I cannot find anything charming or romantic about this place :/ ! I can only guess that the people commenting have never traveled much in their life. Room- very basic, unhygienic toilet board full of urine. Restaurants are incredibly loud, tables are greasy, chairs are worn out and sticky, again the hygiene is not the priority. Service : extremely friendly staff. Breakfast : a total disaster of chaos and rampage - just grab a table and set it yourself, a real cantine ! SPA: serenity package is a joke - Spa area is like a train station, massage is like a tickle and definitely not worth the money. This is a hotel for business travellers, but not for a romantic spa weekend. To avoid at all costs! Checkout: the receptionist was proud to explain you quite arrogantly that you cannot get the bill before paying because this is how the computer system works. Please management educate your staff : do you often take 600€ out of your wallet without checking if what you’re paying for is accurate?

Schönes und sauberes Hotel. War geschäftlich dort und es war ein angenehmer Aufenthalt. Den Fitnessbereich habe ich genutzt. Die vorhandenen weiteren Spa- Angebote habe ich nicht genutzt. Das Restaurant ist erstklassig, die Bar bietet viele leckere Getränke und besonders ist das super reichhaltige Frühstück. Ich habe mich wohl gefühlt.

The staff was incredibly nice, very welcoming and attentive. The room was amazing as well, very comfortable bed and reasonable prices! Definitely worth it to stay here. From my experience; with all of the amenities they have to offer (the spa and fitness center included), this is the best hotel in Mons. Don’t hesitate to book here.

I do not recommend this hotel especially if you are another ethnicity other than white as the staff are profiling the customers and treat them very badly. Also the housekeeping are rude and making noise in the passage. Awful experience.

The staff are all lovely and the rooms are comfortable. I’d love to give 5 stars but we chose this hotel because it states it has Electric Vehicle charging but when we arrived, we were told it had been out of service ‘for some time’, which is completely unacceptable - they should update their website immediately.

The hotel is nice and the location is great. The Rooms feel pretty modern and reasonably priced. The check in process was smooth and parking is available on site. We ate at the restaurant located in the hotel and the food was good also. We only stayed one night and my biggest complaint is that the hot water in the shower was broken, so we couldn’t adjust the temperature. We didn’t complain because we didn’t know there was an issue until we were in the shower and by then It was almost checkout. If management happens to see this it’s room 121.

Nice big hotel. Quiet location. Parkering garage. Very nice breakfast. Had a nice buffet dinner. A little far walk to the city center.

Overall I’d say the hotel is OK. The bed was not very comfortable, I think it had an old mattress. The tv is small. There is a fridge but it’s tiny and only comes stocked with water. The pool and hot tub are ok at best, but they’re part of a wellness spa so it’s always crowded and the hot tub is lukewarm. It says max 6 people but it only comfortably fits 3-4 adults, and it’s always full. The pool often has a class like water aerobics, and there’s a class leader yelling instructions to the class. Participation in the class is not included, so overall the pool/hot tub area are almost unusable to guests. The restaurant is not good at all - the food is also OK at best but wildly overpriced. Overall this is an ok hotel with an ok location if you need to be near the train station, but if you don’t then I’d advise you to look elsewhere as there are far better places to stay at this price point that don’t try to look fancy while offering basic service and quality.

We spent two nights in this hotel. Overall it was a good hotel; the food was delicious both evening and morning. The children are also thought of; there is a playground both indoors and outdoors plus its own menu. The old center of Mons is within walking distance. Also just in front of the new station of the architect Calatrava. The pool is nice - not very big. Quite a downside - the rooms are noisy; there was a party next to the hotel and sleeping had to wait a while.

We had dinner here with my husband for my birthday 3 days ago. We had dinner for the first time. The service of the staff was friendly, the taste of the food was amazing, we felt very special, especially thank you to Ms. Paula. We will come often from now on.

Breakfast was outstanding. Room had too many spiders. Food is great pay for the breakfast included or it's 25 extra a day.

Stay here for a short break. I used the hotel mainly as staying place to visit places near Mons, (no really much to see in Mons) Hotel bed was very comfy, rooms were nice and clean. Location is good, very easy to get to it if coming by car, and free parking I really like the restaurant, nice food and lovely beers

If you want a cocktail that is made with love, expertise and a little je ne sais quoi then go to Alex, the best mixologist in Mons!!

Can't fault it, really nice room and amazing restaurant with friendly staff. Breakfast was perfect. Stayed with work, would return if in the area.

Stayed here in 2023 and 2024. Both times were great. Rooms are nice. Breakfast is WAY too expensive. But it’s ok since it’s not mandatory.

Room.great, good size however the air conditioning dont cool the room enought, also most of the staff of the restaurant agent really good, except Rémi.

Very good business hotel. The location is not great. The construction work on the station opposite restricts access to the town centre and the hotel is set in an industrial area. But - great staff at reception, lovely rooms (mini suit on 4th floor - lovely) bar and restaurant are very good (decent wine list) and a decent (very conventional European hotel) breakfast. So some issues but if you just want a solid hotel experience then this is good.

Great spacious hotel, has large/nice/clean rooms, good staff, nice AC and WIFI, awesome and really good restaurant, good free parking, a nice pool/spa area, and a pretty surrounding area! The only thing they could upgrade is their hot tub. They also sell Cuban Cigars and are building another lounge bar! I will definitely stay here if I am in Mons again!

This is THE place to stay when visiting Mons, Belgium. The rooms are spacious, the restaurant has amazing food, there is a large shopping mall within a 10 minute walk, the Mons train station is adjacent to the hotel, and it's only a short 15 minute walk to the Mons plaza.

Restaurant was noisy, way to busy, slow service. I have an EV they list charges available on the website -> they are all out of service! This is kit OK

Really nice hotel , all the staff at the hotel were really nice , very polite and friendly . The breakfast buffet was outstanding . The cocktails were nice , the food was also really good and very big portions . Would definitely recommend this hotel .

Wonderful nice and modern hotel in the middle of nowhere. But the view from the room to the railway station of Santiago Calatrava still in construction for 7 years now, worth evreything. If you have the chance to have one of those rooms! Their restaurant is nice but the Monty’s Bar is amazing

This is an amazing hotel! Great rooms and friendly service, a super restaurant for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, close to a large shopping center, and close to the Mons train station with access to many towns and cities.

Staff is fantastic. Oriental room is great, restaurant and breakfast are excellent. Room has heating issues but after a few back and forth with the staff, they solved it. One minor issue, car charging stations are out of service.

A nice large hotel, with a big restaurant and bar. There are many types of room all of which are comfortable and very clean. I've only given it 4 stars as they use the small shower gels and shampoos and 3 bottles of water per day that you stay. I'm sure they could be more environmentally conscious by making a few changes. There is a gym and pool and plenty of parking. A small walk to the station and 15 minutes to the centre of town by foot.

My go-to place when visiting Pairi Daiza. The hotel is located right near the train station so that's perfect. The rooms are great and affordable. I'm a big fan of the Van der Valk hotels in general and this one has never let me down. The restaurant inside the hotel is also really nice.

Sauna and steam rooms are out of this world. Comfortable rooms. Friendly staff. Great if you're travelling with a dog - just ask for a ground floor room with a terrace.
