Overall, it was a nice hotel. It is geared towards business conferences. Very modern and open. The hotel restaurant was ok, their menu could do with offering more variety. Only downside was there was no hot water to shower in the hotel on our first morning, but this issue was fixed on the same day.

Most unethical and unprofessional people I have ever dealt with. Communicated a nightly rate through email and as well as a signed contract but called just prior to the event to cancel all our reservations, stating the price given to us was too low during the summer season. What a terrible and unscrupulous bunch of people.

I would give this a 0/5 star if I could. They cancelled my whole soccer teams booking and now we have no where to stay and said we could only keep our accommodation if we payed almost double the original price!. Will most likely need to back out of our tournament now as a result. Horrible communication and service. Will never stay here.

Service is judgmental if you don't speak French. Room was clean, and nice, but no fridge. Hot tub is not hot, warm at best. Pool was cold. Sauna works well. Restaurant has good food, but a little pricey. Male server was excellent, but the female waitress that took over half way through was judgmental about non-French speaking guests. Bed was too firm for my liking, but that is likely more preference based on each individual. Overall would not recommend staying here based on the price and overall quality of my stay.

this hotel is garbage. The rooms are old, toilet keeps getting clogged, shower temperature changes from hot to cold to burning repeatedly, they don't have daily room service, you have to schedule it in advance which is very inconvenient. After a 6 night stay, they charged me $200 cleaning fee. Stay away.

Super clean and modern hotel with great rooms and very professional staff. Many amenities and this hotel is located at a great location. Many restaurants and shopping areas near the hotel. Everything is close to proximity and pretty close to Montreal. Highly recommended.

The hotel was okay. Room design was odd as the bathroom door didn't fully close (by design) in a room with two beds. The pillows were the flattest pillows I've ever used in a hotel. The location is also so far away from everything and transportation to Montreal was a challenge. Would definitely recommend a place closer to Montreal as there's more to do and transportation is much easier.

We stayed 5 nights for the Montreal Grand Prix and would absolutely come back. The hotel was modern and clean. We did not need room service but did call down for things like utensils. The room we had did not have a fridge. We didn’t say anything to the front desk about it as we had already settled into the room and didn’t want to move, but being there for so many days, a fridge would have definitely helped. The Sens restaurant is great - my husband says they served him the best burger of his life! Ambience and decor out there is beautiful. I would definitely stay at this hotel again for next year’s GP. It’s about 10-15 min from the Longueuil metro station and you’re going the opposite direction from everyone coming from the race track so it’s super convenient. The only thing is the wait and surge rates for Ubers can be tricky.

We came here a few time, despite the staff being very nice, we will not come again. We checked in Sunday night , something was wrong with the HVAC first night, a person came to see it but did not know how to fix it. We were told a technician will be coming next day which never happened. Monday morning, trying to take a shower was impossible since the pressure was so low. I told the front desk about it and was told a technician would come same day… Monday night still not fix, another person came to tell us he needs to make a service call and on and on… and of course the hotel is fully booked so we can not have another room. Extremely disappointing !

I really liked this hotel, even though we didn't pay because we are Ukrainians, the hotel is spacious, modern, and delicious. Breakfast was free, as was the pool and gym. Service - good people communicate in 2 languages, French and English (some in Ukrainian)

Inconsistent rooms, some have fridges, some don't. I had to move rooms and my first room had a fridge. The next room didn't and the staff was difficult to deal with to get a fridge. Their response was that I am not guaranteed a fridge even if I had the first fridge full. The night manager has gone above and beyond to make my stay pleasant but the regular staff is just not accommodating whether they don't have the authority or just don't care. Carpet in the "older rooms" is stretched in some rooms and is a trip hazard. Internet is unreliable. Connections drop frequently and most of my time in the room has been spent using my hotspot as I need a reliable connection for videoconferencing. Thermostat won't go any lower than 19. The room is much warmer than I have at home at night so sleeping has been less than pleasant. For the money I'm paying compared to other hotels in the area, I don't feel like I'm getting good value for the dollar.

I spend a weekend once a year in Montreal for over 10 years and this is by far the best hotel I've stayed at. The moment I walked through the front doors, I was immediately greeted and sorted out. I stayed in the biggest room they had available and it was perfect. I highly recommend this hotel and I do plan to stay here again. Thank you Hotel Mortagne!!!!!

Clean hotel with good restaurant and bar. Small workout facility with a few treadmills and bicycle machines. Some weights are also available which I did not use. Also has a pool and hot tub which I did not use.

Stopped here for the night. There is a gas station very close to the hotel for drinks and snacks. Lots of restaurants around as well. Loved the super modern design of the room. The mirror lights up, there is a beautiful shower incased by glass that is right in the room. (Not your traditional bathroom) there are lights that change colour. Over all loved this place and the price was very cheap considering other hotels were asking over $200 for a Friday night. The staff was super nice. I highly recommend this place and if I’m ever in the area again I would definitely stay there again.

