The road that the GPS directs is closed with a fence. There is an alternate route through a place called El Mosca. When you are at the first roundabout, take the first right. From there follows another roundabout, the same as the first one on the right. And then you continue straight on a paved path and then a stone path and that's it. The journey is not long but it is worth it.

Almost abandoned place. It is poorly signposted to get there, you have to enter through the road that runs along the back of "El Mosca", if at that roundabout you don't get on that road and continue towards Campotejar you will find all the roads closed. The Molina town council should fix it and take care of it, it would be a fantastic place to go for a walk, ride a bike, skate, scooter, etc... and enjoy nature. So much promoting healthy living and ecology and then it turns out that we are going to have to stay at home or walk around the city alone... Here are the canes so big that they cover the roads and they have limited themselves to putting up a sign so that they do not passes... The water comes out of some manholes and overflows over the ground until they pass through the road and reach one of the lagoons. It could be a very good place!! And it's sad to see...

Nice place with many birds. It takes a couple of hours to explore and is a pleasant environment. They would need to pay a little more attention to the state of the roads between lagoons and more information on the website about when they close. For example, these days it has been closed without knowing why, and several families have come there only to have to turn around.

The municipality of Molina is incompetent and allows access to this wonderful place, the best place in the entire municipality, to be closed and they have it without managing or exploiting it. The visitor center that says it is open two Sundays a month today, October 15, 2023, is closed for a few weeks.

This is a photo taken on the 19th February at midday. This is the location labelled by google as “Torrevieja Pink Lake” or “Laguna Rosa” which is where the taxi dropped us off on the East of the lake. I think it must be the wrong area as from looking at peoples pictures from both different times of the year but also some quite recently there are definitely better areas in which the lake actually does appear to be pink, either that or some good photo shopping. I think the best way to do this would be perhaps to book on the segway tour and follow them round or get advice from a local as it would be a better use of your time. Perhaps other future edits/reviews can suggest a better area around the lake as there are many mixed opinions from the reviews I have read so far.

(Translated by Google) The place is great, it has beautiful views and 100% recommended to go at sunset. The bathroom is forbidden although the whole world really bathes and you have to be careful not to walk barefoot in the water because there are many stones and the floor pricks, it is recommended to wear booties and a camera!

(Translated by Google) The Lagunas de Campotejar wetland is made up of five old lagoons that were part of the Molina wastewater lagoon treatment plant, with a total area of 225,415 m2. The treated waters that circulate through the lagoons come from the current Wastewater Treatment Plant located in the place occupied by the anaerobic lagoons. Throughout these years this space has followed a naturalization process that has made it a place of international importance. In May 2006 the municipal Biologist prepared a "Project for the environmental restoration and municipal management of the Lagunas de Campotejar wetland in Molina de Segura", in which the importance of this wetland is justified as it is the second most important continental in the Region. Murcia in terms of concentration of waterfowl, and fourth in importance in all the wetlands in the Region; with the presence of birds included in regional, state and international catalogs, classified as vulnerable and two of them in danger of extinction (White-headed Malvasia and Gray teal). The Campotejar lagoons provide the area of influence of the Salar Gordo wetland as a whole with added value, since they attract a large number of species of aquatic birds of great global and regional interest, many of them reproductive. The vegetation is influenced by four fundamental factors: 1. The cycles of flooding-desiccation to which the lagoons could be subjected; 2. The high salinity of the soil, 3. The dominant climate in the area and 4. The composition of the water discharged. In the surroundings of the Lagunas de Campotejar wetland we find large plots of irrigated crops located to the east, with a soft topography from which the occasional small hill in the west area stands out slightly. Of the anthropic elements, it is the Campotejar WWTP installation that appears most visible to the visitor's eyes. When we approach the lagoons, the element that stands out and looks up is the large expanse of sheets of water, on whose surface the elements surrounding the lagoons are reflected. The importance of the Lagunas de Campotejar wetland lies in the fact that it can host numerous endangered species of animals, constituting a diversifying element in the set of terrestrial ecosystems. It is a key place within the migratory routes of aquatic birds, which makes the Lagunas de Campotejar one of the most important wetlands in the Region of Murcia, in terms of concentration during winter and in migratory passages of aquatic birds. which has earned it the international recognition of being declared a "Ramsar site" OBSERVATIONS It has a Visitors Welcome Center that conducts workshops and activities. I like having a place like this, just a few minutes from the town center of Molina. It helps me disconnect from the routine, without having to travel kilometers and kilometers. They are artificial lagoons that, over time, have been left wild to make them look more natural, I guess! Either way, it's a peaceful setting, with soothing sounds of birds and fish jumping from time to time. And although the routes are increasingly limited, due to the uncontrolled growth of reeds and bushes, it gives you a pleasant time. We go relatively frequently and when my son was little we took him with his bike to do the tour, so you could tour the perimeter of the first three lagoons. Yesterday it was with weeds and a "no trespassing" fence. I have never found the visitor center open. There is free parking and a picnic area. The signage to get there is deteriorated and some crossings do not even have it, it is better to go with GPS.

(Translated by Google) Amazing place unknown until now. Not bad at all and well cared for. Calm and relaxing. The downside is knowing how to get there. The signaling in the final sections is not good. Rusty or non-existent signs. You can get lost on rural roads that lead to private orchards. But is it worth it. (Original) Sorprendente lugar desconocido hasta ahora. No está nada mal y bien cuidado. Tranquilo y relajante.

Absolutely a wonderful place. Really beautifully pink. Salt everywhere. The entrance can be a little ‘hidden’ but the lake is amazing. People often have muds on their bodies coming from the lake while other have a bath or just get some sun. If you plan to have a swim please take with you the necessary water as there are no facilities in the surround nor to the lake. . I loved it

The place is beautiful, it is a place of peace, of silence, however, it has been very neglected, it is deteriorating little by little. Furthermore, access is an odyssey, the main room is private and the owner closes the door when it suits her. They have already said the alternative path in some review. It would be nice if the Molina city council made this place respected and valued, but... it seems not.

(Translated by Google) A beautiful place to visit. It is a saline, with very hot and pink water. There is very little depth and a lot of buoyancy. Recommendation, bring carafes of water to remove the salt, it is not comfortable and there are no showers. There are also tons of mosquitoes, so don't skimp on repellent. Do not carry, it is not an option. Of course, the photos you are going to take are brutal.

(Translated by Google) The truth could be more careful, there are places where you practically do not see with the reeds, and the route should not be well signposted should put some arrows .. the environment itself very quiet to spend the afternoon, with its picnic area that yes very well and its parking area, at the foot of the lagoon ..

(Translated by Google) A beautiful corner that you can go with children. There is a small route where you can visit a bird watching point and it can be done even with children as it does not have any difficulty. It has free parking. Recommended site to see a beautiful sunset. I have not been able to access the lagoons. There was a closed door that you were supposed to go through. I was very disappointed
