The bags of ".925 sterling silver" sold for scrap have unknown white metal in them. I bought a $50 bag that had several marked pieces of sterling and one large bit (@ 1/2 weight of the total) of some sort of nickle aloy that had a makers mark on it but no claim of sterling. I went back a few weeks later and the sorter behind the desk assured me that everything in those bags was silver. I examined the bags on display and several bits were clearly not .925. They stopped interacting with me when I began to ask more about it.

I went for their “stuff a bag” of baby/toddler clothing with different prices for each sized plastic bag- much of the children’s clothing in the section were ripped, stained, or smelled bad. An employee helped me put my stack of clothes in a medium bag because they had run out of that size and I requested one. They only had self-checkout open, so as I was collecting my receipt for items with my child in my arms one of their employees YELLED “Did anyone check these bags?” As she rushed over to stop me…I was extremely confused as she dumped everything out in front of me, rooted through, and LOUDLY proclaimed that “everyone steals by putting the wrong things in these bags.” It was humiliating, and obviously drew negative attention from others. She wouldn’t even let me keep the plastic bag once “cleared” to carry my baby clothes to the car 😂 Be for real. At the very least make it abundantly clear to your shoppers that we need to bring the bag to an associate to check out (there’s no signage whatsoever). I’ll never set foot in or donate to this store again after this degrading experience.

I just love this place! I never know what I might find. The prices most of the time however are too high though

For a place that has everything donated to them the prices are far too high. When there is a lodge cast iron pan skillet for more then the exact same one is new online you have your prices too high. This goes for most value village stores now. Waste of time to shop there.

Welcoming and well organized with a great selection. Lost a star because some of the items are crazy expensive for second hand. We're talking a couple dollars cheaper than buying new. Not impressed with a lot of the current pricing decisions.

We found what we were looking for however ..note there are no changing rooms they say you can buy but if it doesn't fit and you have to take it back it's only a store credit..no refund..

Like any of these places it can get alittle junky, sticky, smelly or all three at once! The wonderful feeling of a great find is very real here and I guess worth any other issues.
