A lot can be done about the rooms at Mole Motel especially for their prices. The rooms need upgrades to modernity. Their food is good but the wait time is about 2 hours so I'll advise you order as early as possible. Staff are friendly and ready to assist you. It's a serene environment.

Awesome service I honestly enjoyed every minute of my stay there.... liked the pool and the food is good too. It has a good view point... waking up to see the animals all around is breathtaking

This place is old and needs a reconstruction. Unfortunately, there is no big choice where to stay... The conditions do not correspond to the prices. Wifi is slow and not available in the room. The door to the bathroom cannot be closed, the room is very dark, not possible to sit outside - only in the restaurant at huge table. The breakfast was very poor (coffee or tea + omelette with 3 pcs of bread), food in the restaurant is quite expensive (around 40-60 cedis). I waited 40 minutes for mole salad, after that time they came to me and said if they can replace mackerel by tuna... The only positive thing is the pool, good choice of cold drinks (for reasonable prices) and nice view to the lake where you can see elephants.

The motel has accommodations from private to shared rooms. The room was clean and decent. There is a restaurant and swimming pool. It is highly advisable to always lock your door as baboons are able to break in and take over unlocked rooms in search for food. You may also want to stay close to your food and drinks at all times as baboons could be on the lookout for such opportunities. You can go on a foot safari or go in a vehicle, just ask from the front desk for more information.

Quaint lodge in the middle of the Mole National park. The pool is lovely. The food too. I stayed in a family 3-bed room with my friends, there was so much space and it didn’t feel at all as crowded up as I feared. We had a party in one of the rooms and it fit 18 people easily. The service too. 100% top class. The staff were kind and allowed us to camp outside for some parts of the night.

We spent 3 nights in a 3 persons bedroom with AC. The location of Mole Motel is right next to the park’s headquarters from where all tours leave. From the swimming pool and terrace you can enjoy affordable tasty foods and a beautiful view. Definitely coming back.

This place had no clue on how to welcome their guests to the motel , the man Brite at the reception was the most unfriendly, arrogant hospitality worker I have ever come across , he was inpatient and started screaming at us when we arrived , his hospitality was not present, the place was badly rundown and needs lots of attention and improvement to be called a motel BASICALLY A RIP OFF AND I DEFINITELY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE !!!! Brite made our stay terrible uncomfortable resulting in us checking out a day earlier without a refund ! Worst experience ever

Really really nice place! Could Not have asked for a better room, view, and the pool was really nice! Also food was good! But the service was SLOOW! Been waiting for breakfast for 90 minutes now

Amazing Hotel with a nice staff inside the National Park. We were able to see so many different animals (Elephants, springbocks, monkeys, etc.) right in front of the hotel and we would definitly come back again.

This could be such a great place, but isn't! I am very torn while writing this review - the room was clean but outdated. Everything around the premises of Mole Motel is either crumbling down or in bad need of repair. What about the staff members? Some were extremely kind and accommodating; others were a bit arrogant. Suggestion: pay with cash; there is a credit card surcharge that we didn't know about. The best part? The animals that you simply stumble upon and can observe freely. :-)

Great location for wildlife tours and ambient wildlife. Accommodation and food reasonable. Bird watchers paradise. Having warthogs, baboons and monkeys wandering around the motel is something to experience.

Bedrooms smelled heavily of detergent, bathrooms were disgusting and beds weren't comfortable. Maybe their chalets are better I dunno. 🤷🏽‍♂️

We liked 👍🏼. It's so out of the hustle and bustle environment. Very relaxing watching the animals down at the watering hole. Sometimes you have to hold onto your food as the baboons turns your dining into a contest

The situation is great! View from the terrace and restaurant amazing. Food is a bit expansive for what is it but ok. The bedroom is spacious.

We came here for breakfast after our safari tour. The food was okay. Nice view. Reasonable price. I'm not sure if they accept cards here.

I can not recommend coming here!!! It might be ok during the week but on the weekend they have more guests then they can handle. So the place feels crowed and the nature experience is getting lost. I had to wait to 6pm until a room was finally ready, and there where several things broken in the room, like the tap of the bathroom sink and the fan. The service at the restaurant is extremely bad and rude: you will have to wait about 2h for your food and have to eventually go to the kitchen yourself to get it because the service personal does not care about doing their job unless it is about you signing your bills because if they don't collect your signature they would have to pay out of their own pocket. The food is ok but not worth the price. And at the time i was there i had run out of most of the foods including: Coke, bred for sandwiches, vegetables. When confronting Ken at the reception about the short comings he became extremely offensive, stating that he does not care about complains that he did everything right and i was being difficult and the manager or management is not to be spoke to. Unfortunately you don't have that many options in the area. If you can afford it visited Zainia lodge do that, there are some cute hotels outside the park. Or if you really want to experience nature speak to the safari center just before mole motel. If you bring food and drinks pay for a car to drop you there and for the guide to come along you can cap in the middle of the park. They have tents that you can rent.

