Advocate Clinic at Walgreens

Urgent care center

😠 Those people that gave this location a zero star are very generous. I sat and waited an hour and a half for a sinus infection when another customer had been waiting for three hours. They told me it was viral and to use over the counter products. Really, they didn't want to see me due to how late it... People often mention nurse, minutes, time,

Those people that gave this location a zero star are very generous. I sat and waited an hour and a half for a sinus infection when another customer had been waiting for three hours. They told me it was viral and to use over the counter products. Really, they didn't want to see me due to how late it was. Even the triage nurse complained about how slow the doc was. I dont know about you all, but with a triage nurse on board i would think it might go a bit faster moving your patients. Well, I had to return after a month waiting an hour. They tell me it is too late to take me, 25 minutes before closing time. I couldn't believe it. Really, people are sick and need to get in, sitting there waiting while it states "open" and you turn your customers away! They say it takes 25 minutes to enter a patient. I offered to enter my own info. Well, they didnt have time to take me, but they sure didnt mind arguing with me for 20 minutes. No help! Not to mention no computer system to show where you're at in the line. My vote, CVS Minute Clinic is a great experience!!!

They have an excellent staff at the Mokena Advocate / Walgreen. It took us 20 minutes to see nurse.I have no idea who the two people who went there are crying about. So they didn't open ill 9:10? They aren't employed by Walgreen. Tell me just what doctor /nurse sees you the moment you walk in? Advocate does bout as good of a job as a local small clinic

Would give 0 stars if I could, all of the other reviews are right, pack a lunch and dinner if you are planning on coming here. The photos in my review were taken at 12:36, their closed sign says they will return at 1:30 which doesn't really make sense since their other sign states they will close for 30 minutes. Nonetheless, ridiculous that there is no way of knowing when they will leave or return for that matter.

I brought my five year old with a complex medical history here on a Saturday. I would typically only use my daughter’s providers but she needed to be seen before Monday. The NP, Trisha Brown, was kind, quick, efficient and did an excellent assessment. My daughter is already feeling better and she gave me some good insight to other medical issues to explore. Excellent experience. I would not hesitate to go back and am very appreciative.

If there's 0 star thats how I'm going to grade this place "0". We went there just for immunizations and went 10 minutes early. They suppose to be opened at 9am. The lady in the green scrub did not arrived till 9:10 and that's the time we signed in. The lady in the green scrub, instead of staying to help us if we have any questions, she left and went shopping inside wallgreens. I was talking to my insurance over the phone and they want to know the name of provider so they can check if its in network. I believed I knocked three times but waited for a while before I knocked again. I asked if I can get the name of the provider affiliated in the clinic. The NP stated "There's no doctor here" and I asked for her name and she's not happy to tell her name Daphnie Coleman and walked out while I still have questions because my insurance still has questions. The NP was upset that I keep knocking and she said "I'm having problem with the IT". She could have acknowledge us and explained the situation and I will understand waiting. We were there for an hour end up not getting the shots instead we went CVS minute clinic with a pleasant visit. I`m an Advocate nurse and every nurse I've ever worked with is commendable and does their job, except for this nurse Coleman at this clinic. There customer care was terrible. I will not recommend this mini clinic 20002s. Wolf road in Mokena. Please don't go there .

Second time having a bad experience here. First, after a two-minute discussion of medical history, the nurse practitioner insisted I had an autoimmune disorder other than what my (highly rescpected) rheumatologist diagnosed me with after months of triangulating symptoms. This time, the NA told my husband he needed an x-ray for a muscle spasm with a really snotty attitude. Not helpful, not medically sound advice, not a place you want to go for care.

If I could rate 0 stars I would. Why have business hours advertised when you close 4 hours early? And the best is when I call to find out if another location is open, I am told the mokena facility has a "long wait time" when in fact, nobody is even there. Good job guys.

I made an appt, 2 days early, over the phone, with a human being to have sutures removed. They asked where the stitches were and I told them in my forehead just over the eyebrow. They made the appointment for me and I filled out all of the paperwork online. They then waited until I showed up for the appt to tell me they don't remove stitches from the face. They then suggested I just go to the emergency room to have them taken out....on a Saturday!!! And of course there were no appts to be had anywhere else at such short notice.
