It's a pooular restaurant in downtown. Nice food, beer and good service.

Actually part of the Chez Leon chain - but somehow it didn't really fit here. Definitely not comparable to the branches in Paris. Firstly, the wonderful Moules a al Dijonnaise were completely missing from the menu and secondly, when we made our selection we were assured that there was no celery in the dish. Apart from mussels, the casserole contained _only_ lots of celery. Oh, the fries weren't convincing (in Belgium!!!). A pity.

Excellent fried mussels

Very disappointed. In the cup with the appetizer biscuits there were almost as many small pieces as whole ones. The mussels were very small. The white lady with a not so good frozen chocolate... Don't want to go back there.

It’s pitiful, we really had the impression of disturbing them!

Delicious food and very friendly service

Lovely terrace and staff. Mussels were delicious. Drinks nice. Would have given 5 stars except steak was requested medium rare and was delivered well-done, overcooked for our taste, and we were over-charged (significantly), including a plate we didn’t order. Sadly we didn’t notice till we were home.

It is a Belgian institution, but to be honest, I think it must a lot of what it used to be... The food isn't especially good, and even though I always take the same plate ( mussels, which are Leon's most popular dish) I am always disappointed by the taste... Also last time, we stayed there 3 hours because the service was so slow

Classic moules frites place, great for kids as it’s equipped with a small playground. Fair prices.

We ate here with a larger group and were thrilled. A restaurant that we can only recommend. All I can say to the previous speaker is that although it is somehow part of the chain, it has nothing to do with Chez Leon's in Paris. This “branch” was the first and is a bit more original. Of course, in Paris you follow the trends and of course there is more competition in the area, this should not be forgotten. As far as the food was concerned, we couldn't complain at all, but as with so many things in the world, food is and remains a matter of taste.
