This is one of the best vegetarian sushi restaurant I haven’t even been. We r strict No Garlic / No Onion / No Scallions vegetarian. At the beginning chef inform us most of sauce had already blend in with these, but at the end, chef had made 7 different flavour without onion/garlic/scallions, it really made our day! Highly recommended, war atmosphere and super friendly staffs. East street parking.

Some of the best sushi I’ve had in my life (I’m not vegan or vegetarian). - The Gyu tempura roll was amazing - The roll with capers on it was my favourite. Holy cow it’s so good. Make a reservation 1 week in advance !! 10 pieces of sushi each was enough for us. The service was amazing. The waiter just asked how many rolls we wanted and chose for us. He chose really well. The desert is pretty good, but not amazing. It was $36 for 10 large pieces of sushi and dessert.

Quite possibly the best sushi I've ever had. The flavors were so unique, and everything we tried was delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant is also very cozy and pretty with plants everywhere. We loved it and would absolutely go again!

What an experience, the food was top notch. Had the pre-selected tester menu with chef choice for sushi. Just wow, each meal was so well done, I can't describe the attention to detail when it comes to ingredients selection, you have to experience it. We didn't have a reservation so they found a spot for us by the bar, and what a great choice, our bartender was amazing and we got to see how everything was made.

I was so excited to try out this vegan sushi restaurant and it did not disappoint. We went with the Omakase menu to be able to try a bit of everything. The menu was quite extensive with lots of variety. The salad was flavorful and fresh and the rolls were as beautiful as they were delicious to eat. So much play on textures and flavors. Using konjac to make it look like a salmon sashimi is brilliant. Will most definitely go back!

We ordered the combo for two, and three of the specials. The three specials were good but unfortunately the maki in the combo were not the greatest; one was really spicy and heavy on curry, another was exploding with mushrooms. The rolls are quite large but all were too sweet and heavy on the sauces. I would highly suggest to avoid the combo’s, and get a la carte.

This was a wonderful experience! All vegan sushi, I’ve never had anything like this before. Came here on a Saturday evening with no reservations so we were afraid we might not get seated. To our surprise, we were seated within 5 minutes of entering. We were placed at the bar in the back. Chill house music & dim lighting set the vibe. Our server Sophie was dope! They gave us the run down on every dish we ordered which made the experience very delightful, I really enjoyed hearing about the dishes before trying them. For our appetizers we ordered the Soupe Miso & the Gyoza au Champignon Croustillant. For our main dish we ordered the following: Avocat et ail noir, California Dream, Tropical & Momo. I am forgetting the name of our dessert but it was made up of 3 delicious pastries. We did not try any of their drinks while we were there however. This is my partner’s favorite restaurant out of all the places we visited! 10/10 Experience for me, highly recommend this spot! I will definitely be returning here 🔥

My friend had been raving about this place for a long time, and i thought he found it particularly good because he is vegetarian. The three mushroom ones, sweet potato and jalapeno, mango, California, and the Mumbai, and some edamame. We weren't able to get a reservation because it was fairly last min on a Friday night, and didn't want to wait so just ordered take-out.

I was really impressed with the fake salmon on one of the rolls. It looked so much like the real thing. The omakase also came with a salad, an oyster mushroom appetiser and a matcha cake with raspberry sauce. It went well with white wine. It is a little pricy but it's great for a treat every now and then.

Sushi Momo is definitely my fav vegan sushi place! I usually go to their takeout counter Komomo, but the real Sushi Momo restaurant is a must-visit too. The food is tasty, filling, and beautifully presented. Not cheap but so worth it. 10/10 would recommend!

I love especially the ones with vegan cashew cream cheese, vegan beef, vegan bacon, and vegan salmon. The sashimi was fresh and delicious with little pearls that burst of flavor with fresh apple. I’ve never had real sashimi so it was special. The Bombay Indian curry sushi is amazing too - so unique, it literally tastes like Indian curry in a sushi form. They have an affordable tasting menu too for when you can’t choose. Dessert is nothing great, save room for the sushi. Also the other menu items like fried squash, dumplings, miso soup are all excellent but the speciality is really the sushi - I would get that instead.

