I was genuinely surprised with this restaurant because usually when you go to a trendy Mexican restaurant, the food can be a little disappointing. I guarantee you this place is as authentic as they come! not only are they trendy, has a beautiful aesthetic, the food is absolutely amazing and authentic. The price is absolutely worth the flavor put into this food. I’ve never had lamb flautas, that was a different flavor than I’m used to but it was good. The staff is absolutely wonderful and helpful with the menu, The bathrooms were well-kept. 10/10

I love that this restaurant is named after the one and only Maria Felix, La Doña. This was such a fun restaurant to eat at. It was exactly what my husband and I were looking for date night and it definitely passed the vibe check. From the Margaritas to the Molcajete and let’s not forget the fresh chips and salsa, all were on point! The Patio dining at night gave it such a great ambiance. The staff was attentive, friendly and fast. We definitely will be back our next Denver trip!

We had a great experience at La Dona Mezcaleria. My buddy has been coming here for years, so I had to give it a shot. The dining area was quaint but inviting with a lively atmosphere and vibrant decor. Our waiter was friendly, and went above and beyond to explain the menu and what to expect. For appetizers, their homemade chips and salsa were excellent with the right amount of “kick”. They specialize in Mole, so I tried the Mole Verde with a margarita, which were both excellent and I’d highly recommend. I noticed they had an outdoor patio, which I’m sure would be a great option in the summer. I was pleased with my experience and would definitely come back!

Biggest Mezcal selection in Colorado. Cocktails were excellent, staff were timely and professional. Lengua tacos were flavorful and juicy. Mole was rich and complex. Definitely one of the best Mexican spots in Denver.

Drinks are lovely, and the chef's special was amazing! I know it changes daily, but I would trust it to be good any time.

Love the atmosphere here and the tacos are sooooo good! I am usually not a huge tequila or mezcal person but the cocktails here are on point and the different notes of mezcal from diverse areas really compliment them- you can try a flight! The staff are a lot of fun and very kind/helpful.

La Doña (formerly Palenque) has been one of my top 5 favorite restaurants for years. They have the best food, people and atmosphere. Everything on the menu is superb and well worth it. Get the sauce flight and make your mouth happier than it ever has been.

I got an al pastor chimichanga. It was ok because I feel like it could have been fried longer. It was like soft fried. The tortilla didn't have the crunch and golden brown look that I was expecting. The ceviche was excellent. My guy got the carne asada burrito and he said it was alright. You scan the QR code for the menu and there are 2 codes to scan to see what they serve. The server was very nice and helpful. Michelada was delicious also. Parking is on the street and seating is either covered outdoors with heaters or indoors, where we sat and the atmosphere was chill.

The food is Smokey and delicious. I could eat a queso fundido by myself. The service was a little slow (it was pretty busy on a Saturday night) and we had a party of 5 and a baby. We were seated in the covered patio area which was cold, so we didn't enjoy that part. They should have more heaters and turn off the blowing cold air. That being said I thought the food was above par for Denver Mexican food. Everything tasted fresh and was really good.

Food was great. The 4 of us got different things and we were all happy. We also had Dominic teach us more about Mescal (we are Tequila connoisseurs) and we tried a Mezcal flight. All good! Parking is tough as it is street parking.

Cocktails and food were delicious. Sat outside on their wonderful patio and had great service from Dom who was quite a character. My wife and I will be going back again soon!

My fiancé and I had a great first time experience at La Doña! This is definitely the place for mezcal lovers! Our server, Dom, was extremely knowledgeable on all things agave spirits and picked out an amazing selection for our mezcal flight. I also want to give another server, Mariah, a shout out for her exceptional service! 10/10 drinks, food, and service :)

Loved every minute I was in there. Sat at the bar, food & service was splendid. I dont say that about many places. I had a mocktail that was STELLAR!! Thanks y’all for a great time. Bar tender was Ethan I think? He was superb & sincere. Thanks Ethan!

La Dona has excellent service, top notch bar and their food is delish. I was there last night with my aunt and uncle and the service team, was so wonderful. They let us sit at a table that was supposed to be closed (because they were short staffed) since it would be easier for my family to hear and less precarious that two 80-year-olds at a high top table. Alan was amazing! He was patient with the questions and the less than ideal hearing. Their 'short-staffed' experience was better than many places' 'fully staffed' experience. Thanks so much - especially Alan - for accommodating us and being so great!

If you're here and Haley is here, you're in for a night of fun. The food is great already. My husband and I have been here several times already, but the icing on the cake for this bomb review was Haley. A complete gem, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. She got us to branch out, and I regret nothing. So again, if you decide to come here and Haley is your server, just know you'll be enjoying your evening ✨️
