The lady at customer service was sweet, but other than that, ugh, the girl I had a proper interaction with... I hope you're in school because this is not the job for you! Just the look on her face...I can see she didn't want to be there. Supposedly, I also get this look when I'm unhappy, and I get it. It's in places and times I don't want to be somewhere. So girl, go home! Customers don't want to see that 😒

The website shows that local stock is always available, but when you go 1 out of 5 it's not. Traveling for nothing. It happens too often now and the employees always say they are sorry but they don't fix the issue or help you find stocks. I still see the items available now.

Avoid this place if you don’t want to be profiled!!! I would give them a zero but I can’t….google does not allow zero rating…, Customer Service is negligible. You have to spend way too much time trying to find stuff with no help then they follow you around watching you as if they expect you to steal something because of your race and Color… instead of asking can I help you.. and the manager as well as staff stop you as you’re leaving the store even when they have watched you pay for your goods. They profile visible minority women who are successful every time…I’ve seen it happen to others more than once.

Had always had a really good shopping experience here until yesterday that while shopping was cornered by a team member introducing a Canadian tire Visa card and asking me questions repeatedly and non stop standing not even one step from my face! I felt so overwhelmed, uncomfortable and upset with this conversation being forced on me and the repeated, void questions. I don’t blame the team member since I could clearly see they were following a certain guideline to introduce the promotion available at the moment BUT first train your staff on human connection and genuine conversations then make them memorize the details of what this promotion covers. The main question is whether someone is actually interested in the offer even though it comes free of charge. I was so shaken from being cornered in this manner that I dropped the rest of my shopping just to be out of there as quick as possible.

After purchasing a product from this store and being unhappy with its quality, I returned it within the provided timeframe. A man named Ramon approached me and, in an impolite manner, insisted on only allowing an exchange for the same item. I expressed my dissatisfaction and made it clear that I desired a refund, not a replacement, but he cited store policy as the reason for his decision. My frustration grew not only due to this unspoken policy but also because of his discourteous attitude. I confronted him about his disrespectful behavior and discovered that the person before me had faced a similar issue. In the end, I had to contact the store headquarters to address the unprofessional conduct of this individual. However, it's been two months since then, and I still haven't received any follow-up.

I bought some pretty place mats here last month, and the metal tabs on the sides totally scratched the brand new table I had bought them to protect. I went back with the original receipt, the barely-used place mats and pictures of the scratches but was told that I could not get my money back because they wouldn't be able to sell the place mats to another customer. :( I am extremely disappointed with their exceptionally poor customer service, not to mention with my scratched table.

Very large Canadian Tire Store. I went to buy Bread Toasters and found very good and cheap toaster. Pros ➕ 1. Large number of items belonging to categories of electronics, domestic items, furniture, clothes, etc. 2. Very Well organised. 3. Store is very clean. 4. Staff is very friendly. 5. Self Check-out kiosks are available. Cons ➖ 1. i found that furniture was a bit costly but that’s a personal opinion.

This review is only for the plant section. I bought a large pothos here and within 2 days it started shrivelling - I noticed the soil was still extremely moist despite not having watered it at all. The drainage holes in the pot were all blocked, the plant has severe root rot and likely will not survive. Considering how hardy pothos plants can be this shows how poorly they take care of the plants. Massive waste of money, go somewhere else for plants.

I bought two storage boxes and a shelf. It was super heavy so I had them delivered. The Delivery person carried everything up FOUR FLIGHTS OF STAIRS...no elevator! They were on time, professional and personable. I was very impressed with the service and most of the workers at the Alexis Nihon Plaza location, were in their mid-twenties it seemed. Very multicultural, multiethnic as well. I like supporting Youth! They need to hire old people too 🤓🤓😀

Canadian Tire is chain of huge stores across the Canada. These stores cater the needs ranging from a pin to machines, kitchen ware, cutlery, home needs, building stuff, baggage, sports, mountaineering & camping, casual & winter wears, stationary, decoration, plants and......... What not. Heavily stocked store full of racks.

Tried to return boots that's been used for 3 days, within 10 days after the purchase, and was told I can only exchange bc the boots are used. I said I could've deep clean the shoelaces and told u it's never been used and the customer service lady started to insult me. "You may try it on someone else but not me. I'll remember your face!" I've been honest and told her it's been used for 3 days. Never did I expect such an insult!

I have been a regular at this place for a long time. But lately, my experiences coming here have been fairly negative. Still, I come back and shop here. However today, during what should have been an easy return, one of the employees opens the box of the item, rearranges it, turns around and accused me of using the item because everything was out of place. Of course, this was because said employee opened the box, as the item was never opened. Its disgusting behavior, and has lead me to believe this store is just becoming terrible. I apologize to all the actual good employees that work here though, most of them are great. But some really shouldn't be working here. Or should at least be trained better.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE, DO NOT COME .I bought a product on sale. I saw it has a broken package and the reason for it’s on sale was written as “opened “. After I came home,I opened the package and found there’s an item missing. I go back to customer service and ask for the missing item. They tell me “opened means something inside are missing“. I can’t accept this. In my opinion,”opened “just means opened, if it has missing items, they should write this on the description. And I can’t exchange or ask for refund because it’s on sale. So I payed 6 dollars less by buying a a product has damaged package and missing a 15 dollars item inside.

Wow what a great store. I've seen multiple canadien tire store but never like this one. So much choice of product. They even have a interior greenhouse! All the row are well identify and items are pretty easy to find around the store. We spoke with few employee and all of them have been really nice and kind! Such a great experience!

Worst skate sharpening of all time. My blades were literally better off and sharper with rust on them. Do not go there to get your skate sharpened.

