I'm not one for leaving online reviews but for Danai and the incredible staff at House of Chef James Mitchell, I feel compelled to do so. House of Chef James Mitchell catered our wedding in August and it was hands-down the BEST decision we could have made! The food was beyond incredible, the staff were simply amazing and Danai, well, Danai is a Rockstar! Thank you Danai, from Lea and I, from the bottom of our hearts. You not only looked after the incredible food, but you looked after us. You are a huge reason our special day was what it was. We're forever greatly to you and all the staff. People have told us it was the best food they ever had at a wedding, and I agree. Thank you again, truly... and the BUTTER!

Let me start off with a huge Thank You! Chef James Mitchell and his wife Danai are beyond amazing. They executed our wedding catering flawlessly. From the first phone call to the picking up of our catering we were treated like family. Danai is superb with people and excitingly planned a "Country style Picnic" Lunch and finished with a evening of stellar dinnertoire styled bites. Chef James everything you and your team made was perfect to the tee. We couldn't have been any happier. I would recommend their services to anyone at anytime. James and Danai were incredibly kind and professional. The food was amazing and we had nothing but positive feedback from our guests. I can't recommend this place highly enough. Let's start with food, the food was quite frankly spectacular. The flavor of the food is fantastic, the presentation is phenomenal and the concept is incredibly unique. Everyone at our event was thoroughly pleased with the food, with many of our guests asking if it is possible to purchase some produce (that butter was incredible!). What about the staff? The staff was incredibly professional, very friendly and Danai was quite frankly the MVP. The staff fulfills every business obligation and then some and goes out of their way to accomodate you to the best of their abilities. There is constantly an open line of communication, the menu was well explained, etc... That being said, the service goes way beyond the established business commitments, from A to Z we felt accompanied and supported, we didn't feel like customers but rather that there was a genuine desire to help (many tasks and challenges taken on being duties that were out of scope). Having chosen House of Chef James Mitchell for our event, I can say not only were we blessed to have found them but moving forward, I'm looking forward to future events as, I already know who to call! The Junior Chefs program an amazing course for young people!!! The instructor, Chef Amanda, is an absolute gem who teaches her students much more than just culinary techniques. Yes, your child will get to taste new foods, learn how to chop, prepare, and present new dishes, host guests, and understand the importance of food handling safety, but they will also get a huge boost to their confidence through acquiring new skills and working in a respectful environment. Highly recommended!

Our daughter went to Junior Chef camp and had a wonderful time. The camp was a great experience and she had a blast. Great service, great teachers, great program, we cannot say enough about what a wonderful experience it was.

One word WOW ! We recently had Father's Day catered with a fantastic assortment of goodies. From the moment we met Chef James when picking up the food (he is so pleasant & friendly!) to finishing all the food the event was wonderful thanks to the non-stop compliments everyone gave on the food! It made the day & you are now our go-to caterer. On a side note: great care was taken by the staff to ensure that allergy alerts were adhered to. Thanks again : )

We ordered the sandwich boxes for lunch on our wedding day and they were so delicious! The team was friendly, responsive and punctual. The individual packaging was perfect for a covid-safe event and our friends and family enjoyed the meal.

The most amazing appetizer put together. Just delicious. You guys are the best!! You create food that brings people together and everyone loves it. Your menu choices are excellent. Presentation is gorgeous. Everything is perfect we want more. When the doorbell rings and I know it’s you guys delivering our food the house goes wild!! Amazing good, that your entire family will enjoy! And the best part is that I don't have to do anything other than pick my meals. Ordering online is easy and the delivery option is great, even if you're not home since they'll leave the food in your cooler. My entire family loves Chef James Mitchell's meals, and my kids are very picky, which makes it hard to find food that they enjoy! I’ve tried a few caterers and Chef James Mitchell is the best I’ve found, not only for the quality and taste of the food but also for the price/quantity ratio. Thank you to the team for making my life that much easier!!!

Thank you so so much to Danai and the entire team for making our wedding day even more special through your food. The cocktail bouchées were so yummy and fresh (grilled cheese to die for!). Those gorgeous whipped butters was something we had never seen before. Service was impeccable, the food was delicious and the presentation was beautiful. Highly recommended for brides and grooms who are looking for something creative and out of ordinary to present to their guests!

My 7yrd old daughter has been going to classes here on a weekly basis for the last month and it's absolutely amazing! Thank you to the entire crew that make this class available. The energy and the food she is making is wonderful. The whole house is warm and inviting and all the kids seem to be having a great time and being creative. Thank you Chef!
