    Staff here are really nice and efficient; drive thru is the way to go. Today I ordered McFlurry but Ice cream machine was down, so the staff made me an Oreo milkshake instead, super nice and creative! Shoutout to that Girl for going above and beyond!!

    Ellettsville McDonalds under cover as being in Bloomington because they know they're gonna get bad ratings if you can find them! If I could give a -10 I would! Let me say for one, what good does it do to have 2 lanes open and only one person taking orders in the drive thru... So, we ordered 2 large meals, nothing special. It took 6 minutes just to pay. The guy behind us pulled out of the line because he already knew what was up! We paid for our meal, pulled up to the next window, (working on 10 or so minutes now) the girl gave us a bag to which I looked and it wasn't ours. She's back in the window looking around like she knew but didn't want to admit there was a mistake. Finally I got her attention and told her, "not mine". Proceeded to tell her what I ordered. She then gives me a different bag and again, "not mine"! By this time I briefly wondered if the people behind me are worrying about the bags of food that have gone from a "clean" environment to a potentially not so clean environment, and if it's maybe their food? This went on for another 5-6 minutes while they bickered on the inside and I heard the girl say the second bag was mine and again I yelled at them that it wasn't. Now the cook is up at the window and he asks me what I ordered to which I replied with my order again... (One meal was a chicken sandwich, we all know how long it takes for them to make one of those!) I was asked to move up to the next window to wait... A few minutes later the girl comes up and asks me AGAIN what I had ordered! I'm so mad by now that I'm not entirely sure what I had ordered so my passenger had to relay the order. She said her apologies before heading back. Another 5-6 minutes pass and a young man hands us our meal and is happy to let us know that there was an extra order of fries in the bag for the two of us. And if there was anything else he could do for us? "Yes, we'd like our drinks please!" A couple more minutes pass and finally here come our drinks. The drinks were right, thankfully. Still irritated that the drinks were the last to get to us, and LIVID that there was no mention of a refund only an "extra order of fries" right then and there because, after eating our LARGE meals we'd probably still be hungry for more. Even a coupon would have been better. Well Ellettsville McD's, it wasn't fun and I would have been embarrassed to not give the customer their meal and a refund if for no other reason because they spent nearly half an hour in the drive thru! Won't be coming back!! 👎👎👎👎

    So in life when it comes down to customer service everything can be resolved what elegant tactful communication. When I inquired why my iced coffee had been put in a drink cup instead of coffee cup the manager snared and gave me attitude. She even attempt to laugh and make fun with the young teenagers that were there. This was completely inappropriate behavior course as a customer I had clap back too. Nevertheless, her attitude spoiled my appetite and I just asked for a refund. In sum, It seems she had a biased defense mechanism going because in fast food most customers are rude but i don't accept any manager projecting their dislike for their job on to me.

    Dine in. Food fast but not hot. There were 2 kids in the playplace other than the ones I had with me. I think they were a workers kids. They were unruly. The girl was climbing all over the tables with her bare feet and butt. She had food on the play area. Their blankets were all over the place. They did settle down a little when another adult brought her kid to play. No one checked on them until we were about to leave. We will not be back if those children are there again.

    My iced coffee was supposed to be vanilla with a little extra cream, one extra pump of syrup, and one pump of sugar. I was given a really sad looking drink. It was mostly creamer, and I was given sugar free vanilla (it's hard to miss the sugar substitute taste). Now I'm sad and tired :(

    By far the worst McDonald’s I have ever been too. The inside is always packed with flies, the soda machines empty, the ketchup machines empty. The fries were extremely soggy and salty, we ordered a bacon quarter pounder only to get it without bacon. When we took it back all we got back as an excuse was “they usually don’t have bacon” and this is not the first time this has happened.

    Unacceptable service and quality. I ordered two double cheeseburgers, no toppings no bread and a small fry on the mobile app. 8 cars went through the drive through while I waited at mobile pickup. I gave up waiting and went inside. My order was ready but nobody brought it out. Opened up to find this one slice of cheese not on the burger but melted. Totally unacceptable!!!!!! What happened to the customer service McDonalds was founded on? McDonalds forces us to use kiosks and mobile apps to order them the service is horrible.

    I asked for fresh fries because at that time of day I knew they would be old but you would use them anyway! You told me that they just came out of the fryer, when I was served my French fries. I believed you so I closed the bag and took them home (10 mins away and I should have ck'd)by the time I got home they were ice cold and I knew that they had not just come out of the fryer You lied again! Not the first! If the fries are not fresh why can't you just say it'll be a few minutes but we'll make fresh fries for you, instead of lying and saying that the fries are fresh! I was giving you a second chance but I see that that second chance is not an optimum measure. I worked in fast food for a lot of years all over the United States your job is simple, be courteous and serve the customer fresh food, in a short period of time. If you can't do that why are you in this business.?