I experienced very serious safety concerns at this hotel where access to my room was granted by hotel staff to a person claiming to be me. I wrote this review to warn those travelling here. I loved the hotel but will not recommend or go back due to the response of the hotel employees and manager. After reports were made to the employee and manager, the manager attested that she had a lot of new staff and offered me a free drink from the bar or coffee.

Unfortunately this new hotel has poor front desk service. Hire more staff or change your checkin software. Rooms were very modern and comfortable, so if the service was better would recommend it.

I stayed with my wife and 3 kids in this hotel for 3 nights. Everything from the floor to the ceiling was impeccable. Beds were very comfortable and lot of pillows. There is a Tim Hortons in front of the hotel (where the gas stations is located) and they have a nice gym and indoor pool (we used it all). I will definitely will be back to this hotel in the future when I am back to Montreal.

Beautiful hotel. New section rooms are very modern... Maybe a little too much for me :) Food is delicious in the restaurant but was disappointed that the menu is restricted during week days (eggs benedict and French toast is only on weekends). I would recommend this hotel based on cleanliness essential, great staff and great service.

Great location Parking and restaurant 😋 Food was great Bring your own pillow..very flat pillow in my opinion There were not staff to help with luggage and cleaning services daily is not available If you want an extra towel ask the front desk I really enjoyed the pool There was a jacuzzi also that I didn't enjoy because some parents allow their kids inside ! There were No cameras to control that or staff to stop this So far so good this hotel is lovely 😍

Nice lighted hotel restaurant. Velvet seats at some tables making it hard to move. The breakfast was good. The bacon especially good. The service was poor. The were very little people in restaurant and 4-5 young waitresses all chatting together or looking at their phones. My elderly father had to walk across the restaurant to get a coffee refill because the waitresses weren't paying any attention. Not very well managed and above average prices

I have stayed at the Hotel Mortagne for as long as I can remember and since my grandkids live nearby it is the perfect location for me. More importantly, I can count on the food - breakfast is always delicious and the dinner menu is creative and consistently top quality. The new hotel section features modern, bright and quiet rooms. I have not stayed in the older section in the last 4 years but I have always found the beds very comfortable, the linen brilliant white and pillows for every need. My favorite addition to the hotel is definitely the wonderful outdoor dining and bar area.

Paid a 4-star price and received 2-star service. Unfriendly receptionist, who was extremely kind and nice to the guests in front of us. She just handed us the key, no smile. Then the waiter was amazing but then replaced by a waitress who wasn't friendly after finding out we were anglophone. I actually speak French so I could understand her speaking with the other table that had French Europeans and she was telling them how to tip and that she was planning on sleeping on Canada Day, because to her, Canada Day was irrelevant to her. She promoted Quebec birthday. There was no fridge, which would be expected in a 4-star hotel. The floor of the shower was old. The hot tub was as warm as a heated pool, not hot at all. The regular pool was super cold. There were other guests being loud and seemed to be drinking alcohol from water bottles. The receptionist also told us to park in the back, but then when we went in from the back, the elevator was right next to reception where we were. Room was spacious and clean. No bathtub, just shower.

We arrived, the place filled with flies and was very humid inside. The wait to be serviced took us 45 minutes before they told that there is no room for us and would have to wait ANOTHER 20 minutes. To which the completely unqualified hotel manager gave us a room which was untied up, seems like the people just left the room and what a STATE it was left in….sheets thrown all over the room, the towels all soaked in the bath. Hairdryer was on in the floor, it was disgusting we took our things to request for a new room, although we should’ve left the hotel at that point, to which the incredibly IQ lacking manager said that there is no other room AT ALL in the hotel. Worst experience ever wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy

Received great service at check in and check out. The hotel is very quiet and clean. The staff is very friendly. The room was nice and clean. The bed was very comfortable. Also enjoyed the Nespresso machine in the room. I have nothing negative to say about the hotel. Will definitely return if I have the chance.

Do not stay at this hotel if you speak English. They will be rude, unfriendly, unhelpful and ignore you. We waited 20min before the 3 girls at reception even spoke to us. They were chatting amongst themselves, look at us, give us dirty looks, and go back to their conversation. Our room was never cleaned the 4 days that we stayed there. Had to ask for clean towels, toilet paper, and water every day. And was met with an annoyed face and tone when we asked. None of the workers talked to us or looked our way. The hotel smelled like dirty mop water. The rooms looked nothing like the photos. Do not stay at this hotel if you speak English ** we were never told rooms are cleaned by request. What kindof hotel doesn’t clean rooms every day especially 4 star hotels? Also the staff were NOT busy with other customers. Or on the phone. They were talking to eachother and ignoring us as we waited to check in. **

My wife and I traveled to Montreal for a weekend away and stayed here. The hotel is a little more expensive than we would usually choose, but we found an online deal that we couldn't pass up. The room was nice, spacious, and clean and we would gladly stay again if we found another deal. The only downsides are the lack of free breakfast (have to buy from the restaurant) and the hotel is a little further from the Montreal core than I anticipated (closest metro station is a 10-15 minute drive).

Enjoyed all the facilities they offered! And the staff are welcoming and friendly. Wish we were on a higher floor for better view, but next time when we visit again. Definitely enjoyed our stay!

