If you know that this is a saltwater park, before going here, this is definitely a 5-star review! There is loads of different slides, both for kids to try and for adults with a hang of adrenaline to get a rush on. You can get food here, you can just chill in the water or use on of the sunbeds to get your tan on. If you enjoy water parks, do not hesitate to go here and have loads of fun!

Okay, so I booked this water park yesterday for my wife, 2 kids and myself. I thought after Aquapark being 135 euro, the 40 euro charge for this park was excellent value! Until we started reading these reviews... My wife and kids were terrified of coming here incase they got sick after hearing some of the horror stories! I said, let's just try it.. We got here, and straight away we looked at the pool etc and although there's a couple of tiny tiles missing from the base of the pool (which isnt an issue atall) the pool itself is really clean. Yes, the slides hurt your back very slightly if you lay on your back quite rigid but again, not really an issue. Regarding the salt water, its exactly the same as the sea. We just showered everytime we got out of the pool as there's loads of showers dotted round the pool with fresh water. They also have a foam disco around half 3 which is fun! So overall we had a great day out and we're all so glad the reviews didn't put us off. Give it a go, you won't be disappointed 👍🏻

This place is ok, great selection of flumes and slides that cater for the majority. Note - the water is sea salt water so be prepared. Prices are reasonable, €17 for adults €5 for children. It is a little dated & tired. There are missing tiles in the pools, some of the steps are broken so you have to be quite careful when walking and swimming. You can leave the park & re-enter, just be sure to get your hand stamped. There are lockers available for use at €3 for the day with a €5 refundable deposit. Plenty of sunbeds. Can hire parasol too but we didn't bother. There is a taxi rank & bus stop approximately 5 minute walk from the entrance. We went as a family of 4 and enjoyed the experience.

Brilliant park my little girl 5 loved it and enough for older children/adults. It is not in pristine condition bu they appear to be working on it. Overall good value for money and staff are excellent.

Great medium sized water park, yes it is slightly dated but everything was in good working order and the staff were excellent (I list my iwatch on one of the chute and the staff stopped the chute and one lifeguard dived in and found it) I couldn’t have been more grateful. There is a great selection of chutes for all ages and bravery. Excellent value at 38 euros for 2 adults and 1 child from 10am - 6pm. Good selection of food snacks and drinks at fair prices. Overall great day out, only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was that the floor was very rough and after 8 hours your feet do start to feel it. Well worth a visit.

It was a great fun day out. We are in Princess Taurito Hotel, so it was just 5 minutes on foot to get there. We bought a day ticket and were able to come back to the hotel for lunchtime. Just inform the staff you want to come back and they will put a stamp on your hand. We reentered without any hassle. My 14 year-old son was happy about the slides. I can honestly recommend it.

I was in both Water Parks in GC and this one is better. - Medium size water park, smaller but better maintained then competitor. - Perfect for family with kids at any age. - A lot different size slides. - Plenty of space for sunbathing and it is also possible to find a quiet spot - Located in valley so it is jot so windy here. - 40 euro for family 2+2 - You can go out and in any time (you get stamp) The negatives: - water is of course salty, here it was very salty. - i crashed once into kid at the end of slide. Don’t trust the live guards who let people go in slide, make your own risk assessment and calculations, better wait few extra seconds.

Superb water park. Not overly known about so very little wait to use the rides. Also you can leave and re-enter meaning you can go to the beach, local restaurant or even pop to the supermarket (all of which are very close) to bring in your own food and drink. Only 4 star as it could do with a bit of a tidy up.

It's OK, but the cheaper of the two water parks on the island for a reason. If travelling with younger children be aware a lot of it is very deep. There are kids areas at either end though. Also a big watch out is that it's salt water, lots of people unaware and complained on the day. Lastly the water slides are old and if you lay down you feel every single ridge on your bum/back which is quite painful. Kids had a good day out though

A well organised water park . Lifeguards on top of slides making sure people go at the right time. No long queues for rides. Salt water pool so if you don't like salt water I wouldn't go. The condition is what it let's it down . There is tiles missing from the sides , walls , floors everywhere you have to be so careful where you walk to make sure u don't cut yourself. Maintenance needed on the place badly. If the condition of the areas in and outside water was well maintained. This would have been a 5 star.

Really good slides for the teens as well as for the younger ones. Food available so you can easily spend a full day here. Be aware that the water is salty.

Specifically the food was bad and the customer service of the staff inside the restaurant was bad as well and they didnt understand much english or german and had no idea what we wanted to tell them. We complained about the food and the fact we got served the wrong dishes, specifically we ordered chicken fingers for our baby but got croquettes instead, because they don’t know what chicken fingers are, despite them having it on the menu. That means they either have them and served us the wrong dish or they have the translation into English wrong.

