When we went inside we were told by the hostess that the wait time would be about an hour. We decided to wait. Partly due to the fact that we were getting hangry, but we were quite disappointed to find that if you call ahead your name is put on the wait list from the time of your call. So while we were waiting, others would park, come in, and get seated immediately. (Especially since well over half the tables were open.) At one point the people who came in after us were getting seated. When we asked the hostess we were told that she “sent us a text.” Once at the table our service and food were excellent. For future call ahead to avoid both the lines and the hostess. Once past that everything’s good.

The place is nice. People very friendly there. Our waiter Mark Antony was kind, smiling, nice. Very attentive, fast and so friendly. The shakes and burgers & fries, we had were nothing short of amazing. Haven't been there in a long time and am glad it hasn't changed.

Another good stop at a franchise. Food was hot and fresh. Staff were friendly and helpful. Drinks well were very good.

There were 4 of us and we were very happy with our meals. One thought the Impossible Burger tasted so much like meat that she questioned its authenticity. Luckily, we got the short stack of onion rings because they were huge and the picture does not show that there was a plethora of mozzarella sticks. The shakes and lemonades were also a hit. Highly recommend!

We have been going to Red Robin for years. The Monona Drive location has not changed in all these years. We keep coming back because the food and service is excellent. Nicely done. We stopped going to the other Madison location because the food was no longer recognizable as a Red Robin restaurant.

Best RR I've ever been to, and as a fat guy, that is saying something. We didn't order appetizers, just burgers and fries and the waitress brought out hot baskets of fries right off the bat - it was great! Burgers were wonderful - just as they should be AND were the regular size patties. My local Milwaukee RR always makes their regular size burgers with smaller/thinner kid sized patties, thinking no one noticed.

Back for some tasty burgers! There are a lot of restaurants around Madison to get burgers. RR can get overlooked, because of its being a chain. But, oh my, they’ve got some really good burgers, and then some! The onion rings had a perfect crunchy coating. We love Brussels sprouts, and 👍 did not disappoint. Perfect combination of crunchy & chewy. There was a bit of citrus flavor in them. Maybe a little bit too much salt, but we still emptied the basket. I added caramelized onions and an egg to my Bleu Ribbon Burger. It was cooked to a perfect medium, dripping with juicy goodness and a spicy aioli, dripping all down my hand. My side of garlic broccoli was loaded with flavor and sautéed to a tender crunchiness. My wife’s Pigout Tavern Double, a bit downsized burger, but still filling and satisfying. Again, juicy patties with the delicious flavor of a BLT atop a burger. The sprinkle of brown sugar with the bacon added a crunchy sweetness to the meal. She also loved the sweet potato fries. Despite being crowded, the staff was welcoming, friendly, and attentive. There was no delay in the service. Next time we will have to leave room for dessert.

We had a large family event and had one waiter. He did an excellent job, and the food was good. The people were very nice and the establishment was clean. I had the fish for the first time. Breading was a little thick but was able to peel off as needed. The ranch is one of the best I had tasted in a long time. Great with kids, too.

I went for my Birthday to use my free loyalty program Burger offer. It must be dine in with a minimum $4.99 purchase which was easy to reach! Our server Alyssa provided us excellent service with a smile! I had the Royal Red Robin burger (with the sunny side up egg on top!) I ordered it cooked medium and it was perfect (see video). My wife had the Teriyaki Chicken Sandwich and she enjoyed it. For our bottomless sides we got Sweet Potato Fries and Steamed Brocolli. Both were excellent. No issues getting refills. Alyssa brought them out to us quickly. There is a $1.99 upcharge for Sweet Potato Fries, but it is well worth it if you prefer this over steak fries (no comparison in my opinion!) We finished with a short stack of their signature donut towers (4 donuts). WOW! So good and served with caramel sauce and chocolate sauce on the side for dipping.

Used to go here for special occasions and it was fun and clean and good food. Now, it just seems run down and not very clean. Fried pickle appetizer were lukewarm and dried out. Order was slow to arrive and incorrect on first try. I know the pandemic crushed restaurants but this one feels like it’s on a downhill slide.

Good Atmosphere & Customer Service. Endless fries were great as always. The burger was fresh and tasty…but not worth $11 based on the size of the patties (Similarly sized to McDonald’s). Perhaps a $8 burger value wise. Overall a good experience with my wife for lunch.

