I had surgery yesterday. I was asked to be there at 7:20 am but I was only taken to the operating room after 12pm. After the surgery the recovery room was the problem. 1st of all I wasn’t allowed to use my phone to call my husband. The nurse kept telling me that the secretary called him but what she didn’t tell me was that the secretary would only speak to him in French and just said I was out of surgery around 1:45pm. She said that she would call him when I was ready to be picked up an hour before. No one ever called and apparently the secretary leaves at 4pm so no one answered the phone and my husband was very worried. Also I understand that there was an emergency in the recovery room but I was forgotten about for a couple of hours. Nobody ever asked me how I felt, if I had any pain which I found very strange. My iv bag was empty for a few hours. Then the big issue was Dennis the prepose. He was so rude. I felt like he just wanted to have a power struggle with me. I wanted to use the bathroom and go home. I was told I needed to use the washroom 1st. He told me to stand up straight and not touch the bed. I was on one foot because of ankle surgery. I did this but apparently not to his liking. Then he said I had to put my hands to my side but again I didn’t do it to his liking then he wanted me to squat on my right foot twice before being allowed to go to the bathroom. He kept yelling at me to trust him but I obviously didn’t feel safe or comfortable with him. But I was told that I wasn’t ready, after refusing to go back into the bed I sat in the chair independently. I would have been fine to use the washroom at this point but wasn’t allowed. I felt like I was being held hostage, not allowed to use the bathroom and not allowed to call my husband who was very worried. Finally I asked another prepose to bring me a wheelchair and help me to the washroom, he and another nurse helped me but I was independently able to do all of the transfers and get dressed on my own. I knew my limits as I had the same surgery less than 2 years ago at the Jewish. I would always choose the have a surgery at the Jewish over Rockland Md. I was treated with dignity & respect at the Jewish. The staff at Rockland Md made a difficult day much worse and because I can compare it with my experience at the Jewish less than 2 years ago for pretty much the same surgery made it so much worse. My doctor , the operating team and before surgery care was really good.

Not at all professional team. The secretary was very stupid. The nurses don't know anything, they make nice promises so that when you arrive on the scene, nothing is good. Unprofessional staff, whether secretaries or nurses!!!

Avoid this hospital. This was my 5th colonoscopy, not my first rodeo. But this hospital didn't use the proper meds and not only was I very awake and aware, I felt ALL of the pain. They just kept telling me to relax. This IS NOT OK. If you had your first experience there, you need to know this is not normal. Then today my husband went for his first one, to my horror, at the same hospital and had the same experience. Just because it's a private place does not mean they get to treat you this way. They do not use enough sedation and no one should go through this trauma.

Absolute nonsense. Went to see a doctor, informed them I had private insurance and that the insurance would be sending forms over to be reimbursed. Two weeks later paperwork still as not been filled out. You need to be improve your customer service as I have other options and other clinics that will gladly accept my money.

I have to tell you that I am quite picky about customer service. As soon as I arrived, the welcome from the receptionist was very friendly and professional. The waiting room is only for patients and unfortunately many patients do not follow the instructions despite the posters. I was subsequently welcomed by Mr. Jean Daniel who immediately put me at ease. Smile and listen. Nurse Marie-Julie was remarkably helpful. She was present with me and aware of my pain. His help was greatly appreciated. Dr. Stephanie Marcil was exceptional and professional. She took the time to learn about my situation and put me at ease. She answered my questions throughout the procedure. She took her time and did a very good job. Take the time to answer questions. Thank you to this great team.

Can't reach anyone by phone. I tried 4 times in a row then just called somewhere else. Twice the person picks up then hangs up, and the other two times you are simply returned to the top of the menu and you start all over again for another person to simply hang up on you when you say "hello". Listen to your calls.

I had a sinus operation 3 days ago under general anesthesia and I only have good words about this clinic. Everything went smoothly and everyone was very nice and helpful. I had to be there at 7h05 and I was home by 2pm. I strongly recommend this clinic!

My brother had a surgery yesterday, he arrived on time. They followed their protocols thus I couldn’t enter with him. They told me that he’s surgery will be done at 2pm and gave me some introductions. The doctor and his team were amazing! We had a question regarding his pain, we called the emergency and Melissa answered. She was kind and helpful. I hope everyone gets a good care at this facility! Stay safe and healthy.

