It's a beach with no beach, let's just put that out there first of all. It's a nice escape from the downtown crowds, you can usually find a seat, and you can grab a beer while watching the boats. But THIS IS NOT A BEACH!

Would be 5 stars if it was open! It used to be a spot where we can see latin dancing! Cannot swim but the feeling of a really nice beach!

This is a real sand beach with lounge chairs and umbrellas. can't swim there since there is a port and marina nearby but still it's a good and relaxing spot to enjoy some shade during summertime in Montreal.

This beautiful urban beach has fine sand, umbrellas and chairs. You cannot swim there but it is a perfect place for sun tanning or for relaxing. You will have nice views in different angles. This place is worth visiting.

It's midday, mid-summer and mid-week and it's closed? Why is this area even locked? Redpath Sugar beach in Toronto has the same thing and it's free, because it's public. The clock beach should be open - seriously a waste of space if it's just going to be private and closed to tourists and locals. Also, had I known it was $2 to sit in a chair, wouldn't have bothered checking it out. Cash grab if you ask me.

Real sand beach with lounge chairs and umbrellas. Of course you can't swim there since there is a port and marina nearby but still it's a good spot to enjoy some shade during summertime in Montreal. The park nearby is also a great and fresh spot for picnics.

Very nice little beach to enjoy the good weather and to watch the boats. There are toilets and showers, all free. They check your bag pack on the entry (no alcohol, no glass). Smoking is not allowed neither are music speakers.

(Translated by Google) The sand is very beautiful. Very beautiful view. There is plenty of room to lie down or sit. The cost is ridiculous ($ 2 per entry). You have to bring your towel. (Original) Le sable est très beau. Très belle vue. Il y a beaucoup de place pour se coucher ou s’asseoir. Le cout est ridicule (2$ l’entrée). Il faut apporter sa serviette.

Beach at the clock tower is a hidden gem, very nice place to relax and tan, can’t swim but they have cool down showers, very cheap to enter (sometimes no charge) cantina with drink and snacks

This place is amazing, I don't get the beach that is not a beach but, looks like a fine lounge, they have it kind of like a waiting area for those taking the ferry to the island, I don't know if access is open to the public or just for ferry ticket holders, not restaurant or shop on site, again that will do great lounge and resto, but who knows how they see it, why the sand? What is the history with this place, or plan?

(Translated by Google) Great tourist spot. Skate in winter with big wheel. Quite cold because of the river nearby ... But pleasant setting, beautiful view. Activities sometimes expensive ... In summer it's very beautiful there are many things to do and interesting activities, Tyrolean labyrinth, pedal boat, cart rental, festivals and festivities (Original) Super spot touristique. Patin en hiver avec grande roue. Assez froid à cause du fleuve à côté... Mais agréable cadre belle vue. Activités parfois dispendieuses ... (Translated by Google) Some seem unhappy that we cannot swim and the price of drinks ... In fact, this location is ideal on hot days with the breeze by the water. The atmosphere is quiet and the arrangement of chairs / umbrellas is optimized. Go there during the week in the late morning, people arrive just around 3pm to 4pm. It is possible to enter with take-out food / restaurant without paying for the food sold on site.

(Translated by Google) Super pleasant environment at the edge of the water. On the other hand the DJ of Saturday July 27th gave us 80% of techno music so strong that we could not speak. Did not respond to our request to lower the sound a bit. Informed of the situation, the bracelet attendant told us that we could not do anything about it and that we could leave if we were not happy !!!

I went to Montreal this time, and we found this hidden beach behind the clock tower. I looked at some pictures from the review and it looks amazing in the summer. However, the beach was already closed during the time of our Thanksgiving weekend visit. I will definitely be back next time to enjoy this beach.

The beach is cool place to get some sun / for kids to play with sand toys, but you cannot swim here. Right on the St. Lawrence River. Clean white sand, chairs, and umbrellas.

It's a beautiful long strip of sand overlooking the water. Great for tanning. Big umbrellas are provided. Amazing view of buildings, the famous Montreal ferris wheel, bridge and boats. Only downside is that you can't actually go into the water, it's all gated :(

It was off season when we visited so we didn't really get the chance to experience this urban beach. But great photo ops in and around here. Would definitely need to plan a trip in the summer.

Located at the foot of the Clock Tower, a mythical symbol of the Old Port, the beach is equipped with foggers and showers to refresh you at any time. (Translated by Google) "Beach" is not really the appropriate term when there is no possibility to swim ... nevertheless it is a superb place to relax, to fill up with vitamin D before winter. A breathtaking view of the St Lawrence so majestic. Beautiful white sand well maintained, pretty umbrellas and sunbeds ... ideal to unwind. (Original) "Plage" n'est pas vraiment le terme approprié quand il n'y a pas possibilité de se baigner... néanmoins c'est un superbe endroit de détente, pour faire le plein de vitamine D avant l'hiver.