My room had a strong smell from the detergent used in cleaning. The smell made nauseous throughout my stay. Services were okay for a basic hotel

Mole Motel is a home of African touch and with rich Safari experience. A home away from home and very affordable Motel which I wish to recommend it to you anytime you are visiting Savannah Region most especially Mole National Park.

We stayed for 3 nights and had a really really great time. The views is great, the pool refreshing, the location is perfect for the safaris, even elephants came to the accomodations. The only thing that could be improved is the food / breakfast.

To start: the location is just beautiful. We we're at mole motel just as guests for two afternoons after the Safaris, so we did not sleep there. The Drinks were good but really expensive and the service was rather unfriendly.

Had a good time at the motel, pool area and restaurant. The family room with fan was a good choice because it was cool enough in the evenings so you didn't need an AC.The room was big and clean, just quite old. The doors on both sides should be locked at all times, because of the baboons searching for food. Besides them there will be some small lizards visiting your room. The baboons also steal your dinner in the restaurant if you eat outside and are unlucky. This made me feel a bit uncomfortable to be honest. The staff was quite nice, the food was good and the view over the national park amazing. Even though I did not use the pool, it did not look very clean.

Mole is a special place. The motel is comfy and clean. The pool is amazing and so deep. The noise (birdsong) and the views are breathtaking. Sadly no coffee (proper coffee, there's nes) and no hot water in the block I was in. But I wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Idilic location right next to the park HQ. We booked a chalet with A/C. The room was spatious and noise-free. This is definitely the place to book in Mole, unless you want to spend a lot of money for Zaina Lodge.

The price/quality is nice compared to the other hotel within national park. Pls bring ur own food to cook if ur not eager to take traditional foods

  • 4/5 Sam O. 1 year ago on Google
The location is wonderful. You'll experience nature, see animals like Elephants, antelopes, monkeys, Baboons, and if you're lucky much more including different species of birds and plants. The rooms are spacious but the services are not too awesome. You'll have to give enough time to get your orders when you make one, also the management of the hotel rooms need to be improved.

This is a wonderful spot to see the natural beauty of Ghana and West Africa. We were greeted by the nicest people, not so friendly baboons, countless wildlife encounters. The view from the pool is wonderful. You can see out over the land below that includes a lake and many many different species. At one point the elephants came right up to the pool area as well. Will be back someday.

This is when Tradition meets Luxury. An experience truly deserving of all the 5 star. A detail tour guide with a charming person. And the food is one of the best you could ever have. Clean water and your security assured. This was a pleasant stay. You really should consider this place

  • 4/5 Lenina W. 1 year ago on Google
We had the rooms with A/C and it was very comfortable. Plus, the view from the restaurant is phenomenal: you can see the elephants swim! Why 4 stars? The food was okay and you have to wait long for the food. So order on time!!

Great view, overlooking a pond with elephants. The staff did not really care about the guests. Most food on the menu was not available and rather expensive. There is no shade, if you want to sit at the pool. The whole accommodation is rather plane

I had a great time here. We met people from all over the world. We went on safari but didn't need to cos the elephants came right to us!

Although the location of this motel is in the middle of Ghana’s top national parks, I could not rate it any higher. Fairly to say the room was okay. Overall it misses a staff that has the intention to please their guests, make an effort. In all ways(reception, restaurant, tourtrips) we felt like a number in a factory called Mole National Park.

(Translated by Google) Usually no star at all, as 2 travelers in the group with food poisoning failed after "enjoying" the food in the motel restaurant. 1 star, however, for the functional room, another for flexibility in the very early morning arrival. Otherwise rather run down, but the safaris very nice.

Please be aware that this is a 1-star facility which is pretty run down. A normal shower is impossible as the water is barely flowing. The place is in advanced disrepair. That said, the views and the nature are beautiful.

Really nice, scenic place to stay in Mole National Park. I stayed here 2 times from 2018- 2019 in the dormitory, a private room and the camp ground. Beautiful overlook where you can watch elephants and other animals drink and bathe in a watering hole. Small swimming pool and nice restaurant with friendly atmosphere. Its a great place to meet other travelers. Accommodations are simple and clean (I don't remember the showers having hot water). For camping, you have to arrange this through the park service. They have tents for rent. Probably best to leave food at the Mole Motel or at the park service building so that you aren't bothered by baboons. Beautiful camp ground!

Excellent hotel, rooms are very spacious with all the necessary amenities on hand. Lock your door or you might have a hungry visitor in the form of a baboon! The rooms are a short walk (2 mins) from the pool and bar which is perfectly situated over looking the Savannah! My photos do not do the view justice. Its amazing!!!

Nice place to visit, if you like wild animals. They have diferent rooms for diferent prices. Prices are higher than in Kumasi or Accra. They also have a swimming poole by the restorant. Food is nice.
