Went to the E.R. early Wednesday morning with severe unexplained swelling on every limb of my body. I was asked if I had any COVID-19 symptoms and I said I wasn’t sure. Upon saying that, my medical issue was soon overshadowed by the possibility of my being exposed to the virus. As I was the only person in the waiting area, my name was soon called to go to room #16 where I was startled to see an elderly gentleman sleeping on the examination table. I went to the security desk and was then ordered to room #13. I waited for an eternity only to be diagnosed by a junior resident who looked like he was going through the mid stages of puberty and SUPRISE, his primary focus was the possibility of my COVID exposer. I then asked him if he would address the swelling and he said “You should make an appointment to see your family doctor about the swelling.” I then waited for almost another hour before a nurse hastily administered a COVID test. Their E.R. department had NEVER addressed my primary medical concerns, choosing to solely focus on the possibility of my COVID exposure. Luckily, I called my doctor and got an appointment for the following Tuesday afternoon. After waiting for over 48 hours, I again called my doctor to see if he could find my covid test results. Shockingly he verified that my COVID test results were inconclusive as he explained that the plastic tube that houses the swab was broken at the hospital causing contamination and making my COVID test results useless. It’s important to note that nobody at the hospital bothered to call me for another COVID test and so I waited days not knowing my results. Not to be cheeky, but the services provided by my cat’s veterinarian are so much better than the services I got at this hospital.

The worst hospital in Quebec. I rather die at home than come to this hospital next time. I came in at 5 pm with my 10 month old boy. His temperature was 40 with both Tylenol and Advil. and now it is 3:30 in the morning and no doctor saw him yet. The nurses gave him Advil and Tylenol 5 times and still not seen by a doctor. AVOID THIS HOSPITAL AT ANY COST

Nurses have no idea what's going on with logistics, and they don't give reassuring answers to patient. Bad communication, just let patients hanging there with no follow up. Wait and wait, no food is allowed, how long is my brother going to fast? We don't even know if he will be able to pass the surgery tonight. Should we keep fasting him for two whole days just because "you don't know"?

I visit today! Around 3 pm ! After seeing my gynaecologist! I kind of forget that if the nurse told me to wait in the room or they will call me inside again. So to clear that I went to main entrance where the nurse usually sits and band your wrist. Around 7:53! When I ask her I am not sure what the nurse told me, is it possible I can wait inside outside ? To be called ? She rudely replied me that what this way of talking to her , and I cant just come and ask them this question go and ask around the room 18. I understand people can have their issue but it’s really rude of her if she letting out on the patients. Hope your hospital take action toward those people. It’s rude to take picture without consent otherwise I would love to post her picture so people can be aware !!

Very efficient hospital but the bedside manner is a whole other ballgame. I will never go back and I'm sorry I cheated on you Lassale Hospital but that's where the Ambulance took me.

I don't understand all the one star reviews. I have been to the emergency two times at this hospital and it was critical they acted fast on me and gave me amazing care and staff are very friendly. I believe you have never been to the hospitals downtown... because waiting time here is a lot less.

I have been to this hospital many times and i have had a great experience so far. I didn't wait more than 5 hours in the emergency room even with full of people. The service i received was very good, no complaints whatsoever.

An ENT from this hospital performed my septoplasty in May 2021 because he told me I had a deviated septum and sometimes I could not breathe quite well through my right nostril. Now, after the operation I breathe worse, the right nostril is always obstructed even worse than before. Lately it is much worse, I have pain in the cheekbone that extends to the right eye and I feel water inside and swollen. I asked the doctor if he could refer me to have a tac or another exam to check it out but he replied that this must be treat by a dentist, not by him. I do not understand how someone like him can be called physician in this country and even worse, being paid with our taxes and provide this service that threatens our health.

Been to this hospital many times. Always top notch care. We are extremely lucky to have a professional hospital like this in our region. Thank you. Merci beaucoup.

never go to this hospital I waited 14 hours but they not called my name and go back home.

i was in emergency at 2am and now it's 24h that i am in emergency i have to wait agen. ufff, fake u canada, fake u hospital haut-richelieu

Waited thirteen hours for a room with a doctor. Nothing, no english intercom messages either so I gave up. What a mess

14 hrs in the ER with these idiots. Dont bother, go somewhere you will be respected. (Ontario etc). I guess a broken foot is extremely low urgency. I saw other ppl with minor cuts go faster.

Same day and out opération as very nice staff

I was brought in by an ambulance for chest pains and shortness of breath they had me in the waiting room for over 7 hours before seeing a doctor

Had a pain in my wrist i called off work thinking i was gonna have to wait 5 hours like the news say. Got in. Got out. 15 minutes had passed. Triage nurses are efficient and know to listen and ask the right question 10/10 would get injured again.

I waited for more than 12 hours at the emergency room.