$375 = 2 weeks waiting = seing doctor for 10 min. Bad observation with no clear explanation. The receptionist told me, I can pay then I have to upload the invoice to my insurance to get my money back. But my insurance rejected because they suppose to give me a price quote first then I upload that to seek approval. I had bad experience. I don’t recommend this place.

Have been a patient there for many years and have seen the quality of services go from bad to worse over the years. It culminated with an appointment taken for today at 9.50 am. We walked out at 11.15 am without being seen but he doctor, and after being shoved in a 6chair waiting room that had 11 people in there. So after standing fir over an hour (forget about COVID protocols being respected ) we decided to walk away. Have been on hold for over 25 minutes, transferred twice, trying to at least get our referral so we can go to another clinic. After being passed to different people we got a voicemail and left a message. I doubt we will hear back …… if I could give less than a star I would

Avoid it at all cost "Complexe Sante Rockland" 1. First they ask you to do a test and promise that they will call you in 2 weeks. 2 weeks passed, no-one calls. 2. After two weeks you call them back to ask for your results. They don't provide, they say that you need to talk to doctor and for that you need to schedule an appointment (even that you were supposed to get the reaults one they are ready ). Fine. You schedule another appointment in 2 weeks as nothing is available earlier. 3.2 weeks passed. No-one calls. You call back and ask why you did not receive a call. They say the doctor wa busy and that us why no-one called. Fine you asked why you were not notified that call was canceled and for when it was rescheduled. They don't reply anything and asking if you want to schedule another appointment (just in case you changed your mind ). They try to be nice to you and give you an appointment in one week. 4. Here you start fighting, as you already waited for 4 weeks. They being even more nicer, give up an appointment in the next 3 days instead of 1 week 5. Finally doctor calls. He spends less than 3 minutes (to be exact 2 minutesand 56 seconds (i am just curious how many such patient you need to have, that you spend only 3 minutes on call, and then next available appointment is only in 2 weeks)) and in this time he explains you your results and saying that they need to make another test, and schedule another test in 6 months. And the circle starts again. It is been 2 months since waiting for an updates... People don't understand that when you are sick or worry you need to have an update not in 2 weeks, not in 3 days, not today, but yesterday. As each hour of not knowing is killing even more, and it is good if there is nothing bad, but if there is something and some actions need to be taken, it actually can cause some real issues. For them, once you showed them your health insurance car and Québec payd them their money, you are nothing more than past...

Terrible service absolutely incompetent. I was transferred 4 TIMES and each time nobody knows what is going on. I keep getting told that I’m not in the right department transfered multiple times leaving messages no one can help me even though I have a file at this clinic. Don’t waste your money. Paying private isn’t better than public.

Excellent clinic! The nurse (Nadia) and the doctor (Dr. L. Rabinovitch) were outstanding. Humane, professional, attentive, warm and thorough. I was very impressed. Fast service and readily given an appointment on short notice. Bravo!

The clinic forgot to collect one sample for analysis, called my husband (instead calling me) to say that I should go and give it again. When I tried to call them, they answered in French. I asked if they could speak in English, the receptionist just said something in French and hung up on my face!!! I had many other problems with the administration and with the doctor but after complaining, everything was fixed by the Director Sylvie Laprise.

Would never go here again. I asked for an appointment at the downtown clinic and reiterated it many times. Realized the day of that they booked me at the other clinic. Too late to cancel because of cancellations fees, I rushed over to make it in time. When I sit down with the nurse to do my blood test someone is FINALLY able to tell me how much it will cost (we're talking routine annual blood test requested by my family doctor): $600! I'd asked via email and over the phone many times what the cost would be and kept being told someone would contact me to confirm. Never would have accepted had I known, complete waste of my time.

They did not have enough oxygen during my siblings surgery....booted then out quickly....my sibling was sent home where they fainted and had to be rushed back to the hospital and then needed emergency surgery for a bloodclot (performed at Montreal general) how does a facility not have enough oxygen for a surgery smh

It is extremely frustrating to join a private clinic, pay their fees, and not be able to get through on the telephone to make an appointment. Three members of my family spent far too long waiting for an answer and finally gave up.

I had an appointment with the endoscopy team and I cannot tell you how sweet every single nurse was. I was nervous and they were so lovely, joking with me, soft & attentive. They made a stressful situation relaxing !

