    First off, i’m going to say that I’m not leaving this review because of the food, I love the food and it always come beautifully presented! I love their french onion soup in a bread bowl, highly recommended. However, I am sick and tired of two things, the first is the awful cashier who is always on their phone, rude, and making snarky remarks. She needs to be replaced because it is ridiculous how little she cares. Second is that anytime I order, there is ALWAYS one thing either missing or wrong with the food I receive. It also doesn’t seem to matter weather I order delivery or in person, and I’m willing to bet it’s because of the cashier half the time. Other wise the food here is delicious and I love the bread!

    This location is great, however there are better Panera locations out there. The food is always good, but sometimes the staff seem like they don't want to be there. I don't blame them, but it does put a little damper on your mood watching someone scroll mindlessly through their phone with a lackluster expression. The automated ordering system is great and allows you to order without waiting in line. This is great for quick self service orders like coffee and fountain drinks.

    Today I had the Smokehouse BBQ Chicken Sandwich with Creamy Tomato Soup in honor of my coworker Virgo Birthday. I must say that the Creamy Tomato Soup is the best I have ever had in my entire life. My Smokehouse BBQ Chicken Sandwich was tender and seasoned perfectly. You will see me again. Thank you.

    The manager here isn’t very friendly or accommodating. She wouldn’t let me purchase a French baguette even though I was staring at several full trays of them. I won’t be back here. I was sick with food poisoning and needed some bread to soothe my stomach. The lack of empathy for paying customers was a truly disappointing.

    This place is always covered with garbage on the floor. The staff is usually nice but today the woman at the register was very unfriendly. The receipt name listed is Tianna. Food is always to the Panera standards which is yummy but wish it wasn’t always an unpleasant experience to walk into.

    Panera Bread has always given me negative experiences since 2020. For our lunch break I decided to give it a try for my brother who is visiting. The woman who is in charge of packing the online orders had a terrible attitude with everyone. She handed my order and thankfully I searched through my bag to see I was missing his 3 cookies and I was still waiting for my drink. I showed her my ticket and told her I was missing those items. She handed my drink and then left. I thought she went to grab the cookies but she came back without them so I waited a few more minutes, thinking someone from the other side would hand them to her. I asked her again about the cookies and she told me to go to the front, where there was a long line to the door. Of course, once we got back to work my coworker was missing his brownie.

    How do you mess up an order when you repeat it 3 times to confirm the order. I spent $26.00 for 2 meals. Pick 2: first order was a turkey & cheese with No mayonnaise w/tomato soup. 2 mac and cheese with tomato soup The young lady confirms order no mayo and the repeated it again. I arrive home and what's on my sandwich freaking mayo. Wow a waste of money and my time.

    What has happened to this location? I stopped by just to order a grilled cheese...The cashier with a nasty attitude....OMG! First, if you are attending to customers lets start with putting your cell phone down and not texting and paying attention to your job. 2nd let's pull down your cheap tshirt because I'm sure customers do not want to see your belly showing. 3rd, how about not get annoyed with the customer because you don't have enough exact change. 4th, try not fooling the customer by short changing her thinking she wouldn't notice!!! And then when I bring it to the nasty cashier's attention she rolls her eyes at me! Honestly, this girl with straight dark hair, long tacky nails has no business working attending to customers. And I did bring this to the managers attention who was named Zen or Chen, not sure. Hopefully. he'll do something about it but I'm not so sure as it seems he's more their buddy than a manager. Maybe, that's the problem! The food is great, but upper management needs to take a look at their employees and how customers are being treated.

    Worst customer service. The cashier rung me up for the wrong salad. I didn't realize until it was ready and I saw what it was. I brought it to someone's attention and they refunded me the difference and told to cooks to make me the correct salad. After seeing people order after me and get their food before me, I went to the back and asked how much longer it was going to take, turns out they forgot to even make it.

    I order take outs for quick dinner. I don’t mind waiting but I get msg “food is ready’ when it is not ready. I ended up waiting for another 10min. You won’t get much attention from staff either when you’re waiting there for a while. Food is decent.

