We drove by The Corner and were appealed by the crowd, so we decided to pull over to ask how long it would take to get a table. The wait was better than our expectations and not too bad, about 40 mins. The decor is adorable, cozy and bright with limited indoor seating and narrow distance between tables. There wasn’t a great variety of options on the menu but pretty decent with daily specials. We got a pastry platter, Blueberry Pancake and Omelette. It was amazingly satisfying and delicate with great portion and reasonable price. Our favorites were the buttery biscuit and fluffy pancake with addictive apricot syrup. The omelette was also good and properly cooked. The staff was friendly, welcoming and served everything quickly. We really enjoyed our time there and highly recommend people who even just visit the town to give it a try.

I have been to many places around the world. Bacon is a part of breakfast. I would rate the bacon here as F-. It had no and I mean no flavor. It tastes like it was flash fried. Which is not the way to cook bacon. I could be wrong but I am also a Chef. I had a BLT and I would not recommend it. My Husband had oatmeal and a side of bacon which he said was also not very good. I have also Managed a restaurant for breakfast and lunch. I was also wait staff for Marriott and Holiday Inn. Maybe we picked the wrong items to eat because the place was very busy. So people enjoy something about this spot. Coffee was empty for a good 10 minutes and I know it was busy, but at breakfast there should be a bus person that just refills coffee in my opinion.

A bustling, small, locally owned eatery in Montclair that serves delicious food in decent portions at a reasonable price. The coffee was also quite good and the service was attentive and efficient. Be prepared for a bit of a wait if you go on the weekend as it is extremely popular. I would visit again.

I've always been curious about The Corner, having seen suchs large crowd outside on the weekends. I've gone now a couple of times and really enjoyed their brunches. The poached eggs and smoked salmon avocado toast is delightful. Their fresh juices are also delicious. I'm hoping to explore their menu more, but I've been quite happy with this one dish that it's hard to choose something else lol. I've taken home some of their bone broth, as well. I like my bone broth a bit more savory. It can be hard to find that balance, as too much salt will ruin the flavor, so it feels like they err on the side of caution, which tastes a bit bland. Still, I am looking forward to future visits. Nice spot. Just make sure you call ahead if you want to go on the weekend. There *will* be a wait.

This place is sooo good. There are so many people working that this place is a well oiled machine. The service is outstanding. Friendly staff great bar seating and perfect for small group walk-ins. The food is so yummy! The pancakes are unreal, thick and fluffy. The egg sandwich on a biscuit is also incredible, they asked if I wanted cheese and avo added…and of course I did. Pickled onions and the sweetness of the biscuit go so well together. The coffee is great, strong espresso. It is such a fantastic brunch spot!

This place… my my. 2018 prices on some of the best brunch type food you’ll find. They’re good at everything, coffee, cake, baked goods, savory breakfast sandwiches, full meals… there’s nothing bad here. And the best part? They’ve been doing it for years. Consistency is king.

5 stars for the biscuit, but maybe just 4 stars overall. The biscuit on the breakfast sandwich was incredible. Nice texture with just the right amount of crisp on the outside and great flavor. The bacon on the sandwich was okay. The sandwich overall was good. The pickled onions were a nice touch. The shoestring fries were full of flavor, but they were too thin in my opinion. They felt more like potato chips than fries. The breakfast burrito, though it had good ingredients, was bland and lacked salt and spice. Including a meat like bacon or pork sausage might improve it. On that note, we got a side of chicken apple sausage which was dry and disappointing. The coffee is solid and uses Colombe beans.

The Rosemary Shoestring Fries were amazing! They were thin, crispy, well-salted and, to my surprise, were mixed in with a few fried garlic chips, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I also ordered a burger (cooked medium) and a Cucumber Mint Lemonade. I enjoyed the burger, but it was a tad rarer than I'm used to, and, although the lemonade was refreshing, it was a little on the sour side. Overall, I still enjoyed my experience here and would return.

Very colorful place, service was TOP TIER, bathroom restocked perfectly, and wait time not too bad 10-15 minutes tops. The berry pancakes are to DIE for super fluffy and rich in taste. Don’t even get me started on the hot chocolate the BEST I have ever had!!

