We stayed at this hotel in July 22. The ocean was very dirty, the beach too (plastic bottles and other garbage). No snorkeling, muddy water. Dinners at the hotel are very poor and cooked in microwave oven, worse than airplane food. There is no way to get to another side of the island, the path was destroyed. There is no complementary water and there are no stores on the island. Everything is overpriced. Waste of time and money.

At our arrival on the airport, the villa has organised a taxi to pick us up and dropped us off in the harbour where after a short wait, we have been picked up by a small transfer boat. The journey was short and soon we were greeted by a lovely manager who gave us some refreshments and introduced us to the villa, our rooms and the surrounding area. We had a large bathroom, air con and a balcony with a stunning view. The food was always delicious but I wish we were told that we could alter the menu slightly to accommodate our dietary requirements. Being vegetarians, we had only the fish option to choose from and after the third day that was becoming a little repetitive. So I recommend you to let the staff know in advance if you don’t eat meat as the chef does some very stunning veggie dishes. We stayed in the villa for two weeks but we felt it was a little long stay as there is not all that much to do in the area. Once you explore the corrals and walk up the hill through the local rain forest and take couple of days kayaking, there is not much else then chilling by the pool. We came away with some beautiful pictures of wildlife and beaches though. So if photography is your thing, definitely consider staying here for a few days, max a week.

We have been over Christmas and New Year here to escape. The lovely small Cerf island is a really nice and calm place to come down and get relaxed. The Cerf island is reached by the shuttle boat from the villa starting from the jetty on Eden Island. The shuttle boat is daily available according your request. The villa Cerf has 2 rooms at ground level with porch and 2 rooms at 1st level with balcony. The service personnel was very kind and doing everything to satisfy your needs. Breakfast was simple with toast, fruits, egg's and coffee. For dinner you could select from 2 menus. I recommend to use the kajaks to visit long island or Il Moyenne which is easy to reach and impressive.

Great hotel on the beautiful island. Very friendly staff, tasty food, comfortable room. You can snorkel, go around the island with a kayak and visit nearby islands.

I can certainly recommend Villa De Cerf with its helpful and friendly staff. Very good food and drinks menu at reasonable prices. If you want to treat yourself to a quiet and relaxing break, you will will be well satisfied at Villa de Cerf.

Were very disappointed with staying in Villa de Cerf. Instead of clear ocean we found dirty muddy water mixed with sand and lots of seaweeds. Kayaking wasn’t possible due to rough waves. No path to the opposite side of the island. Overpriced water and beverages. Small portions for breakfast and dinner and poor taste. They didn’t cook the dinner for us, just refreshed it in microwave. Definitely not recommended.

Rooms are large beds are covered, staff are great & the location is breathtaking

Perfect gataway from the hustle and bustle of Mahe. We've been there for 2 weekends. Nice and big rooms facing Mahe and the pool. Good tasty food and we liked the mixed juice. They offer free kayak, so we managed to visit three neighbouring islands in the marine park. We didn't manage to get to the hiking trail as it needs some maintenance, looking forward to doing it next time around! Special mention to our hostess, Rita, for the hospitality and help with our enquiries.

Great place, very quiet, only 4 rooms. We got there by boat, the manager Rita (very nice and professional) welcomed us to the villa. The room was very spacious and so was the bathroom. Every day you get a chef prepared meal (very good), and some of the deserts were the best I ever had. Cerf island is not big, there are no paved roads, only small pathways between the villas. We were told there is a jungle path to the other side of the island (we didn't take it, it looked to scary for us 🤐), we took the kayak to the other side. The tide here is insane, sometimes the water got so low you could go 50~60 meters in to the ocean and the water would still be at your chast level. The only negative thing I can think of is the seaweed (I just don't like seaweed), when in was blown to shore it wasn't eye pleasing (it's possible that's just me 😞). Back to villa de cerf, if you want to go to Mahe there is a boat that can take you at ~10am and bring you back at 16:30. The service at the villa is impeccable, from the cleanliness of the room to catering to your every need. To conclude, if you want a relaxing getaway, villa de cerf if the place to go. PS My wife and I were there for 10 days, and we can't stop thinking about getting back there.

We recently stayed at Villa De Cerf with our family and we have the best time of our lives.. We enjoyed it very well. The place was very clean and nicely decorated, the staff was friendly and food was amazing. Real value for money so we will definitely come back every year! Thank you Anna and your staff!
