We were traveling in Savannah and we were looking for a Mediterranean restaurant and Shuk came highly recommended by the local folks. My wife and I and another couple stopped in for their brunch. You need to place your order as you walk in and then they give you a table number marker. After finding a table the food was at our table in a matter of minutes and they were extremely busy. Our food was even delivered by the head chef Matt Pearce. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the Chicken Shawarma bowl and it was a great portion and filled with all kinds of delicious flavors. My wife had their breakfast pita and she loved it. We also ordered a Whipped Feta plate with veggies and a pita. You have to try the whipped Feta, delicious. I would highly recommend Shuk to anyone looking for Mediterranean fare and a great atmosphere. By the way, they have the cutest little bar attached and the drinks were also tastefully made and enjoyed by all.

I met a friend here for lunch and it was SO BOMB, I had to bring my Mom back here the next day to try even more delicious food!! The whipped feta is just... 🥰 *chef's kiss* 😘🤌🏻 HIGHLY suggest adding the red chicken shawarma to it as well. Shakshuka was also yummy and my Mom got the Doner pita. Highly recommend their teas as well! I tried the Apricot and also the Hibiscus Blueberry, added sweetener and lemonade to make them Arnold Palmers. SoOoOoOo GoOoOod!!! Also to note, they have a different menu for weekends/brunch!

The best food i’ve ever had! Everything was delicious and it looked great. I give it a 1000/10. The baklava dessert was really something special. I highly recommend this restaurant!

The decor is pretty and the employees are nice, but the food is bland and expensive for the portion size. I ordered a chicken shawarma that was $14. This price only includes the sandwich, unlike other shawarma places that at least include a side and a salad for that price. I’m use to tender shawarma meat, but the chicken was tough and tasteless. I really wish it tasted better.

Wow! Must try. It's a self-service style that works out well because it's extremely affordable. The place is clean and the staff is very friendly! We went in a group of 5. The food came out in under 15 minutes!

Chill outdoorish seating at the bar! The hummus and pita was delish, would recommend an extra pita if you’re sharing! I got the falafel which has the option of being in a pita, with couscous, or greens. Couscous was a good choice and was totally great while it was hot out!

Shuk seems very low-key; but I assure you, the food is not! Vegan? ✔️ Meats ✔️ Not sure what to order? The staff is VERY patient and will explain what's going on in every dish (please tip them, they're so gracious!) Shuk is that restaurant you want to succeed, but also want to keep to yourself. The food is prepared for you. It's... so fresh I'm at a loss as to how good the hummus (plural) are. The pita are amazing. You're going to be tempted to eat a basket but you'll be too full to enjoy the entire meal! The chicken shwarma is delightful! Spicy? No. Full of complex flavors? Yes ✔️ Want some spice? I got the shakshuka with lamb and okra. I couldn't finish it... so good. Luckily, Shuk has to-go boxes so you can do what I did: relive the experience again for lunch!

What a great new edition here in Savannah! The food was incredible, the staff were super friendly, and the restaurant itself had a great vibe! You can eat inside or in their really cool patio bar area outside. Thank you for a great experience!

Had given up on finding some kind of atypical brunch place and was heading back to my Airbnb to make my own eggs. Suddenly I smelled delicious aromas and followed my nose. I'm not big on Mediterranean, but the scents coming from Shuk were undeniable! I had about six main brunch dishes to choose from, mostly unrecognizable, and finally settled on the Israeli Breakfast, substituting the hard boiled eggs for poached. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. I loved the selection of items of my plate, all very healthy. I asked for hot sauce and got shug, another culinary delight. Got seconds because I couldn't get enough! I can't recommend this place strongly enough: ALL of the employees were friendly and helpful with the cuisine, answering all of my questions and checking in, even though this isn't a "wait upon you" establishment. I even chatted with neighboring customers, who also were happy with their meals. Hurry up and get your not-the-usual brunch on at Shuk!

My husband and I ate here for lunch one day. Loved the bowls. The falafels were so good. We also had a hot chocolate and it was delicious. Service was great and nice atmosphere. Loved all the plants. Wish we had one of these back home. Definitely worth trying if you love Mediterranean food and want some healthy options.

The ambiance is bright and open, we were welcomed with cheer, the place is neat and clean and our food presentation was beautiful. My friend had the chicken shawarma bowl and she finished every morsel. My falafel was tasty and their pita is so soft and delicious. I also had the Mohamara dip which was beyond yummy with a nice smoky flavor. I will be back to try everything on the menu... they have lots of seating as well as a bar!!!

The Chicken Shawarma Bowl with hummus, couscous, pickled vegetables, and greens was a delightful combination of flavors and textures. The Chicken Shawarma in Pita Bread was a savory explosion of marinated chicken wrapped in warm, soft pita bread. The Lebanese Omelette, with its fluffy eggs and topped with fresh cucumber and olives, provided a light and satisfying option. Overall, these dishes offered a taste of the Mediterranean that left me craving more. Highly recommended for a flavorful and enjoyable dining experience!

Shuk is the most delicious, authentic Mediterranean food in town. The atmosphere is great, ingredients are fresh, service is superb. Best hummus we’ve had, comparable to our food experience in Israel. We always come here when we want clean, healthy-feeling fresh food, and not feel weighted down after. We’ve been here a few times and food is always consistently good. Highly recommend, will continue to return.

Ty at the front counter was very welcoming and helped me decide on the Shakshuka which is two eggs poached in a stew of tomatoes and peppers with a side of pita. I decided to have Sautéed Spinach and Feta added which was one of two varieties of this dish other than “classic.” The other choice was Lamb and Okra. Ty suggested it as a hearty and comforting choice for a chilly rainy day. I’m glad I took his advice. The tomato and pepper stew was seasoned perfectly. The spinach and feta and poached eggs were just the right amount of filling and the whole dish warmed me physically and emotionally. The pita was fresh, plump, and soft and perfect for dipping in my yolks and stew. The decor is subdued and pleasant with inoffensive lighting, ambient music, and enough indistinct chatter to make my solo dinner not feel lonely at all. Shuk also serves Hummus, Muhamara (blend of roasted red peppers and walnuts), and whipped Feta dips, as well as a well considered variety of brunch, dinner, salad, sauce, finger food, and appetizer selections. A full coffee, tea, wine, beer, and creative cocktail menu completes the experience. Oh, and one more thing. I ordered Moroccan mint tea. It came in an infuser pot with a tea timer. And after the two minutes I was told to wait, it was YUM!

Order at the bar or entrance and it's all brought to your table. There is no table service, as additional food and drink can be ordered via app. The food tastes great.

My dad has been raving about this place and I finally got to come try! Proud of his find, this food is wonderfully fresh, tasty, and cooked with passion. We loved the hummus #2, and domer kebab (lamb) and the tea! Server was great, brought us a sauce to enhance the meal!!

Bar none, my favorite Savannah food spot. Fresh, delicious food. Great atmosphere. Delightful team. All the dishes I have had are fabulous (the salads are so, so good), but my favorite by far is the classic shakshukah. Spicy, saucy, hearty lick-the-bowl-clean goodness (thankfully, the entree comes with a pita for sopping up every last drop, saving you the embarrassment of actually licking the bowl).