One of the two best vegan sushi restaurants I've visited, Sushi Momo makes creative use of plant-based ingredients, the plating is gorgeous and, most importantly, everything was delicious. Try their signature dishes for a unique experience. Their cocktails were beautiful and well balanced. This one with vodka, rhubarb, ginger and basil flavors became an instant favorite.

Absolutely incredible. Had to convince my friend that vegan sushi was a good idea but he was won over. Very innovative menu and concept. I'm trying to remember exactly what we got but everything was amazing and served quickly. Would definitely be back for takeout or dine in.

An entire restaurant dedicated to vegan sushi??? As an ardent lover of seafood I was horrified but it was one of the best sushi experiences I have had. We did not get a table on a Thursday evening so we got bar seats- best meals I have had are at a bar and this one was no different . Our amazing serving staff, Sophie was also the bartender (cocktail magician) who whipped up some amazing cocktails with class and finesse. Old fashioned and Whiskey sour a must try. We ordered a variety of sushi plates - palm heart , sweet potato and jalapeño, cucumber and some tempura vegetables. The miso soup was really fresh and a must try along with the gzoya. My MIL had two plates, she loved it so much

Best sushi I've had in a very long time! Maybe the best sushi ever. Definitely the most creative and innovative flavours and offering. I loved the big Momo rolls. We ordered an old fashioned and one of their mocktails - everything was sooooooo tasty! Very pretty decor inside too and excellent service. Can't wait to go back!!

First time here. It was good, and I really wanted to like it. But it was not for me. The waiter was nice, but forgot an order. But overall a good experience. I hated the music though... chill house or whatever you want to call it. Music created by and for robots:) ps: I had a negroni, that was great and the beer my friend had was also pretty good

One of the best dining experiences of my life! In short - you will be surprised. We tried mushroom tartare, soba salad and a set of sushi that our waitress picked out for us. All were amazing, the amount of flavour is incredible, there are lots of different flavours and they all work extremely well together. You just have to try it! The vibe inside was also quite cool.

Excellent vegan sushi restaurant. great vibe and service. It’s really amazing using similar ingredients to create different flavors. We ordered Midori to go. I tasted sort of curry sweet potato, coriander coconut milk, pesto and truffle oil. I like mango-potato the most.

Very testy sushi. I wasn’t sure what I would experienced but it’s better than I’ve expected. I ordered omakase and the amount was very generous so I had probably like 8 pieces to go. One thing I do want to mention though, some of the dishes almost too salty (oyster shoot) and I never considered myself a light flavor eater, if you prefer to have the original food flavor, you might want to skip this one. I would recommend it to non vegetarian friends. : ) (I am not a vegetarian and I am a huge believer of sushi = fish, so I guess it explains something?)

What a great surprise! I was blown away by the richness of flavours and the beauty of each dish that was presented to us. All plant based. We chose the tasting menu, something I never do, and I enjoyed each of the pieces. The miso soup is probably the best I have had. The beet carpaccio was delicious. Each of the sushi’s was beautiful and tasteful. There was not a single moment where we missed animal protein in our meal. I can’t wait to go back.

Incredible tasting menu ! There were four of us so we were able to try lots of different dishes, as well as all of the sushi. The beet carpaccio and mushroom tartare were my favourites. I highly recommend Momo whether you're vegan or not. Delicious is delicious.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. Some of the flavour combinations we incredible, like the Momo makis. But some left a little to be desired, lack in flavour altogether (like the salmon sashimi, not worth the price whatsoever). The soba mango salad was good, but honestly could easily make the same at home for a fraction of the price. It's a great experience to have at least once, and for those who don't eat fish or seafood, it's an amazing option.

Best sushi I’ve had in my life and i am generally a fan of raw salmon. This is completely vegan and completely mind blowing. I recommend this, 10 stars!! The food and the service were perfect.

Unbelievable food! One of the best meals i have ever had, carnivorous or otherwise. Sushi Momo is worth going out of your way to eat at. We had an assortment of rolls and every single one was exceptional. The sauces complement each roll perfectly.

