loved it. great staff! the breakfast for what it is is not bad at all. the waffles are always fresh the sausages good, the juice is fine the coffee in the lobby is pretty decent they have a steam room and a sauna and a cool gym off the sauna conveniently located off of the freeway and near some great restaurants all in all completely acceptable although there are some very loud trains nearby but that adds to the ambience.

Great if you love the sound of trains throughout the night and early morning. That and other noisy guests. I'll bring a tent next time I'm in Modesto.

Nice and clean hotel, but very close to the high way and trains, so if you are a sensitive sleeper, I wouldn’t recommend. The noises are very loud. Otherwise is nice and remodelled

Very nice room and good breakfast selections. Staff was also very helpful. Just be prepared for the noise from the train tracks and freeway on either side.

We were suppose to stay here for 2 nights but only stayed for 1 due to the loud noises from the highway and railroad tracks. This property sits between the main highway and a set of railroads tracks which causes and extreme amount of noise ALL night! The staff was very friendly and the room (without the noise) was very nice and spacious. Price was great but if you're traveling and need sleep don't stay here.

Beware. This hotel did the job for staying overnight in the area in a pinch but it was not ideal. Very loud being set in between an always busy freeway and very active train tracks, the bathroom had a pincher bug issue, and mold both in and out of the tub. The beds were shockingly uncomfortable (think old mattress on a tin box) the floors were so dirty that after walking around the bottoms of your feet were stained. Upon check out & asked about our stay I mentioned the bugs and the bed being uncomfortable but nothing else & then get charged for damage to linens & hand towels, coincidence? I think not. How does using bed linens and towels in the manner they are supposed to be used (to sleep on and dry off, nothing else) causes damage is beyond my comprehension. Waiting to speak to a manager. Just be warned, budget hotels trying to get those extra bucks. Wasn’t comfortable, clean, or ethical so take your chances. Will say the breakfast was alright but that’s about it. Edited to add reply to response below: we have contacted you directly multiple times and keep being told we will receive a call back but have not yet.

Didn't have any issues with Service but the tub was rusted and the noise from the freeway, was the worst. I couldn't believe how loud it was. I unfortunately would rather sleep in my car than there.

Rooms were very nice. Charged extra for my pet which was fine no problem with that. But after a couple of days was told we had to go because of our dog. 8yr old bulldog that basically sleep most of the time. She doesn't even bark. Although we counted 5 other dogs that were staying at the hotel. I was rudely told they are talking about our dog not those other dogs. Clearly discrimination my lawyer agrees.

There is a railroad RIGHT across the street from this property. The train went by every 1-2 hours throughout the night- honking and chugging. Freight and passenger. So loud! And the beds (that were comfy mattresses and yet fragile feeling frames) shook as if it were a 5.0 earthquake. The pictures on the wall shook and we're all awake mad that we chose this place. We should have realized something was up when the front desk offered free earplugs. The walls are paper thin. I heard our neighbors phone ringing and heard everyone talking as they walked by. Bottom line: We got very little sleep and will never return. The hotel building is very cute, the breakfast was decent and the rooms were weird (dirty hardwood floor. You can feel every crumb they left), and note: there are no black out curtains. I recommend you pay extra for a different place if you want to sleep!

King bed, big room a desk and a little couch with sliding table the bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows, bath towels good condition water pressure in shower was perfect and there is a microwave and fridge. Breakfast is included, I never had the chance to take advantage of so can't comment but it had the set up for hot food and a pancake maker also a small fridge with milk and yogurt. The only negative is it sits between the always noisy freeway and train tracks that has a train coming thru horns blowing, 100+ cars every hour, so if you sleep light or want to sleep at all heads up this will be an issue. They do try to negate that with double pane windows and shutters instead of curtains, which is appreciated. Every employee I came in contact with was very friendly and helpful and much appreciated. I will be back when I'm in town for work.

The rooms/breakfast/wifi/pool were all decent for the price, but the location is what makes this hotel a 1 star. It is sandwiched between train tracks and the highway. Trains roll by at high speed and blow their horns regularly. That combined with semi's using their loud compression brakes regularly on the highway make this hotel EXTREMELY noisey to the point it is difficult to sleep. Oh did I mention the whole hotel noticeably shakes when the train goes by? Yeah, that actually happens. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone despite the competitive room pricing.

This hotel is clean and has friendly hotel staff. Parking lot is spacious. And didn't see any transients in the area. Rooms are clean and seem to have be remodeled recently. The swimming pool is gated and clean Aswell along with sitting areas to lounge. Hot breakfast and fresh coffee in the morning. Close to the shopping center to grab necessities. The train did pass once at 11pm and around 4. Couple minutes. Besides that it was great

I had an excellent stay at the Baymont hotel. My room was excellent, the swimming pool was beautiful and I had it all to myself, the hot tub too. They have a top notch exercise room and the breakfast rocked! Scrambled eggs and sausage, cereal, bagels, waffles! Mmmm, and fruit. A+++ All the hard working, very friendly employees deserves a big thank you and five stars...I will definitely be back. "Tami" room 233

The rooms were very clean. The T.V. was hard to work. You have to be in a certain place in the room. The maids only clean every 3rd day. So if you want clean towels or coffee you have to ask. It's close to shopping, restaurants and fuel. It's also very close to the freeway and the train tracks. At least three trains though out the night that blew horns and woke me up. We asked for a handicapped accessible room. The shower bar was broken and removed and the inside door latches didn't latch properly. Room 107. Breakfast was good. Staff was good. I personally would not stay here again only because of the train noise.

The room was super clean and the bed was comfy... I had a very comfortable stay. I look forward to staying again. The breakfast was your typical continental style & it was actually good.

Beware DO NOT stay here! Very noisy due to trains going by all day & night! Sheets & towels are so dirty & they have the audacity to charge you for damaged towels! The bed that I slept on was surprisingly comfortable but the other bed was so creaky & annoying! I would give 0 stars if I could & do not recommend this hotel at all. Absolutely will not be returning!
