The owner of this place is great, and the food is the best Indian food I've had in Ottawa by far. I rave about their food every chance I get. For some reason, there was a mix-up about them discontinuing their indo-chinese menu, and even though their Momos are our favourite, we thought we'd give it another shot for the rest of the menu. Happy to say the legendary momos are still around, and the rest of the menu is also better than most other Indian restaurants.

Good portion & tastes great! I’ve ordered from here several times now, was first introduced to this place from a colleague that recommended their momos. Have tried the chicken & paneer momos, mixed veg curry, and lamb curry. No disappointment! Haven’t had a chance to dine in… only takeout so far. I wish they opened earlier though, would definitely order more often for lunch.

Food is super delicious😋 I had butter chicken, butter naan & tawa roti, everything was fantastic. I highly recommend this restaurant. Had tandoori momos for the 1st time in Canada & they were mouthwatering & delicious 😋 Rishi Bhalla

Tried the veg momo manchurian. The taste was good. Loved it. Just felt gravy should be less. And yes, there is no dine in. We were standing and eating.

We come from Montreal to get momos from here . Definitely worth it ! It’s not so expensive, but we always spend a lot coz it’s all soo good . Must try Afghani chicken momos and tandoori chicken momos . Great environment. No place to sit. But they have a standing table to eat in the restaurant.

This Authentic Infian cuisine is a gem. My husband and I got the Chicken Momos, Lamb Vindaloo, Butter Chicken, Zeera Rice, Garlic Naan and Gulab Jamun. All of the food that we ordered was cooked to perfection, flavorful, absolutely delicious and came in huge portions. On top of that their staff were so friendly, Arsh gave us great recommendations and was able to meet our desire level of🌶. We will surely come back again and again to try other items from the menu. If you wanna order from home you’ll find them on all the delivery apps or call them directly.

I want everyone to know how good the food is. I ordered the butter chicken with garlic naan... ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. I had the luxury of speaking to the owner. He is very kind and you can tell right away that there is love and care in his food. Very happy to have this business in my neighborhood.

HORRIBLE RESTAURANT IN OTTAWA. FOOLED BY THESE FAKE REVIEWS. EXTREMELY HORRIBLE UNEDIBLE FOOD. Ordered the veg fried rice, aloo tiki, chicken momos and spring rolls. Great spot for late night takeout. Food was fresh and tasty. Good service too.

I had to go in “The Curry Palace” is a big name and I love curry! Brocken down place. Not very clean. A little hole in a wall really. One young man alone working. I ordered a lamb curry ( medium spicy) He warmed it up and added the fresh cut hot peppers. It was $14.99 and nothing came with it. About 4 ounces in a plastic take out container. I would have like at least a naan for 14.99. Flavor was really good but too too watery and a grainy feeling.. I think it was near the end of its life. Would I go back? No. Sadly I wouldn’t go back for that.

Wonderful food and fantastic service. They were very kind, they even gave my daughter a free delicious Mango and Yogurt drink. The Butter Chicken was great, the Naan was fabulous and the lamp Kurma was hilarious. I’m definitely repeating my visit to this restaurant.

UPDATE: changing my three star review to five stars because the restaurant was extremely responsive to this review and brought us a couple new dishes, free of charge. The customer service is impeccable and like I said before, the food is delicious The food was delicious. HOWEVER. We ordered about $185 worth of food, and for the amount that was paid, the amount of meat in the sauce was extremely disappointing. The lamb vindaloo for example, was delicious. However for $21 you'd think you'd get more than 5 small pieces of lamb in the pool of sauce. Overall delicious food, but very disappointed in the amount of meat that was given.

We were on a trip to Ottawa so want to have Indian food .. so ordered here via Uber .. the butter chicken with Naan was super Tasty and it was fresh and we even had it the other day .. but the tandoori leg with rice was not that good and also we had chosen drink “Canada dry “ with the order but it did not came with the package

Headed out to this place after a very long time. Love their momos which are always hot and fresh! Placed an order for take out last night but sadly they had no spring rolls left. Received a call immediately that spring rolls were all out which was nice instead of being disappointed. Tried the chicken momos but they got a bit soggy as we ate them after coming home. The tiny starter hara bars kebab was nice. Big fan of their sauces spicy red one and the white one. Not spicy but loaded with taste. Do check out this place for lunch or snacks affordable and tasty!

I had really tasty Indian food here after a long time. Highly recommended! We had the chicken fried momos, chicken biryani, harabhara kabab and gulab jamun. All of them tasted great!

Stumbled upon this absolute gem during my last week in the city and I must say what a delight our meal truly was. So glad to see a restaurant in Ottawa serve absolutely delicious momos! The tandoori chicken momos , the munchurian momos and spring rolls are a must have! The portions are quite decent for the price paid.

Tried this restaurant last night and will definitely come back again. Great portions at a good price and good quality. Their hours go late which is nice for late night food. Staff was very friendly. No dine in but the store seemed busy at 11pm, meaning it was a well known place to grab dinner. Thank you for a great experience.

Best Indo Chinese in Ottawa… Momos and Hakka noodles were just mouthwatering. Chicken Manchurian and chilli chicken were very good as well. Customer service was amazing. Though they do not have Hakka noodles in their menu - however they still made it for us … and it was the BEST!!!!! Definitely going back!!!

We did an order through skip the dishes at 4:45pm on a Sunday and the food was awful. I was excited because they have many positive reviews but 1) they completely missed putting rice for a small order 2) the butter chicken was nearly inedible. The sauce was mediocre but the chicken was so old and chewy I actually threw it out instead of eating it. 3) the garlic naan was fine 4) the vegetable samosas were fine It was so disappointing and such a waste of money. It tasted like very old chicken and was clearly assembled so sloppy. We will never order again and stick to ordering at the spot closer to us.

This is one of the most highly regarded Indian restaurants in the city for good reason. This place is my go-to curry house. Definitely try their Butter Chicken, it's easily the best I've had with a very complex blend of spices. Their Karahi Paneer is great too, with a very good balance of paneer and vegetables. The naan is made fresh in-house and is quite thick and hearty. They have some Hakka options: The Chicken Manchurian was solid, but I was expecting it to be a little more spicy. Portion sizes are fantastic, the takeout container is always full to the brim. I usually get two meals per item and most curries come with a side of rice. Their customer service is fantastic. Since I'd liked their curry so much, I called ahead to place a very big order without too much advance notice, and the owners helped me out directly with pickup plans and a special payment method. If you want to get a lot of curry fast, they can do it! I will update this review more as I work my way through their whole veggie menu! 😋

I ordered paneer Makhani, I found hair pin (jura pin) inside 😭so i could not eat it. I have to throw it. I wasted my money . Otherwise I always have good experience with curry palace but only this time. This bad experience happened with me😭😭😭 after having this I did womiting 3 times. So bad experience this time

Tried their famous chicken momos & spring rolls. The butter chicken is very flavourful and halal Hakka chilli chicken was amazing. Mango lassi is another must try for mango lovers ;) would definately come again for more ..

Got chicken Masala curry and it was very much disappointing. Taste was not good at all. Will not go again

The food was amazing. We got the butter chicken, it was very tasty and creamy. The mango Lassi is a must try! Their Momo's are good too. Don't forget about the garlic naan 👌