I’m an Uber driver, and I sometimes do Uber eats, so I often pick up over here. The staff is good, but I do think that they need more recognition for doing a really hard job, and doing it well. Once, in a great while I will eat here, and the food is decent, though it is standard Red Robin fare. But the people make the place work. You guys are great. Keep doing what you’re doing. 😊

We really enjoyed going out for Veterans Day 2022 at this Red Robin. Very family friendly and I was very happy with my free order of Red's Tavern Double and bottomless fries! (Pictured here in this review) I had several baskets of their house fries and I'll tell you what, they were piping hot baskets of deliciousness with seasonings that were borderline addictive. They even leave a shaker bottle of that stuff and a ketchup bottle on the table to make the fries even more addictive, if that's even possible! And it's a good thing I ordered the bottomless rootbeer floats too because yeah, I drank down those too! 😋 I ate like 3 servings of fries and 3 floats and they never flinched and kindly thanked me for my service several times and were very sincere in taking time to answer my wife's menu questions prior to her ordering. Our service was great so we tipped nicely and paid on the tabletop tablet with our credit card which is very convenient for us. Our Veterans Day "date night" was a success. They definitely make burgers extremely delicious if not better than every other place nearby. I didn't have their pizza (nor did I have enough room in my stomach) but I am wanting to try it so I can check out their ability to do both with quality otherwise I would've given 5 🌟 's! If your interested about my scoring method... (*It's NEVER anyone's fault that they don't get 5 stars. Some of my life's previous experiences and knowledge base stems from working in large and small kitchens,(including military) bakeries, hotel restraunts, to name just a few accomplishments... Because of that, I need to have an impression of various things. That can amount to that destinations' post having a long gap and a period of time for me to follow-up on my expectations and checking their possible advertised accomplishments and differences in (foods, if applicable) over a sometimes again, extreme period of time. It showcases that consistency and excellence are within the eatery (or location) abilities and that I'm able to be posting as such to those facts and that it deserves the best rating possible to my matched experience of abilities.*) Hope that unravels things a bit.

Had the grilled chicken salad. Good food. Friendly staff. Could have checked in on us sooner for fries or beverage refill. Seemed a bit pricey, but all places are nowadays.

Been here a few times, most recently had a pretty poor experience. The place was understaffed as there was a 20 minute wait and the place was about 30% full. The burgers and fries are so-so and while unlimited sides are a thing, expect lengthy wait times between rounds. I came with small children and waited some time for another small tray or two of fries and fruit. The experience was underwhelming and wouldn't recommend this place if you're wishing for a burger and fries. Not really worth the money.

Really sad place. 60 of 70 tables sit completely empty because there is no help. It's more of a statement on our society and politics. But when a restaurant can't find a way around being open with no servers, cooks, hosts or help at all that IS really sad. The hostess was polite and truly sorry but it was and hour wait when there were only 8 tables being served and 60 sitting empty. I blame this on corporate or regional management as I am in Red Robin's all over the U.S. and I only am incurring this problem with the RR's across Wisconsin. I strongly suggest RR look at their management team in Wisconsin and anyone looking for a good meal avoid Red Robin. The lights are on but nobody's home.

I've been coming to Red Robins for years now, and the Monona location has been a little disappointing. I went for my second time today for a friend's birthday. We waited 20 minutes to seat a table of 4 at 5:30. The restaurant looked pretty dead. At one point, there were more people waiting in the lobby than there were people. I don't know if they're just constantly short staffed, but we had the same issue the first time we went back in Feb. Anyway, we finally get seated and we get put in a corner booth without a window. We were pretty much eating in the shadows. It might've been the most undesirable table at the restaurant. On top of that, our table didn't have ketchup or napkins - we had to ask for that. Those things should be standard at a burger joint. We mentioned to an employee that it was our friend's birthday, and he was never given the birthday treatment (the little ice cream cup with the candle). We waited for a little bit after paying, but figured they forgot. We left kind of disappointed with the service. The only reason why I'm giving them 3 stars and not 1 or 2 is because I've been a Red Robin fan for a while, but think that this location is a dud in terms of service. Their food is good.

I keep forgetting to take pictures 🤣 I had the limited time Smokehouse Brisket Burger 🍔 It was DELICIOUS! I would order it again. Service was excellent 👍 Today the restaurant was short staffed when I arrived. But they didn't miss a beat. Very attentive, kind, polite and efficient. I APPLAUD ALL OF YOU 👏👏👏👏