    My daughter and I went to the Panera here, but when we supposed to get her lemonade, a worker was taking the lemonade because the machine wasn’t working. And we were told that we had to wait in order to get the lemonade, so we wait, and wait, and wait. Until I asked, “how long we have to wait more?” And she said we had to wait, until she finished cleaning, and she left some of the lemonade so my daughter can take some, and the cup wasn’t even halfway!! So I asked, “I need more, I need to fill up my cup.” And then she said we have to wait again. (We waited like more than 10 minutes! She was taking her sweet time) Then, she started talking to another customer, and I said “really? Excuse me, I need my lemonade.” And she said again I have to wait, so I went to the front, and I asked the cashier, what can I do in order to get my lemonade. Because the lady was taking forever and was rude! And she said they couldn’t help me because the rude lady was the manager. So, just because IM SPANISH, THEY TREAT ME LIKE THAT? I have that treatment??? You have to do better Panera, and train your people, because customers are first. ALWAYS! And they have to be nice to the customers! Bad service, I AM DISAPPOINTED!

    I used to enjoy coming to this location but not any more. Went in late afternoon, even though it wasn’t busy the place was messy. The tea/coffee are was extremely messy and not stocked. The employees didn’t look you in the eye or even crack a smile when speaking to you. One of the employees was eating behind the counter while talking to customers. So sad how far they have come.

    An AWFUL CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE. I went there yesterday and ordered real roasted Turkey w/avocado, lettuce, tomato & mayo. I go to my vehicle to eat a little bit. To my dismay, there was not one piece of Turkey in my sandwich. I was not about to eat a vegetable sandwich. I’m glad I did not wait until I got home to eat. I went back into the store & told the cashier what transpired. She told me Turkey is on it without even checking the sandwich for herself! I opened it and asked where is it?!. She said she didn’t see the sandwich. She then proceeds to tell the crew to make another because there’s no Turkey in the sandwich. They make another one. In the meantime, I ask what can I have for this inconvenience in which she was supposed to offer, but did not. The cashier tells me I can have a pastry of which I found none appealing. I chose a choc chip cookie which wasn’t great.. The new sandwich has now been made. This one is more bulky. I go to the table to start eating to only find crumbs of Turkey pieces & a piece here and there. I’m still dissatisfied and tried not to go back to the counter, but I did. THIS IS A $14 sandwich. I ask for the manager in which I was already speaking to and she was the one who made the second sandwich. I explained the earlier situation& current situation. She said the Turkey portions are measured by company policy. I was LIVID! I don’t know if it’s that location or if PANERA’s cheating it’s customers. I had no choice but to eat it, because I was sick & hungry. I will not go to that location again. Also there was not one word of apology from the cashier NOR THE MANAGER!.

    You guys need to fix your UberEats because the drivers NEVER deliver the drink. Never literally never. I order from you guys almost every other week and I never receive a drink. Can you please fix this issue??? It is exhausting I just want to enjoy my food with a drink! Is that so hard to ask???

    It was my first time ordering here for delivery (using Panera app). I always had a great experience with rapid pickup and food quality at the Essex Green, West Orange branch, so I was expecting a hassle-free delivery experience. I specifically included a request on my order to put the chicken on the side for my salad. When it came, it was mixed in with the greens. And NO DRESSING was provided. Also, I wished they would check the tick box on the sticker label to indicate which sandwich is inside to avoid opening each one. Overall, it was a disappointing experience especially since I'd ordered from Panera many times before (rapid pick-up). I was planning to have a super simple birthday dinner tonight, but it didn't turn out well. Hope they do better next time.

    The food here is tasty, with quick service and decent portions. Great place to grab a spot and work while enjoying breakfast and lunch. The summer salad filled w fruit is one of our faves.

    I will give 1 star for the cashier name nubiyah. They need to replace her with a friendly cashier. She is so lazy to take some orders. Other than that order was fast and food is decent.

    Idk what has changed from a few months ago when I started ordering from here but now they're constantly messing up every order I make. Wrong orders, missing items. It was a great option for dinner between 11 hr work shifts but I'm never ordering from here again

    I live nearby. Been going there about a year. Cleanliness increasingly poor They have to be reminded about utensils. Salads now being sloppily prepared. The hot coffee is not hot momost of the time most of the time.

    This was once my favorite place to go for studying and eating, but now and for the past few summers, the people who come in now don't seem to be customers... more like unruly teens and homeless people. Stopped patronizing the place a few months ago. New, more seasoned management may be needed.

    Every time I go there, the dining room and bathroom are filthy. The soda machine is super sticky. The food is fine...but my feet are stepping in soda spills to get to it.

    I prefer this Panera over most because there's ample parking, staff is friendly, plenty of seating and we are always able to get what we want..other Panera locations often have issues with keeping certain dishes in stock. Very pleased with this location as always.
