If you want to travel with your dog better chose a different hotel , you have to pay 25 euros for one night extra for the dog , but than the dog it’s not allowed anywhere just in the room. If you want to have drink in the bar or eat the dog it’s not allowed with you. For. 4 star plus hotel I find it very disappointed!

we had a reservation for a suite with jacuzzi, we drove there specially from Belgium, we were both vaccinated, we also quickly bought a test at DM just in case, we also showed proof! but we still had to go from reception to a test station that was closed! further we didn't feel like it anymore and we came back to belgium! that is very strange that they do not accept belgian proof of vaccination

Had been there this time only for dinner and lunch. The last time I was here was in 2019 and that time the food was just great. I am uploading some photos from 2019 here for you to know the difference. I had the best beef here in my experience. I pulled out this photo and asked the name this time but the waiter did not even know. He said nothing like this was on the menu and was never cooked there. Then I showed the location in my photo to convince him. In summary, the food does not qualify a high class restaurant for sure. Disappointed to see a place that served great food not too long back does not exist anymore.

To start with - the money you pay for this hotel is worth every penny! The cleanliness is one of, if not, the cleanest hotels I’ve stayed in! Everywhere around it- lobby, lift, bar, restaurants, rooms- they so clean it’s exceptional! The staff cannot do enough for you either , always serve you with a smile, welcoming, polite and a real credit! I would advise to not be put off by the cost of breakfast , that is also worth every penny- furthermore there is nothing else local that comes close so the breakfast I wish I’d had for all 3 mornings I was there. The views from the room are great and the rooms feel very homely, shower is bang on and all in all a genuinely great place to stay. Can’t recommend enough!

I have a complaint. I am very dissatisfied with my stay at van der Valk Düsseldorf. I booked a room to sleep. I had a party and I came to sleep at 04:00h. I was awakened by heavy sounds of construction work at 08:00h. I was not told during booking that there is construction work going on,otherwise I never chose this hotel. It is outrageous and this is really not acceptable. I could not sleep.

Great hotel near the airport. Staff is amazingly helpful and the rooms were very nice. The hotel is close to the airport so naturally not a lot of places to walk to nearby. You can get a tram into the city but the station is a 10 min walk. Great place for business trip stays or if you have a car.

Professional receptionists, comfortable room, wide choice for breakfast including an unespectedly decent espresso, good connection to the airport and to Düsseldorf public transportation. Good choice.

Great hotel, comfortable beds, good breakfast buffet and free parking. The downside is that it takes 50 minutes by tram to reach the city center.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel with phenomenal views especially if you are on one of the upper levels. The staff are incredibly friendly and the restaurant food is delicious. This hotel has been booked and I will be staying here anytime I near to be near the airport. Amazing 10/10

Its not that much near to the airport. But they offer shuttle service. There is no restaurant nearby this place so you need to have your own car.

For years we have been happy to relax for a day or two, the VanderValk Düsseldorf is one of the "most convenient" addresses for us. The arrangements in connection with the spacious rooms and the fantastic view of the airport, telecommunications tower and green lake, together with comfortable beds and good service, are recommended. The food made us click our tongues again this time, be it the smoked salmon (with fantastic perfumed fennel) or the ribeye steak, the "rose" wine or the dessert, all a pleasant accompaniment. Only the Prosecco ordered to the room (39.-) should be replaced by the management, this price is completely unreasonable. This farce was saved by the dear Omar in the Beau Bar, whose unique mai tai (very dangerous) let us doze off contentedly. We will come back, no question. A recommendation...

Nice rooms, with everything you need, but a lot of furniture has small damages over time. We wish if we had slippers and bathrobes . The breakfast assortment was a bit small but really tasty!

Nice new hotel, with spacious rooms and the possibility to leave your car during your holiday at reasonable price. Automated check in via terminal (but (private)transfer doesn’t get booked apparently even though we indicated it, so we had to order a taxi at 4h30)

Booked the hotel to stay the night before our flight. Great service and a terrific view on the airport and the surroundings from the 11th floor. A big room on the corner of the building. The birds of prey were flying in close view.

Great room and excellent service with all I met on the staff. Hotel is kind of in the middle of no where, so if like me you have no car, then not much around. Did enjoy walk which starts next to the hotel though.

Very disappointed of this hotel, drove 220 km from the Netherlands to have a nice weekend here and got refused on arrival because we did not have a negative covid with us. This was not indicated anywhere and also not known to us at all so we were badly informed and sent back home with the same speed as we came with :( Never again van der valk Düsseldorf!

This hotel earns the stars. Great location outside Dusseldorf. Great restaurant and bar. Friendly and correct personel. The executive rooms we had was spendid. Great view. To bad it was located under the Gym. Noisy in the evening and early in the morning. Excellent breakfast buffet in the morning. One of the few Van Der Valk places that doesn’t ruin the breakfastbacon, perfect servings.

We stayed with our two little boys. Room was big, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and the staff was polite.

Nice hotel to stay when flying out of Düsseldorf Airport and living further away (NL) . Had a great deal and een even better spacious room incl one free drink. Staff is friendly and room was clean. They even offer (only 4) chargers for electric cars, but pricing is a bit high. Would book again if i have an early flight.

Disclaimer: I did not stay overnight myself, but my colleagues told me to give a full 5-star rating for those as well. I, personally, got to experience the service however - and each and everyone there is very welcoming and helpful, although I am aware we are a tough crowd at times. A very special thanks to everyone at the restaurant, who were not only very forthcoming when it was about 'mere' special requests (like in, "I'd like the meat, but with the vegetables you serve with the fish"), but also incredibly competent when asked to make sure that things their guests are allergic to (nuts, in my case) won't be used. Lastly, the food was incredible (see photos attached, I strongly recommend to have dinner there yourself), making the three-day event an overall pleasant occasion. Thanks for that!

Beautiful, quiet with excellent service, we wished we stayed longer. Our room was luxurious, our bed comfortable and all the amenities of excellent quality. Body wash was specially enjoyable. Did not have time for the spa and sauna, we did have dinner and breakfast at the hotel (see review for ZiZOu restaurant) We will definitely make it a point to stay here again

I had a last minute change made to my flights leaving me to land in Dusseldorf and I booked this last minute as it was close to the airport and I needed to take a train next morning. Wow what a nice hotel. clean room. Excellent beds and wow spacious room. I opted to have the breakfast as well . A bit on the pricy side but excellent choices in all items as well as a cook to order station. Best part I didn't have to go to city centre to get the train as train station is also very much near with ICE service!

They bombard you with offer arrangements through email but , when you ask them service they are not able to help only one word sorry . I have booked every time by this Hotel the best room suite in Holland and outside Holland .