Momo mo. I want mo! What a feast. I had no idea it was completely vegetarian and vegan. Not a clue. It wasn't until I heard the waiter describing the menu that I realized I was in a vegetable haven. It was phenomenal! I can't say anything else about it. Excellent!! Top to bottom! 4 course is the best!

Absolutely amazing! Every sushi was a dream, great combination of flavors. Two are a must try: SOS and Montreal. Great atmosphere as well. Can’t wait to go back! I got the 4 course menu but wouldn’t recommend it - it’s better to choose 4 different sushis for the same price. The entrees were good, but the sushis are a better option. And the dessert in the 4 course menu was sooooo tiny, almost a joke 😂

Vegan sushi doesn’t truly describe this place. This food is a love letter to Asian cuisine - with influences from French cuisine and all plant based ingredients. This meal could easily be served for 10x the price at a fine dining restaurant. Instead, the pricing is accessible and environment relaxed yet welcoming . The mushroom tartar is not to be missed.

Incredible!! Great vibes and decor, food and service were amazing. We got the mushroom tartar to start, then the sakura, geisha and oyster mushroom crispy rice for sushi, then ended off with sorbet. The Sakura was quite spicy but really good. Would definitely come back again!!

As somebody who doesn't consume fish, I'd never thought I'd be able to experience the pleasures of a fine omakase, but Sushi Momo allowed me to do so, without falling short of expectations. I had their set-menu, which included an oyster shooter, a mango-soba salad, chef's choice of sushi, and a brownie. The shooter was made of savoury, stringy oyster mushrooms in a slightly tangy sauce with a crispy chip on top. The mango-soba salad was great, I enjoyed how the fried onions provided a flavorful and textural contrast to the luscious noodles, same with the radish and greens. However, the mangos were underripe and overly tart. Chef's choice of sushi rolls provided to me were the Delhi, Tropical, and Oyster Mushroom, Caviar, and Truffle. Delhi was reminiscent of Japanese curry, with crispy fried kabocha and peppers on a roll with konjac shrimp and a light curry flavour behind it. Tropical was a refreshing punch, of mango, coconut, freeze-dried strawberries, with a yuzu-mango sauce, and the same konjac shrimp. In both instances the konjac shrimp was chewy and flavourless, but it did not detract from the food. Oyster Mushroom, Caviar, and Truffle was a mass of rich creamy mushrooms with a seaweed caviar on top of a thick piece of fried rice. The dessert was also presented well, a fudgy brownie with strawberries, and a raspberry and mango emulsion, but I wasn't a big fan.

Started off with a miso soup that had the perfect amount of saltiness and umami flavor. Subsequently had two different types of rolls that were extremely delicious and tasted very fresh. The atmosphere inside felt very cozy with nice warm lighting. The bilingual staff were very nice. Downsides: the price - but that is to be expected since this restaurant is a little bit more upscale. Also, they only give you five rolls. Felt like the portions could’ve been a bit bigger. If I find myself in Montreal again, I will not hesitate to come here again.

I found out it was all vegan only when I was placing the order! They should give more elaboration online that it’s entirely vegan, I thought i was going to a normal sushi place! We moved forward with the order and tried the Geishi, fried Avo, 3 champions, and the edamame with chili. Best I would say was the fried Avo sushi the rest was very average, and the edamame was lacking in flavor and too spicy with no seasoning! Their soy sauce also was very weak! Drinks were not the best! Finally, for desert we went for the sorbet (pear and strawberry) it legit tasted like sugar and water, very bad

I ordered the 49$ TASTE MENU, and objectively speaking it was not bad, but maybe I was expecting too much. The two appetizers were too salty, like pickles, and they were waiting for me to finish them before serving the next course. The main course was a 12 pc sushi combo, and the deep fried one was already cold, and my mouth hurt from eating the cold deep fried sushi because it was completely hard. Dessert was a poached pear but given a spoon, good thing it was small enough or I don't know how I would have finished it. Cocktails were okay, middle of the road. Overall it's kind of an above average restaurant, the taste of the food as well as the service might have room for improvement