Hands down my most favorite restaurants/cafe ever! This is my go to spot!! I’ve tried many things on the menu and I have not found not one bad meal. It’s fresh it’s clean it takes something familiar and brings new life to it. Their baked goods are on point always! I always bring new friends here to eat brunch with me. It’s simply perfect. The staff is just as amazing. Enjoy your time here! Also! Best pancakes in the world!! 🥞🥞 Their prices are great too!!

It’s always been a satisfying meal every time we dine here at The Corner and we’ve enjoyed every meal we’ve had so far. On our recent visit, we got their corner burger which was nicely cooked and juicy. The shoestring fries were perfectly fried and paired well with it. I also got their grilled taleggio sandwich with chicken and it was delicious. Perfect for lunch I must say with tomato soup that I liked dipping the sandwich in to. For drinks we appreciated the latte arts on our coffees and loved how they tasted. Latte was bold and not so bitter. The cinnamon horchata latte special was very good and reminded me of the upcoming holidays. Oh and we love the kouign amanns here too. They are perfectly flaky sweet and was a good start to our meal. Indoors can be a little crowded bit definitely a vibe. Staff are friendly and polite, menu is not overwhelming and more importantly, both drinks and food are just consistently good! We’ll be back again for sure. TIP: always check out their specials!!

I was not a fan of this restaurant. There is cozy and then there is sardine can and this lingers on the latter. The selection of food was okay. Two of the best things I had were the shoestring fries and the chocolate crossaint. I would have taken a picture but they swep up your stuff so fast you barely get to enjoy conversation with your party. They throw you out as soon as they sweep up your stuff weather you are really ready to go or not, and it was pretty expensive for things you could have picked up at Whole Foods. So I probably won't come here again.

Great brunch spot in Montclair, a few blocks away from the busy main street. Fantastic food for a reasonable price, and the wait was not bad arriving around 10am. We tried the prosciutto & burrata toast and shoestring fried to share, and I highly recommend both. Would love to come back again!

Attention to table for one! Absolutely wonderful dine-in experience. This venue is small and tight-knit, but it creates a service and quality of food that highlights the great town of Montclair. I had a fantastic espresso with style, a chicken BLT with thin cut fries, and the bells and whistles beverage. I sat at the bar to enjoy my meal whilst the world around me seemed to melt away. 11/10 would recommend to a friend or small group, large party (5+) accommodation may need some time for proper seating.

Great brunch place with nice options. Place has limited space so staff is always in a hurry and you are literally asked to leave as soon as you are done. Otherwise food is great and fresh juices are awesome.

Couldn’t have had a better experience. From the service to the food to the ambiance to the fancy toilet - oh man this place is impressive. We will absolutely be back! Do yourself a favor and order a side of the sourdough toast. You won’t regret it.

Best biscuits I’ve had in NJ! First time eating at the Corner and it was great! We ate outside. The service was friendly and fast. The BLT and veggie has was delicious . And the biscuit was just wow! Overall a great spot for lunch!

This place did not disappoint one bit. The service, staff, food, and vibes were all on point! It was super busy, but they were turning tables over quickly so the 15 minute wait felt even less. I was recommended a number of items and decided to get 2, and they were outstanding: berry pancakes and the truffle deviled eggs. My husband got pork Benedict which I tried a bite of and that was very yummy too! Looking forward to coming here again. Thank you for a great first visit!

Service 8/10 Food 7/10 Ambiance 8/10 Loved my experience at The Corner. Notable mention to the hip tunes and good looking crowd. The food was really pretty excellent but there was always one thing that could have elevated the experience…a few examples… - breakfast sandwich was delicious and so was the biscuit but the biscuit should not have been the bread of choice for the breakfast sandwich- it was simply way too big and made it v difficult to eat - the green juice was also delicious but the froth on top lingered for the whole juice and made it difficult to drink w out a straw and I didn’t want to use a straw All in all I would def recommend! I loved their daily menu!