I took a friend to get his ingrown toenail repaired. Dr. David Sanmiguel was very competent and efficient. The nurse, Elyssa was very kind and helpful. Thanks to the both of you. Additional information: Several weeks ago, my friend sent photos of his toe. It was quite red and swollen. Since the email was sent, there has been - no - communication on the part of RocklandMD. He also rang the office and left a message. No return call. I find this uncaring and unprofessional. It is shocking. The only thought one can have is that once the patient has been seen and paid, they must pay again for some simple advice.

I had an appointment with the specialist two weeks ago , and they managed to inform me just today that they don't have the specialist that works with my condition. While my condition has been so sever and I have counted on their treatment . They should've let me know earlier so I wouldn't wait for nothing!

If you are looking for an alternative to public health clinics where often resources and time is constrained, you will find professionals that will take the time, empathy and compassion to help you. My appreciation goes to the support staff, nurses and my doctor. They all make the effort in addressing your concerns. Thank-you !

I was very happy with the Doctor, Dr. Scheim. She deserves 5 stars. The office staff and nurses were welcoming and accommodating. But the communication between the doctor and the front desk needs to be improved. After my first visit, I was told by the Dr. that I would receive a call from the front desk re the blood test results and a subsequent appointment would be made for a follow up visit to the doctor. I never received a call and I made the appointment myself after waiting a few weeks. I reported this to the doctor at my follow up visit. At this visit, the doctor told me that they would definitely call me in one to two weeks to find out how the rash that I had was responding to the medication that she prescribed. I again never received a call. So improvement is definitely called for.

While my intake and surgery went well the receptionist refused to provide any information to my wife about my condition and aftercare. She would also not allow my wife to speak to someone else over the phone about it. The receptionist did promise my wife that medical staff would provide the information she needed when she came to pick me up but instead I was wheeled outside into the snow by an orderly who ran off while my wife was focused on putting me into her car. When my wife turned around to speak to him he was already inside and the clinic door was locked. Since it was late on Friday we were left to fend for ourselves as no one answered the phones all weekend.

Clean and modern facilities. Very professional setting. Dr. Scheim and the team of nurses are caring, compassionate and attentive to the patient’s needs and concerns. Dr. Scheim clearly and calmly responds to questions and engages with the patient on a human level. I never feel rushed with her. I always feel at ease at this clinic, and this is coming from someone who hates going to the doctor. Her logical and thorough approach are much appreciated. Appointment times are generally respected. Staff is fully bilingual. It is expensive for consultation, especially if you don’t have insurance, but this is a private clinic after all.. Test results are available within 24-72 hours usually. My only gripe is that it is difficult to get a hold of someone when calling. They make you wait awhile on the phone. Also, the receptionists can be rude at times; it depends who you land on.

This clinic is there for the big $$ I had a 5 minute call from the doctor just to renew one medication and that is all Usually when I call the clinic, I have to stay on line for an hour before someone answers . I begged them for a copy of my lab results once by email and once on the phone with no results. They are very fast on calling and charging ( using the trust of the most vulnerable) 180$ for 5 minutes wow.

I see Dr.Scheim at the clinic and am very happy with the care she provides. Very empathetic but also no-nonsense when it comes to telling you what you need to do. First time in a while I felt a doctor was actually listening to me during an appointment. As for the clinic itself, building was very clean, appointments are usually right in time and booking an appointment is quick (usually the week of or the following week). With COVID, there’s been a bit more miscommunication between the doctors and the front desk (receiving incomplete documenta) but it seems to have improved over the last few months

Excellent service, the nurses ans doctors were warm, attentive and caring Even if no one could stay with me, the staff, especially Betty, at the reception, made sure my parents we're informed of what is happening.

For a private clinic the service is really not where it should be. It’s a miracle if there’s a secretary available to take your call, and the only other way to contact the clinic is to either send an email or leave a message, which will both get you an answer in 2-3 days earliest. It’s very frustrating when you have a simple question you’d like answered.

Very unpleasant receptionist and lack of professionalism. She hung up the line on me while I was calling to simply get information about my appointment scheduled for the same week.

I went to 300 Dunbar for cataract surgery on Anne Pass. Everyone at OP works very respectfully, except one person L. She does not work professionally and does not think about patients. Indeed, she works with headphones in her ears and is not focused.
