Situated right behind a couple of buildings that are occupied by various offices of the municipality of Montreal, Champ-de-Mars is called a park probably because of a lack of a better term to describe it. I would describe it as a public space that consists of no more than one long alley/walkway, a row of poplar trees, a few benches and a large green lawn. It's still a very pleasant place to sit and chill on a warm day.

There are no playground or other activities. No restrooms. Large empty space. Many benches. Great for picnic and bring your own activities (freezbe, etc). Great for dogs as large open space. It is a shame they don't add monuments or other things that would potentially attract more tourists. Pictures include surroundings areas.

Good spot to relax, a bit noisy

I wouldn't classify this as a park. There's a large narrow grassy field and some benches in the side, however they are atop a small hill with lots of traffic so its noisy. Just around the corner is a fountain with more benches and that area for me is 5 out of 5.

One of the cleanest metro stations in Montreal. Haven't detected any funky odours, the steps/stairs are clean.

Very delicious Mediterranean dishes, specially their falafel and taboule. Reasonably priced, good portions and friendly service but slow during weekends.

Love that green space in the neighborhood. I would like to have more trees there, but it's nice how it is now.

We had a wonderful surprise opportunity while walking through at night with the video projection on the surrounding buildings. An incredible art display and the video was so well done. Check it out!

Love the Cité en Mémoire show on the sideof the Justice of the Peace (Palais du Justice) building, a must see! And there are others around Montreal as well, look for them!

There is so much space over there that it's still pleasant to take a walk around there while respecting social distancing. The city has done quite a lot of work renovating that area. It's quite refreshing.

I was to stay there, but at the time Covid was about and they were short staffed. I had had surgery and was told there would be no assistance with luggage, and there were no elevator. I was advised to cancel ( immediately after booking ) and was assured I would not be charged. So I was dismayed when my charge card bill came in and discovered that they had indeed charged me. Any attempts to have this corrected have failed, and they also have not responded to the Better Business Bureau. I advise anyone coming to Montreal to stay elsewhere!

Cool place! A nice blend of metropolitan buildings with European vibes and green areas. Some streets need better sanitation and waste removal or stricter litter laws. There are used coffee cups and garbages left on the floor instead of the trash can .
