I thought this stop would just have been an average coffee experience but oh boy this place is a slice of heaven! A bit pricey, but for a good reason! The coffee is enough reason to wait in line. The bread is warm and softer than a cloud. We indulged in a Nutella and a Strawberry donut 🍩 with an iced coffee (that comes with coffee ice cubes). A wonderful breakfast spot to catch up with old friends! ☀️

Deliciously moist baked goods. I had the tres leche and glazed donuts, as well as the blueberry and morning glory muffins; all yummy. The customer service was superb! There is limited parking available in the lot aside the bakery. Outdoor seating is also available. I will surely be back to try the infamous breakfast sandwiches. **the vegan sandwich is a waste of money. Just veggies (beets, carrot, hummus) on thick ciabatta bread; no protein for $7+

Some donut items not available (including classic glazed donut) and it's only 11 AM.. Donuts were surprisingly not very sweet, which I think is a plus. Definitely on the pricey side, but nice atmosphere. Edit, in response to owner: If freshness is the goal, it might be better to bake more continually throughout the day. The ones we had (black forest and apple cider) were both definitely baked many many hours ago (again, at 11 AM).

I’ve been going to this place for years and I love it!! The donuts are delicious! Everything else is amazing! The outdoors seating area is also very pleasant! I 100% recommend it! These are the last donuts we got a couple of days ago! :)

My husband and I visited here for the first time today and can’t recommend it enough! Brenden was very kind in helping us walk through our first visit! 10/10 recommend! 🙂

I was in the mood for something sweet and wanted to try this spot while in the area. When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked up to a cute outdoor seating bakery. I walked up and ordered the peanut butter donut with a very nice man. It came to about $4.25. I paid and left and when I got to my car I dug in and it was very tasty, messy but tasty. It was nice and thick and sweet. I enjoyed.

First and last.. the donuts were very hard, and dense, they tasted old. I spend over $38 for three donuts and a coffee cake 🍩 😩 😫, and three ☕️ ☕️ ☕️ and and grill cheese 🧀.. waste of my money..

The staff here were all very kind and patient with me and I took forever to order. Luckily it was kind of empty when I went but it soon filled it up very quickly. I got the bacon, egg, and cheese on a brioche bun and it came out amazing. The egg was fluffy and well seasoned. I used mozzarella cheese and that complemented everything beautifully. The space inside was a little small which could get crammed with people fast during the colder days but I imagine this place is amazing all the other seasons where you can sit outside. The donuts were all very rich and fluffy too.

This used to be a different cafe (Montclair Bread Co, I think)? Sandwiches used to be amazing. I didn’t have the donuts, though they look similar. The sandwiches were not edible to me. Chicken tarragon was dry and cloying - 50% walnut which is weird texture wise. French ham was not as bad, but was nothing like a usual French ham sandwich. Thick ham steak slices (like American ham steak). Baguette with was dry.

The juice ain’t worth the squeeze sadly. Paid $10 for 2 doughnuts which were dense and fairly stale (which is surprising since we ordered at noon). Super nice staff but genuinely not worth the price or the 20 minute wait.

Yummy donuts and wonderful staff and service at Rabble Rise Doughnuts. The flavors and use of sweet, sometimes salty, and savory makes each bite unique. The coconut, Boston creams, glazed are must too!

Best donuts my mother and I have ever had— and we’re from Boston. Everyone was super nice too.

What to say about this place? There it goes my diet. Never been there but my hubby brought me this delicious pumpkin muffin and a apple/pineapple I think danish to die for. Sooooooo delicious and fluffy and flavorful. Sorry for the pic with bites on every little pc but my son decided to taste them all since they looked very very good. Definitely will go by and order some more pastries..yummy!!

Great local donut shop. Staff is always super friendly and helpful. The donuts are huge and taste great. We love trying their seasonal flavors. They always so creative with their selection.

Loved the doughnuts and the coffee here, just missing chocolate milk. 😊 actually, that's an inside joke. Check out chocolate milk & donuts on Google if you're into VR, and don't forget to bring your pup here and grab a breakfast doughnut. We ordered 8 dozen assorted donuts for dessert at our wedding at 18Label and our guests LOVED them. While I ordered an assortment, I was especially keen on the Sourdoughnut because it was totally delicious and met the dietary needs of our Vegan/Vegetarian guests. My 4 y/o nephew was SO excited to get a chocolate frosted sourdoughnut all for himself. We ordered the maple frosted, Nutella, chocolate sourdoughnut and apple cider donuts for a November wedding. Bride and Groom’s favorite was the Nutella donut. We worked with Arpita and she was helpful, responsive and accommodating. TY Montclair Bread!

Previously Montclair Bread Company, Rabble Rise is always a required stop for me when passing through Jersey. I kid you not, I will literally get off the highway just to scoop up some donuty goodness. Even more excited with the new, New Paltz location as it makes stopping that much easier. By far my favorite donuts in the area.

This was my first visit to Montclair bread company! The doughnuts were good but a lot of the flavors I was looking forward too were already sold out. I would recommend going earlier than 12 to make sure you get your pick. The doughnuts we got were good, light and fluffy. My only note would be the speed of service, We waited in line for about 20 minutes and it took about 5-10 min for them to box up the doughnuts. Would visit again! Give it a try but make sure you've got some time to wait in line! EDIT IN RESPONSE TO OWNER! Your response to my feedback is undignified and unprofessional for a four star review. Consider being more receptive to constructive feedback. This visit was from a few months back, no where in my review did I say it was today. Additionally, yes this was the montclair location- it was previously Rabble! 🙂

Been coming here for years, and I absolutely love the donuts! The Nutella is one of my favorites, and I also love to try new things such as the s’mores and what was an amazing apple crumb! Real whip on top. I love the little details that really matters! If you haven’t been to this bakery, yet, you need to go, they also have sandwiches fresh baked bread, other things!

Just wow! The donuts were spectacular! Looking at the selection was so much fun and made deciding sort of difficult. I’m sure every donut tasted delicious. They even sold breakfast sandwiches and other pastries. The place was packed but the staff were quick and friendly. I got the pistachio cream filled donut, the apple cider donut, original glazed vanilla with sprinkles, and maple bacon donut!! All delicious

Tried out the doughnuts. Had my first “sour” doughnut…maple bourbon. Definitely can taste the sour dough. Didn’t really taste the maple. I preferred my cousins Apple cider doughnut. I had a bite of the maple bacon and it was tasty too but not real mapley.

I came here today to order half a dozen donuts for my coworkers and I. I hadn't been here in a few years due to an unfortunate situation I had gone through with them previously. I decided to give them another try and overall I wasn't disappointed that I did. Overall the donuts were super fresh and tasted delicious! My coworkers were all very happy and wanted to know where I purchased them from so they could go with their families. The only thing holding me back from giving them 5 stars is that the wait time was a little long. I previously read through another review that they should have a system in place for people who just want donuts and I agree. It would definitely help make things go a little faster. Overall though, I was happy with my order.