Great spot for breakfast or lunch. I had the Smoked BBQ Chicken Sandwich. Great tasting sandwich. My only meh was the “house chips” which were really more like potato stix (crunchy thin shoestring fries). They weren’t bad but I was expecting a chip per the menu. Lol. I would go back to try some of the other dishes. I went for a weekday early lunch. Not a big space so I can imagine a long wait on the weekend when outdoor dining is no longer an option.

Love this place. However, one glass of Orange Juice is overpriced, they needvto change that.. But this is a busy place, and I love Boogy! It has that Montclate Feel and a diver a w customer base of Native Montclare Folk. Staff is friendly, quick, and attentive. Totally recommend for Sunday Brunch. On a summer day, get their early for a good seat. This place gets packed. The food is tasty, and the OJ is the absolute best fresh squeezed.

This is one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had. Great vibes, good drinks, and beautiful food. The flavor is out of this world. You think you know what a scone is? Think again. Prepare to have your standards substantially raised by every item you try at this place.

This cafe is the cutest and best one I have had in a really long time. The service is excellent as well and they pay attention to much detail. To begin with, their avocados are never hard and that is very rare in the United States. They always put some design on your coffee orders and the sauces taste homemade. In addition, they have very freshly made pancakes that are to die for. When you eat you will taste the high quality of ingredients and the servers always seem very happy to serve you. The place is very clean as well and the bathroom has a special toilet that warms the seat for you. Very fancy. Overall, great food, great quality, great service, and great prices.

The pancakes were absolutely delicious but the smoked salmon on toast stole my heart. And the service was 10/10. Will definitely be back!

Went here with my wife. The service was great. Our server was from South Africa. We loved her accent. My wife is from Egypt so that was dope. The food was amazing. Wife had the roasted vegetable hash, which she loved. I had the two eggs scrambled with chedder, toast with strawberry jam and their chicken apple sausage. Everything tasted so fresh and flavorful. We also had a order of pancakes. They come in 3 very fluffy pancakes. Like biscuits. Sruffed with blueberries. Topped with more blueberries, strawberries and fresh whipped cream. The pancakes sat on top of apricot syrup. Delicious. We also tried there juices. Glow and Sunrise you could taste the freshness. I would recommend this place to anyone who is in the mood to switch things up a bit. You won't regret it. They do get busy. So plan to get there early.

When I post a review I like to be really honest about the whole experience, so here’s my feelings about my visit… we arrived at the cafe and parked relatively close. Perhaps we were fortunate for the rainy day that parking was so easy I say this because the crowd to get in when we were leaving was relatively large. (Good sign)😉 I was a bit off put when we entered because the owner or manager was standing pretty much right in the entrance which made ambulating into the establishment a bit difficult since I have a disability and there was another couple trying to leave, he was too busy texting to realize he was blocking the path. The wait was not too bad, maybe 10 minutes. Our server came and offered the specials, we ordered the pulled pork Benedict and the fresh berry pancakes with poached apricots. Our drinks were fresh squeezed OJ and Bees Knees, both juices were so fresh and delicious. I’m not a big fan of pancakes but I had to try a bite because the person I learned about this cafe from told me they are a MUST HAVE! My pulled pork Benny was delicious! The coffee was great too! Everyone seated near us had amazing looking dishes as well! It seems everyone cleans their whole plate here, we did! We left full, but a good type of full, not yukky ate too much type of full but rather a comfortable “Oh my goodness that was fantastic type of full.” Another critique; the server comes with your bill, it’s not printed, the server announces your total (not a fan of this) but worse they stand over the next table waiting rather than setting the bill down and allowing you to get payment together, etc. this frustrated me because as the next table was getting their money together their server was basically standing over me while I was trying to eat my food. The food was really good so we will be back but hopefully the business will work out these small items I critiqued because although I understand the tight quarters I’m sure I’m not the only person who doesn’t care for someone hovering over me when they are eating. “Good Vibes Only”

Lovely cafe. Came here for breakfast on a Friday morning and it quickly filled up around 9am. The service was absolutely great; friendly and attentive staff. Coffee and food was solid. Would definitely return.
