Horrible! I waited 7 hours for a simple x-ray that they took in 10 min. The waiting times were incredibly high even though we were only two patients online. The worst part is that they didn’t even reveal the x-ray results with me because they said they were not allowed to. Screw them. The staff is very incompetent and mean. They don’t care about the patients at all. Now I’m leaving the hospital with the same problems I arrived. Please run! Don’t waste your time

If it's a matter of life or death, avoid this Emergency. Passed triage, the nurse put us on so called high priority level 3 and yet still seating since 12 hours to be called... Don't know how many more hours !

I spent 24 hrs in ER, Dec 31-Jan1, IV antibiotics, received wonderful care. Returned Jan 2 with severe reaction to follow up medication (as instructed by pharmacist), told by triage nurse to speak French and wait in line like everyone else, or call info sante. One bad triage nurse ruined this hospital for me.

14h wait (with an asthma attack) to see someone. I never got to see a doctor. After a nebulizer treatment I was left alone for 2h before someone checked in on me. Then I'm told they won't get to me for at least another 6h and was asked if I wanted to go home. I did.... I went to nap and came back 4h later. Guess what? They signed me out with a refusal of care and told me aid have to wait my turn again. Maybe I should have asked before leaving but if I didn't sign a refusal of care, why would I have to? Turns out it was pneumonia in both lungs and not just asthma. I dont leave 1* reviews. I can always find one good thing about a place but here? The triage nurse was nice enough but nothing makes this a 2* place.

I waited over 15 hours in the emergency room for a concussion on Monday. When June the security guard started his shift he was really nice and Compassionate His shift finished at 8 am and he came to see me and made sure I passed He went to see each patient that was there to ask them if they were ok and if they needed something He went above and beyond and wS more helpful than triage or receptionist working there You should hire more people like him He is a really nice and caring person Thanks so much for your help June!

I have been waiting for 4 hours now but I am not surprised as I know the stories of waiting for 10-15 hours. My complaint is about super uncomfortable chairs that have given me back pain! It is very cold and I am shivering as well! They should really make this waiting room comfortable as the waiting time is insane!

One star is way too generous. Should have the option for 0 stars. An absolute joke of an emergency waiting room. Don’t waste your time here, go elsewhere.

Came in with pain in abdomen and can’t pass a stool for more the 2 days. They stuck me with an with an IV and put me on a bed in the emergency in the hallway. Asked me if I wanted pain meds then kicked me out into the waiting room hospital hospital gowns, and IVs still in waiting for over seven hours. Go to private healthcare is a waste of time.

I'm whaiting for 6h and I have just asked about a prediction .. at least more 11h to wait. I know that a broken finger can't kill my daughter. But a have no choice. Its not possible to solve by my self.

Thank you to the nurses, doctors and security guards in the emergency department for their excellent service and attitude when my boyfriend's finger was injured by a machine in a factory. We appreciate their care. However, the waiting time was extremely long. We arrived at 3:30 p.m. and didn't see a doctor until 11 p.m., and my boyfriend's finger was numb and swollen the whole time. Although I value Canada as a foreigner, the healthcare system has failed us. In our home country, we can consult a doctor in less than half an hour, regardless of the time or hospital, without the need for a prior consultation with a nurse.

9 hours of waiting and pumps are prescribed. At least blood tests and chest x-rays.

I am so grateful to the ER doctors and nurses for treating me this week, during the most terrifying night of my life. It took about 1 hr for my number to be called at triage, but upon seeing me, and my wife stating what had occurred and my symptoms (I was in no condition to speak), I was put on a stretcher and taken in for treatment. Nurses checked on me and my vitals throughout the night, and I felt I was in great hands by both doctors that treated me and ran the tests they needed to. I’ve had 2 terrible and long 15+hr wait experiences in other hospitals in the past 5-6 years (but my emergency levels were not as severe as this) so I’m glad it wasn’t the case at Lasalle. 🙏 Hope you readers get the same.

I have always had impeccable service from this hospital, some staff can seem rude but only because they are overworked and underpaid, I think the government needs to see they all deserve higher pay, more time off, and increase their benefits

ON NOV26/2022 I CUT MY FINGER VERY BADLY WITH A HANDSAW, I LIKE TO THANK DR. RYAN HUNT AND THE STAFF IN THE EMERGENCY DEPT. FOR THE MANNER THEY WORK ON MY INJURY TO STOP THE BLEEDING. DR. HUNT AND STAFF WORKED VERY HARD AND THEY CALMED ME DOWN. DR HUNT WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND SHOULD BE COMMENDED FOR A GREAT JOB IN TREATING ME. HE IS A GREAT ASSET TO OUR HOSPITAL. Nice staff, not very busy but long wait times. No system to let you know how long the wait will be. The only outlet I see is in the infectious waiting area.