Plenty slides for adults or children. Place a little bit tired but would definitely go back.

Big pools and a nice number of tubes/slides etc. Not overwhelmingly busy and clean when I went with a group of like minded sunbathing swimmers. Water was salty and wet and the sun hot. Nice to see they take safety seriously, but without being total ejits about it. The car park is adequate, but don't wash the car before you go. It's either very dusty or its slowly collapsing ... 🤔

Great location, nice staff, just tired and dated. Unfortunately the floor is cracked and in disrepair so hurts your feet a bit. Clean and tidy but (in winter) cold (salt) water. Slides good but again tired and in need of surface repair (everyone got constantly stuck) as the slides have lost their coating. Some slides closed

It's better than Aqualand, in my opinion, and considerably cheaper. They're salt water pools, which I'm fine with, better for your skin than chlorine. The chap working on the entrance was lovely. However, the lady at the pool bar wasn't very friendly. Lots of close, secure, cheap parking, food menu is basic buy tasty, hot food and a good portion.

Cheap and cheerful. Alot cheaper than the alternative water park. Needs updating abit. But still decent enough for a few hours. Smallish queues as well. Free sunbeds. Would recommend

Needs definitely full renovation. Water was bit gold and there is no place where to change clothes. Price is not bad but slides is not so good condition anymore. You can feel all joints clearly. Also showers all quite poor too. Maybe better if you are located hotel near by. Lot of fun for kids but still I can't recommend.

The place has surely seem better days. Especially the salty sea water wears the installations. However compared with the options of "water fun actions" around here probably the best choice if you are looking at the fun/money ratio

Great for a day out of you can get used to the salt water. Seen a lot of kids complaining to there parents about it. There were lots of bugs in the water so needede a bit more cleaning. If it was fresh water then it would get another star.

  • 2/5 Julie M. 1 year ago on Google
Positives - not too pricey, plenty of slides for all age ranges, pool is massive, lots of available sunbeds, you can leave and return if you want within the day, making it a good option if all inclusive within Playa taurito. Negatives - now, for my family they far outweighed any positives. The pool was not maintained. There appeared to be no filter systems around the outside of it, so the pool was dirty with bugs, flies and God knows what else, debris from the trees, used plasters, nappy bags! And we literally had to walk whilst moving anything and everything in your way. We knew the water was saltwater, but my I think changing to freshwater would improve the whole experience. We did a few slides and couldn't stand the burning feeling in our eyes and noses. We stayed about an hour and had to go sadly.

We visited aqualand in Maspalomas twice during our holiday un GC and had great time. Girls wished to go to the aquapark again on our last day of holidays and we tried Lago Taurito water park as it was cheaper and we did not want to spend again the whole day on the slides. We had a really bad experience… There were actually not so many people in the park as it was easy to find a vacant sunbed, but the waiting time for the rides was much to long… they also only have one tube and you need to wait on the bottom of the slide for it for long time. Also cleanliness of the water seemed questionable as there was brown foam floating in the water somewhere… If you want to do the aquapark in GC, my recommendation would be definitely the one in Maspalomas… and if you want to do it twice buy the cheaper ticket for next visit before leaving the park… the price for adults is less than Lago Taurito…

Cheap and great for kids. It’s a bit old and the slides can hurt your back, but for the money it’s good.

We had this included with our hotel, very quiet before lunch time, lots of sun loungers, some with shades, cushions and extra shades were a few euros. The pool is massive with plenty of space, 3 or 4 open areas where you can swim, a lazy river, big slides and a smaller area with slides for younger kids. The big slides are pretty impressive, even most of the adults ended up screaming on the drop..... There are toilets, showers and changing facilities and food, whichbwe didn't end up using as we were right next to our hotel.

We absolutely loved this place since 2017. Unfortunately, this year, there was no buffet, no bed cushions. Obviously this is probably caused by Covid. Not as awesome as it was, which is sad. Hopefully, they will reintroduce the buffet and other things in the near future.

The water was dirty, with cigarette butts and plastic in it. There are several places where a lot of tiles are missing. Maintainece works were being done while visitors were in the pool and the workers cleaned their utensils in the water. The toilets are quite disgusting. The only good things were that there were enough sunbeds, the slides were ok and the entry price is decent. However, I know I won't be visiting this water park again.

Perfekt place with kids. But not everything was working, maybe because of the winter time.

A bit of peeling paint and loose tiles at the back of the season. Lots of slides and not much queueing when we were there. The life guards seemed efficient and the site feels secure enough. Sometimes a queue to get in.
