Stayed over for overnight and spa treatment. The food was great, spa treatments were amazing. Truly tranquil and rejuvenating. Our therapists Alice and Yvonne were fantastic. We upgraded to luxury room. Great value for money. Thank you for an unforgettable time.

Wow !!! What an absolutely amazing, romantic and relaxing experience. This is a hidden treasure not too far from us. My wife and I chose the Cuddles for us package and we were welcomed and treated like royalty. From the time we entered the gates and greeted by a friendly lady and an adorable blue eyed Husky waiting for us and kindly showing us were to park and go for our welcome drink and breakfast to the minute we left we were treated with friendliness like a family. Had some good friendly conversations with the staff and manager. Annemarie and the other male chef was extremely friendly and pleasant with absolutely delicious signature meals and own signature cocktails (Cherry Fizz Pop - a must) and dessert which really made you feel like their motto : " A home away from home". The massage therapists and spa treatments were wonderful, relaxing and really concentrated on giving us the best experience for the entire time. It was really good that each treatment was done in a different room with its own scenery, ambience and atmosphere which allowed us to experience the most beautiful settings in the place. The airconed room was very clean and tidy with a special sweet surprise and bubbly which made the evening and occasion even more special. Thanks Crystal Rose for a wonderful experience. Will definitely be back.

Warm welcome and check-in went smooth. The gardens are beautiful and very well maintained. The room however, could use an upgrade and a serious clean. The shower was the most upsetting. There’s nothing worse than returning to the room and wanting to take a shower and there is no hot water. The solar geyser was switched on holiday mode, so no hot water. When reported, we told there’s no one on site to assist Even though we had to manually boost the geyser, for some reason it did not solve the problem

I went on a Sunday to the spa for a full day treat. And believe me it was a treat. The breakfast was so delicious it made up for the time waiting for it. I should add they were very busy. The treatments were amazing and the therapist well trained. I have the vegetarian meal for lunch and most time that can be boring but my food was good. The only negative comment is that it was stretch out. After each treatment I have to wait 15minutes. I think if you were a couple it wouldn't matter but I was alone. I just love that you went from one room to a different one for each treatment. I will be back but will try to arrange to do it all in a morning

The masseuse I had was aimlessly massaging me, she had no intention in actually trying to massage. Her and her friend sounded like they were gossiping about us. She had no actual technique, and the awkwardness was horrible. I was not very comfortable. The food was mediocre. There was a lot of time wasted on waiting for the preparation of the services, and sometimes it felt like the treatments were rushed. The head massage was horrible, she had only done two different things.The robes felt like a very cheap material. The temperature control was terrible, it was hot and stuffy and they had no intention in trying to accommodate for the heat. The lounging area was so uncomfortable, the pillows didn't even fit the already hard plastic chair. The doors in the bathroom for the stalls were touching the ceiling, leaving a huge gap under neath, and it was frosted glass so you could see the person behind it very well. The only plus to this spa venue was actually the husky they had. very cute The price we paid was not worth the experience. Edit: After the head massage, my hair was so badly knotted my hair could stand.

We had an appointment for 12:30, arrived at 12:15 where we were seated in their restaurant to sign our massage preference sheets. We were given welcome drinks, which were some sort of pros or a weak concentrate served in a short glass, size of a large shooter glass. We were then told we would only start at 1pm as the ladies were all at lunch and we would have to wait till they were finished eating and they would attend to us. We made use of the pool while we waited whilst the staff all stand there and watch you. Whilst the other couples also waiting watch as the waiting area is next to the pool. I requested some tea and cake unfortunately they didn’t have any cake or biscuits or anything to go with the tea. We were then led to our room. There was a slow cooker plugged on the floor leading to our room for the massage that we had to avoid. Th AC was way too high but we were not offered to turn it down. We received the massages which I must say were amazing. The ladies were great. The venue was a little disappointing as I was expecting a tranquil environment but it’s more of a house with a well groomed lawn that was turned into a spa with some minimal trees in the back. Highlight of the day was the massage which is why I gave 3 stars.