  • 4/5 Djaafar H. 9 months ago on Google
Overall, I love the hotel, the staff are friendly I guess as I dealt with them only at the check in and check out. The service is okay for me since I have used the restaurant because of the availability of HALAL menu. The rooms need improvement, they must add fridges, and they need a regular cleaning and lingerie change.

Decent hotel. Rooms do not have microwave, you need to pay extra to get one.

The best modern hotel I ever been. Super clean and fancy. The moment I stepped in the room, could not help wow out. I have been to a lot of hotels before, like some five stars in Las Vegas and some hotels in those place of interests. This one is absolutely gorgeous. Definitely will come back with my family again.😊

The hotel is conveniently located off the highway and lines up perfectly for the most ideal route to venture out further east in the province (more rest stops on this side of the island vs the other). The rooms are very modern and very very clean, with a nice in-wall mounted TV and super comfortable beds. If you're staying in Montreal and you drove to town, staying here is a no-brainer. The price is right, the location is great, and the rooms are solid. Would recommend to anyone driving in or planning to venture out further east in Québec.

Very clean. Very hospitable place. Close to St Hubert airport. Twenty min cab ride. Very close to gas stations and Mc Donald's and other places if needed. Wheel chair friendly.. staff speak both English and French..room had led lighting as well. So that was pretty cool for sure. Glad I stayed for sure

The location of the hotel is convenient but unfortunately, I was not satisfied with service. Coffee and water bottles were not refilled in my room. TV did not work on the second day of our stay, as it was the case with other customers from our group. I could not call the reception desk for the phones in my room had no wires to plug them. The water temperature of the shower was irregular, going from ok to boiling hot to cold in a cycle.

  • 5/5 Justin 1 year ago on Google
Staff was very polite and helpful. The room was clean and very nice. We enjoyed the pool and hot tube too! Really close to the highway, various restaurants, and shopping. We really enjoyed our stay!

The location of the hotel is convenient for us to see my family in longueuil but unfortunately, we were not satisfied with the hotel. Nothing against the employees of this hotel, but it is important to share our experience with other guests. The Ac wasn’t working properly and it kept turning off at night. The water temperature of the shower was irregular, going from cold, mild to boiling hot was whole challenge taking a shower m!! The bed was so noizy anytime we would make a move me or my husband. The tv is so small and so far from the bed makes it so uncomfortable watching tv.. very very old hotel! And this was just the least.. We told the reception about these issues and left all day expecting these problems to be resolved in our return, we came back and faced the same problem the next night. We couldn’t stay another night and checked out and left! We will not be coming back! I hope this reviews can help the management improve their accommodation.

Hotel looks as though it has been newly renovated. There is a nice restaurant and bar on the first floor. The room was beautiful, well-lighted, and clean. In the deluxe room, it was romantic, the shower was in the middle of the room so, good for couples. Location was below average. At least 20 minutes from Downtown Montreal and the area looked a bit sad. Many of the restaurants in the immediate area were closed. We did visit in the winter time so keep that in mind. Found it odd that there were no garbage bags in the garbage bins and that there was no refrigerator or microwave in the room. Overall a very nice and clean hotel if you're willing to sacrifice location and it was very pleasant to spend time in the room.

I liked the lobby interior , but I was very upset with the room cleanliness. I am highly allergic to the dust, and did not figure it out before morning ( we arrived late night), that the room was very dusty. The Carpet needs to be changed. Lots of spots. The room is not soundproofed at all. You can hear everything. So I would not recommend this hotel for anything but a quick one night stop.

Stayed there for one night yesterday and this was my second time in this Hotel. It is a nice hotel overall with the very good standard. It is very clean. I only had challenge with the service level of the front desk. It took an long time to check in and to check out. It is supposed to be much faster. Also I did not think the front desk staff was friendly.

  • 5/5 Lukasz K. 2 years ago on Google
Very elegant , service was exquisite and friendly , polite and accommodating. The room we had was an open concept with nice lights and glass and mirrors all around (as shown in the pictures). One small inconvenience was the water-bottle left when first coming into the room are tagged with a price which I was not informed of not a big problem, but definitely should have been addressee a little more accordingly not when I was checking out.

Love, love love this hotel! Stayed for one night (way too short!). The staff were friendly, the lobby was inviting, there was a pool table and area to hang out. On site restaurant (didn't try it). But the room was clean, nice and the bathroom was beautiful.

Have stayed here a few times and will again next time I am traveling through Montreal. The rooms are much larger compared to other hotels I've stayed at and are always clean. The staff is also always courteous. Note that the rooms I had (attached to this review) also had a jetted tub!

Hotel is nice, well decorated and very comfortable. Shower was great, there's plenty of parking and area is quiet. Only con was that internet was broken and they didn't know how to fix it. That's somewhat of a deal for international travelers and hence the 4 stars.

  • 4/5 Patti H. 1 year ago on Google
Girl on the desk pretended she couldn't understand my English or my French. I did try to speak French. Room was lovely and whirlpool was great. Young man who was a cleaner that we met in the elevator was really helpful and directed us to the pool. Thank you young man.