It's a huge store with so many things to buy from. Staff is very friendly. I had to ask them multiple times where a specific item could be located, and they were eager to help me at all times. Located in the basement floor. I bought a Yoga mat and few paper markers. Would highly recommend this store for your household needs. The only downside is that there weren't too many options to choose from dumbbells. They had 8 pound and then 35 pound. Nothing in between.

The staff at this Canadian Tire are so so nice. The check-out and customer service staff are all incredibly nice, helpful, and patient. Honestly, I hope they all get raises because they 100% deserve them.

Hi. It’s nice to see that previous reviews are acknowledged by the owner. I was trying to find a way to give feedback, which I need to do regarding the curb-side pick up, which did not go very well for me today. Please consider clearer signage on where to go for pick up (since that is what my order confirmation tells me to look for), and perhaps also find a way for those who pick orders up to not then have to go into the mall to validate the parking ticket. Curbside is a great option for people with kids or mobility issues, but having to go into the mall to validate the parking negates the accessibility. The convenience is also undermined by having to wait 25 minutes (AFTER finding where to go) to get a single item. I will conclude by saying that the store is nice and clean and amazingly always has what I need in stock, including items I would not expect to find “downtown.” Pick up just needs a little attention.

Visiting Montréal and decided to go venturing out via monorail. Needed a luggage strap and walked into Canadian Tire, didn't know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised by the wide variety of items I actually saw. Didn't find and exact luggage strap but found something very comparable that will work just find. I was literally expecting it to be a auto parts store. Glad it wasn't 🤗

Some staff is more helpful than others. (Seriously, you don't know where the electrical tape is and don't bother to find out??). Self serve cashes are horrible. Make you want to leave everything you were buying and walk away

Besides there extremely unreasonable return policies, the customer service staff at this store is the absolute worst. The customer service girl literally yelled at me just because I was trying to comprehend their unrealistic return policy, left me and went to get someone else without even telling me, and finally a ruder person comes, surprisingly a supervisor and gave me a very hard time. Mind you, when she left me unattended without explanation, I saw her giggling in the corner with that supervisor? And ofcourse he came back to not help me and gave me the worst customer service. They treat people like we are liars and begging for our hard earned money! The product is not sturdy, they refuse to refund it, which is fine by me, but they also refuse to give you a credit voucher. I have to exchange it for the same item or something more expensive, and not something less expensive. I am ok with the unreasonable policies, but their attitude and customer service is unmatched and wouldn’t wish it upon my enemies. Eventually i had to submit because they give no logical solutions, so I had to exchange for the same product that I hated in the first place! I didnt mind buying anything else in the storenin exchange of my returned item, but No, I can only exchange for the same item or a similar one of higher value and price. The regular staff are friendly and experienced, (beside those young students who dont know what's is going on and what they do in the store!!). Some items are overpriced, like kitchen stuff,,,but bbq, maintenance, organizing stuff,... have reasonable price.

I always find that if you walk into a store expecting good and friendly service, you almost always get it. Remember that the clerks are just like us and what we give we will receive!

Always find something needed at home on sale. I just got an Ac 500pBtU for 175$ tx included. Works away better than the old one at home. Service is great, they just added a new party 🥳🎉 section. Mot Big, but very practical. The summer sections are so so nice and full of stock.

Pretty big Canadian Tire, located underground attached to Atwater metro. They have good prices, the employees are friendly and helpful and they have self serve cashes if you’re not in the mood to socialize.

Love love love this store! It has everything you need to start fresh in a new city. I bought my vaccum, heater, instant pot, microwave, table and chair from here and everything works a-okay. The staff was very helpful and special mention to a Moroccan staff( I forgot his name). He helped us load the items in our cab in bad weather conditions, all with a friendly smile.

I love this store. I do not love the selection of women's safety boots. There's about 1/4 the selection in comparison to men's boots. A large part of the selection for women includes suede boots, boots that are bright pastel colors in the pink palette and boots with heels that are more plastic than rubber; the heels that make a clackety lack as you walk. As a woman who works in this industry I can attest that we have a very difficult time blending into and being accepted into the trades fields due to our gender alone. We don't need cotton candy boots. We need safe, practical footwear that fits comfotably and looks like everyone else's; not clickety clackety shoes that indicate our presence at all times. Let's do better.

Canadian Tire was not crowded at all. Always get what I needed there. Not you need a vaccine passport to shop there. I am all for it because if everyone of us do our part to help with this pandemic. The better it will be for all of us. I give a positive tick to the government.

I bought a bed sheet from this branch and the color was not suitable for my home decor and after only two days I returned it as it is and wrapped. The seller ignored me and went to another customer, and when I asked for supervisor whose name is Julie or Joie, they created a problem with me and prevented me from returning the sheet under the pretext of opening it, ignoring the company's policy, which is three months To return and a year to replace and I went to another store and returned it in one minute with easily !!!!

The worst shopping experience now. No cashiers but all these ridiculous self checkout machines and you have to purchase bags at their ridiculous price or walk with a bag. Random shopping has become a pain now because stores expect you to walk out their stores with goods in your hands, or purchase a bag every time to make a visit visit. No wonder all these retail stores are losing money to online shopping like Amazon. You hardly see customers walking around the store now. Not planning on any more visits to this store for certain. I had to walk out the store with big pack of knives I randomly purchased. Ridiculous that now stores are not responsible for providing free bags for customers goods.

It's a Canadian tire. Like a giant convenience store. Not enough selection in most departments to be a one stop shop. Return and exchange policy is not competitive. Service is randomly poor or good. Staff knowledge of products is inadequate.

Very well organised place, except for the fact that you might wanna check the discounted price with the salesperson before you actually buy it. Because, I bought a bag which was differently priced in the range and the excuse was, someone else kept that article in a discount shelf which was actually not for discounted price. Embarrassing situation. Next time, i would like to cross check before I buy from them.