Being mid week there weren't many guests so we were treated very well. The manager was very sweet and really did her best to make us welcome. The spa treatments were average but I hate complaining because the staff were soo wonderful. I will definitely go there again. The food was also average but once again service was wonderful. I think with a bit of training this place could be a five star. The staff really have the right attitude

We absolutely loved every moment of it!!! 😁😁😁 Me and my girlfriend were celebrating our One year anniversary and it was well worth the trip. The service is excellent and the food and drinks are really good. Big Shout out to Sharon and Annetta for making us feel welcome, and we'll taken care of. They gave us their undevided attention and tended to every one of our needs. Their attention to detail is also one to be commended. Upon our return, we would love to have Sharon and Annetta host us again

What a wonderful experience. All the staff were amazing and so friendly. The food was delicious and the chef came out to chat to the guests to make sure they were happy with their meal - wonderful to see. Anna and Prescilla gave us the most amazing treatments and looked after us from the time we arrived to the time left - thank you ladies. Crystal Rose Lodge and Spa is truly a gem among local accommodation options. During my recent stay, I was blown away by the comfort of the beds in our room - I have never slept so soundly! It was an amazing family experience. Staff are polite and friendly,food is delicious and fresh.Rooms are clean with beautiful garden paths and pool with play area for the kids. Unfortunately for me i did not experience the spa this time round, but was recommended to do so by some very happy and radiant clients. Management felt like family and it felt like home. Easy online booking procedure, prompt response via email with invoice & menu. Our therapists Prudence & Lana(I heard Lorna)😁 were very professional & attentive, we enjoyed all 3 of our treatments. They checked on the pressure of the massages & our comfort on numerous occasions, highly recommend them😁 We used the indoor and outdoor swimming pools, which were very clean & refreshing after our pamper session. Lovely filter coffee, tea & iced water available. Beautiful gardens & water features to add to the ambience. Will definitely return again 😁

The therapist did a phenomenal job however the food was tasteless and there is no fans or aircons. Our visit in the middle of a heatwave resulted in multiple breaks to get something to cool down

Me and my husband celebrated our 7year wedding anniversary at Crystal Rose and I am speechless!! We had the best experience ever!!! From the food to the treatments it was all out of this world. Well done to the whole team working so hard to make this spa the best!

From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed. The staff, the owners, everyone made our stay special. The chef came to us after every meal to check if everything was ok. He is an amazing chef, the food was absolutely fantastic. The Spa treatments was great, we felt so relaxed and managed to fall asleep with all of the treatments

The two ladies who did the massage were helpful and attentive. Thanks to them for making the afternoon Unfortunately, I didn't find the overall service great or the place clean. For a quick massage after the week on a Friday or Saturday it does the job On a side note, we had to wait 10-15 minutes outside the gate because no one was manning the intercom which was slightly irritating.

Check-in went smooth. The grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. The rooms could use an update and a deep clean. When we booked on Expedia, the listing for the room stated free breakfast. We received two free breakfasts and then were made to pay for the third because ‘it wasn’t included’ all of a sudden. Be aware of this when booking here. The ‘manager’ of the lodge was overbearing towards us as guests and very condescending towards the other staff. Instead of treating an employee with respect she thought it would be best to belittle the employee in front of us, the guests. It was uncomfortable for myself and my husband. As a suggestion, maybe have procedures to do certain things in the restaurant in order to mitigate any issues that could arise, instead of making fun of employees in front of guests. The most pleasant part of our experience at Crystal Rose Lodge and Spa was the 1 hour massage and the dog on site, Damian.

The 2 stars are an average of the beautiful place, great breakfast, and a horrible spa experience. 1. Redeeming our birthday gift through the steps on the voucher was not easy, had to use alternative means to secure a spot. The lady was however helpful. 2. The rooms need air-conditioning for different temperatures 3. The main shocker was the use of petroleum jelly from head to toe through all the treatments. There was no option for any oils, or just the relaxing feel of basic spa oil aroma. 4. For lunch we were led into a dining room packed with people who were not part of the day spa but a separate event. Our entrance in gowns was quite amusing to some that they had to take videos of us and had to ask to sit outside instead. It was both embarrassing and uncomfortable. 5. One of the masseuse appeared to be learning from the other. I had a good experience but my partner did not get value for money.

I had the most Amazing Experience at Crystal Rose Lodge. The food is Absolutely Delicious. The Spa Treatments was just fantastic and the Staff and Owners are the Most Hospitable and amazing people. My company used their conference facilities and accommodation. Rooms are spacious and clean. Conference area is welcoming with classy setup and formal decor. The refreshments include tea, coffee, juice and eats that are available for the whole day. My conference attendees enjoyed this service very much and it is something that most catering businesses don't provide for, for a full day. The restaurant on the premises serves delicious dinner and breakfast choices. I would suggest that the lunch options and portions for conferencing be reevaluated as to cater for the needs of the group present. Service delivery was excellent right through our stay. I will definitely use them again.

Certain things did not impress me. The food was not the best at all. On the accommodation front, I felt like the were too many unnecessary steps that always tripped me such as a step between the bathroom and the room we used. For the massage, I felt like the oils were not enough.
