Very beautiful town, the most beautiful place in the whole Gran Canaria. The port is like a natural museum with all kinds of different fishes in the water. The beach is small and crowded, but the town is definitely worthy to visit.

You can get here by bus from other towns easily. From the bus station to the beach, it’s around 5-10 mins walk. The beach can get very very busy, if you want to rent sunbeds, go early. The beach is ideal for kids. There are public toilets next to the beach. Plenty of restaurants, cafes, gelaterias around. Supermarket 2 mins walking distance. Would recommend making a reservation to a restaurant for the evening and spending the whole day here. The sand is natural here. If you prefer white sand, check out Amadores and Anfi del Mar.

Beautiful beach! A lot of entertainment activities. the beach was super clean, and so was the water. There also were a lot of cute restaurants with specialties of the canaries to eat in, with the amazing view on the beach.

Probably not for you if you like a lot of night life and partying! A beautiful twee resort with ample restaurants and bars to enjoy. A small beach area and picturesque harbour both surrounded by a good choice of places to eat and drink. Friday is market day and although hectic, well worth a visit.

We loved our visit to this beach. Having spent the afternoon wandering around Puerto de Mogan old town and then visiting the mirador viewpoint for some awesome views (see separate pages for reviews), we decided to chill out on the beach with some ice creams we bought in a shop nearby. There are lots of facilities nearby so definitely a good place if you want to get something to eat or drink after being on the beach. It's close enough that one member of the party could pop to get some drinks/ice creams/snacks whilst the others stayed on the beach, but everything is so nice and clean that it doesn't feel like the town is encroaching. This is everything a beach town should be! There's parking nearby too, which is a bonus. The beach itself is beautiful golden (imported) sand. You can hire sunbeds with parasols as on a majority of the beaches on the island, but you can also sit on the sand with a towel which is what we did. The beach is in a little cove, so it's sheltered and the waves are gentle. We didn't go swimming as we didn't bring a change of dry clothes, but we did go paddling as deep as we could without getting our clothes soaked! The sea was lovely and clear and we could see lots of little fish in the water, we whiled away a good amount of time just looking at them. A good spot for snorkelling. Would definitely recommend this beach: Playa de Mogan was our joint favourite with Playa de Amadores. Great for all ages.

A nice beach with an enclosed swimming harbour. Part of the beach is for sunbeds and sun brollies. The other for those okay with a towel on the sand.

Nice small beach, with some watersport rent, some cafes, public restrooms, and calm water.

Really nice beach, great water, cool area. The negative is the surrounding aspects - like toilet having no toilet paper and the beach getting a bit crowded. Beautiful views though - so you probably want to deal with the minuses here :)
