This pub never ceases to amaze. The prices are actually very good for the value you get. Everything is absolutely incredible quality from the food to the service to the actual building that is so beautiful and quaint. But the star of the show of course has to be the garden that they've converted to a half outdoor half indoor space with the teepees! (when sitting near the windows in the front in the summer they are open and it feels like you're outside! And yet it's so cozy and warm in the winter!) The menu changes frequently so even more of a reason to go as often as possible! You can't be disappointed with this, a must try for sure!

Manu, Archie and the team at the Queens Head always make our visit to the Queens Head absolutely perfect. From the warm smiles on arrival and the lovely conversation to the table, to the incredible decor (altered for each season!) It is absolutely perfect. The food is by far the best in any pub I have been to for a long time. I have tried many dishes and haven’t had anything I haven’t loved. Anything from the lovely starters and sharing dishes, to the steak, to the seafood risotto and not to forget the chicken burger! The chocolate mousse is also to die for. The service is second to none and Manu especially has gone above and beyond for me over the visits to ensure I have a lovely table (and the occasional glass of Prosecco!). If you are even considering going to this pub then just go and you will not regret it! If I could give 6 stars I would.

Lovely pub with great food choices. A beautiful terrace under a generous teepee tent. Attentive and friendly staff. Overall an unforgettable experience.

Amazing time and amazing meal. To be honest, it’s the first time since the start of lockdown that I’ve had a proper pub experience - I’d forgotten what it felt like. The weather - sunny and 21c didn’t hurt. We sat outside, under the tipis. Service was great, very warm and attentive. Finally, they have frozen margaritas much like what I’d seen in Savannah Georgia. They’ve stolen my idea of introducing these to the UK!

Came on a Tuesday with my family, and we were shown to a table very quickly. I had the slow braised beef short rib for main, which was delicious, and the apple and blackberry crumble for dessert, which was not quite as good but still nice! The waitress who served us had a friendly demeanour, and she was super lovely and helpful when we were ordering. We felt very welcome and looked after. I will definitely be coming back soon!

We came this pub for lunch after a morning visit to Denbies Wine Estate. The pub is very lovely decorated. It has both indoor, outdoor and an iconic tent seating. Reservations are recommended to secure your spot, especially if you want to sit outside or in the tent. We booked 2 days earlier before our visit. The food was good quality and generous in portion. We had the duck leg, quinoa burger, fish cake and fish and chips. The service was good and easy to get attention to ask for refill of water or sauces. The price was fair. With a couple starters to share, a main each and two drinks among 4 of us, we spent £21 per person. Will come back again when visits dorking next time.

Had a great evening at the Queen's Head. A little pricey but meal was absolutely fabulous and well worth the visit. Would definitely recommend a visit. Welcomes dogs too so great bonus.

The tents are a nice touch. You lost a star simply as the Beef for the Sunday roasts was very poor quality, correctly cooked but very fatty and not tender at all, all of us were the same with 5 ordered. If I was paying £10 a plate I wouldn't complain but for Sunday lunch at that price I expected a better cut. Service speed and attentiveness excellent, friendly atmosphere and waited a fair time for the food.... What a shame!

What a great place! Asked the locals what was the 'best pub' and was directed here. Great drinks selection. Nice interior. Spectacular tiered garden. Well worth a visit !

Best Pub in Dorking for food, always excellent! Can't fault the staff, food is perfect and so is the atmosphere and ambience. Steak Night on Thursday has been revamped with an excellent £30 set menu. Totally delicious! Keep doing what you're doing Queens Head. You're my local!

The place was so cosy, the service was very efficient, we never felt forgotten about, and everyone was really friendly! The food was completely delicious! We had roasts and fish and chips. The roast beef was so tender and delicious and the fish was perfect. Our son said the chips were the best he’s ever had! I would not hesitate in recommending the Queens Head to anyone and we will defiantly be back. Thank you!

We held our son’s 1st birthday party at The Queens Head, we went there after we had been at Meadowbank soft play. They were very accommodating, they allowed us to go in early at 11am to set up the under-sea-themed decorations in the teepee tent in the garden. They stored our cake for us in the fridge and provided the small plates and napkins for the cake I made. The Fish and Chips, Jerk Chicken Burger and Beef burgers were all delicious, the Mussels were massive, the kids enjoyed their Pasta too. The teepee tent had matting on the floor and my son enjoyed crawling around on it and exploring. I payed a visit a couple of times to the pub in the run up to the party, as I wanted to ask questions, add a few extra guests and make sure everything was going to run smoothly on the day, the staff there was very helpful and reassuring. It’s an amazing place! Thank you for making our son’s birthday very special!

Had amazing dinner on Saturday! The pub seemed very busy so we were glad we booked ahead. Despite it being busy, staff were great and food was really delicious. I was blown away by this chicken and chorizo dish, perfect for an autumnal day.

Little trip to Dorking from London. No idea what to expect frankly having little experience outside London. Cozy pub with a great progressive menu, starring vegan, dairy free options, and wines by the glass via coravin. Would recommend the beetroot hummus for sure. Though they need to include double the amount of pita with it. We had to order another serving of pita. The short rib was huge and may be shareable if not starving.

We went here for a Christmas dinner. The pub was warm and snug it was very clean inside but it retains lots of very old traditional feel. Table service was excellent, and the food was outstanding, specially the sprouts (which normally HATE) they were delicious. This is not a cheap pub, a pint of beer 5-6 quid, a large class of wine 12.... The four of us ate and drank well for £50 a head with the cost of living and the quality, not too unreasonable . It was good so good in fact we were tempted to ask how things had been cooked! A remarkable meal.

An excellent dining experience with superlative food but let down by the service. The pub is lovely. Really nicely decorated, feels welcoming and warm but still a sense of modernism. Great for smaller and bigger groups. The food is fantastic. Really really excellent. Had the Sunday lunch - superb. Probably one of the best I’ve had. Everything was done very well. Giving a 4 stars as the service let it down. Service was friendly and good when we had it. Otherwise it was quite inattentive and slightly frustrating. I think they just need more servers. Otherwise, highly recommend

Delicious food and great service. The only thing was that we were sat in the yurt in the garden and the table was quite sloped, meaning that you do have to be careful with drinks, so that they don't fall over.

Exceptional food, honestly really really good, will be coming back for more. The service was also brilliant, everyone was super friendly. Luckily it wasn't too busy and the tipi was heated to a comfortable temperature. The pork and cider pie was fantastic, possibly the best we've had. I don't know what was in the butter that came with the focaccia but it was delicious.

Best Mussels I've ever eaten? Was taken to the Queen's Head pub by some local friends of ours, service was wonderful - mostly younger staff but all incredibly attentive. Personally, I'm a lover of all things seafood and I ordered the whole King Prawns with coriander and garlic. Wish more seafood was prepared as simplistically as this, with bread to mop up the wonderful flavours on the plate and otherwise allowing the freshness of the ingredients shine. For main course, I ordered the Mussels with Thai Green Curry. The portion size was MASSIVE, which I couldn't have been more thrilled by. The curry sauce itself was thick and flavourful - other mussels prepared in the same way I've tried have been very watery and lacking in seasoning... Certainly not a problem here. Won't be coming to Dorking too often, just out of circumstance but if we do - we'll definitely be back.

Outdoor dining in the tent was better than expected even with temperatures in the low 50's. The food was very good. Started with focaccia which was nice although a bit greasy. For the main, I had the Cote du Boeuf. Great cook and seasoning on the meat. For the most part a good dinimg experience. It was on the expensive side and the service was terribly slow although our server was great when we did see him. May have to do with covid and getting experienced staff.