    This McDonald's is the worst I have ever been to. Unfortunately in a hurry, we still have to swing by there. We just don't have expectations of the place anymore. They are rude when they answer the phone. When they are out of product when you order, they don't tell you, they just hand out your bag with missing items that you pay for. They give you 1 napkin. They should hand out packs of sugar instead of adding it themselves because no one ever remembers to add sugar to coffee after you order and pay for it. Maybe one day they will get their stuff together.

    This place is so terrible and they can't get their orders right. Been through the drive thru and made mobile orders in the hope to make it quicker and that is far from the case we usually wait 20 minutes to an hour before we even get the food and 99% of the time the order is so messed up we have to take it in to get it fixed. Not sure what the management is doing but they are so grossly incompetent they should find a different job. I would also check any cups they give you as they have handed me dirty and used cups in the past. If you go to this location check your order and avoid mobile orders they don't seem to know what to do with them and they will either lose the order or will just not make it and say they never got it. Really think the franchise owner should fire everyone and start over and have better staff.

    This is from August 6 2023. I don’t remember asking for a used Mc-bandaid with my fries but I guess it was a free bonus. I will NEVER eat at this establishment again, there is no amount of money on this planet that could convince me otherwise. Health department was called and oddly enough after they visited the inside lobby was closed for a few days, I found that highly suspicious.

    First off we took my 2 yr old grandson after promising him for days to take him to the play area since he’s trapped in the house & has been having a hard time lately. First we were met by the maintenance person who had a rude attitude. His daughter who was there the last time and talked to us the entire time and asked us for a meal which we happily obliged bc she was being kind and polite, this time she met us at the door and offered help ordering a peanut butter McFlurry she said they had but we couldn’t find on the menu. Another man with grandchildren in the lobby said the playroom would open in 25 min per what he was told by staff. So to try and wrap this up we sat there for an hour an a half almost stalling waiting for the playground to open which never did bc “they mopped” while my grandson asked about 57 times when will it open gammaw then eventually worked into a crying episode of disappointment & myself ready to cry with him bc I know all of the events leading up to this one simple thing to try and make him feel better turned into a stressful disastrous anger inducing experience. And the playground was only part of the story here. The bathrooms were filthy, I had ordered a sweet tea to go for my home bound demented father I care for only to walk to the drink station and find no tea whatsoever nor an employee in sight to ask if there was some behind the counter or if there was just none at all. Common courtesy would have been to tell me when they brought the order and laid it on the counter that they were out. All of this may seem trivial but I never leave the house bc I take care of my dad and grandson full time. This was the only way I could do something special for little one close enough to home to get home quickly if needed and it was less than desirable to say the least. I am NOT a complainer. I NEVER complain anywhere. I have worked in the food service industry and healthcare my entire life and have much compassion. This is just a prime example of how the small things may be really huge to another person and communication is much appreciated. Telling me all of the things would have been very appreciated. The playground will not open bc we don’t want to clean it again before closing, we are out of sweet tea.. you know.. just tell me. Or move the trash can and let the kids play for a few minutes and whip up a batch of tea. I don’t know, maybe I ask for too much. Maybe it’s menopause. Either way, no more Ellettsville McDonald’s outings happening with me in the mix. Am I wrong for expecting what I asked in the above novel of complaints? Thanks for the therapy session. I think I’m done now. Good evening all.

    Staff was "busy" laughing and failed to even acknowledge our existence Waited approx 5 min to place our order Qtr Pounder meat was over cooked and cold Fries were hot and tasty.

    Ordered 4 PC chicken nuggets kids meal with small coke but got a plain double hamburger, cold & dry. & a lg coke. Went thru drive up & was in a hurry so couldn't go back. I don't live in Spencer

    The last real McDonald's. They still have the daily double unlike most other McDonald's. They still have a play area for the kids. The service was fast. We were there late. The lobby was still open. The taco bell and the Arby's nearby both closed early. This McDonald's was open, the food was great for a McDonald's, and the service was solid.

    Went to McDonald's. I got 3 large meals. Got back home, and this is what we were given. Went back to try to get my money's worth, and the boss/manager said we didn't get the fries from there after spending 35 bucks there. Had a receipt and all. Didn't give us anything back, so I hope you like the half bag of fries that hit your head. Hope you get fired too. Was worth getting pulled over and trespassed from this nasty place.

    Went in and ordered 3 breakfast meals this morning for my son, his friend and myself for $32 and was then told that the lobby was closed for a remodel. Spent $10 on my big breakfast that I couldn't eat because I was on my way to Spencer to go to work. No signs on the doors, kiosk up and running and the front door unlocked. 👍 Thanks for nothing.

    I used the app and it thought I was in that city. App tells me I have to call the store specifically. I call and rudely told no they can't help me or cancel it or anything. Yet the app says call them. So I guess they are going to keep my money? Definitely id give you negative stars if I could. So highly don't recommend them nor whomever answered. 💯

    is not the best we ordered a quarter pounder but they took 20 minutes a even with that they did not give us the right thing they gave us a filet o fish i wish i could rate 0 stars but i cant. DO NOT GO THERE!!!
