Delicious vegan, gluten free food!! I would eat here everyday if I could! It is a small menu but it's good because they do the best at every dish. The pizza is delicious and there is definitely no skimping on toppings!

Disclaimer - I'm not a Montclair local. I HAVE been following the Good Plans Cafe instagram since they opened. On a daily basis, I have been tempted by photos of yumminess from Chef Mike and beautiful lattes and coffee drinks. It was ABSOLUTELY worth my trip. I ordered the matcha green tea latte, the black bean pasta with signature pesto sauce, vegan truffles, energi balls, and a Love brownie. AND a macchiato to go. And an order of the pasta w red sauce. Everything was so delicious and you can tell how much love and good intentions go into every item. I tried to order some desserts for the long drive back, but none of them survived ^_^ I will definitely come back another day. I need to try the pizza and the rest of the health drinks. I highly recommend Good Plans Cafe -- if you are vegan and want a cute spot to chill in, if you are not vegan and just enjoy super yummy food and coffee, if you're a Montclair local and want to try out a friendly and delicious cafe... you'll find something here!

Great atmosphere

While visiting my daughter Breona in Montclair she suggested “Good Plans Cafe” instead of the big store brand coffee place. I'm so glad we did. The owners where extremely friendly, very patient helping us with our drinks and everything was perfect. I had a iced mocha unsweetened with oatmeal milk, Amazing and my granddaughter Emma had a hot chocolate made with love. Really it said "love" right on top. There new coffee shop is full of warmth and very positive vibes. I would highly suggest making this a stop if you're in the neighborhood

I discovered this café on Instagram with all their mouth-watering shares! Today I stopped by for the first time. The baristas were SO nice explaining the menu and all the vegan options. I ended up getting a flat white, but everything sound good lol. The space is modern + homey and the coffee was perfect! I would definitely visit again

I ordered the vegan, gluten free, handmade pizza and it was beyond amazing!!😄They create the pizza dough by hand so it will definitely take awhile (maybe like 20mns if there are a lot of customers). They are not a fast-food restaurant as they are only a small cafe so we were very patient with our food😄AND, IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT!!! The dough was thin and soft, just the way we like it. It mainly has garlic, onions, mushrooms, cilantro and the owner/chef's in-house vegan/gf cashew cheese! Wow. Then, my boyfriend got the seasonal Coconut Thai Ramen with gf/vegan black bean pasta and coconut base soup. Wow 5 stars!!!!😄If you're in Montclair or in NJ, try this restaurant😄Plus, the walls/interior are so cute too!

Great gluten free drinks and food! Enjoy lots of cafe style drinks, hot cacao, and gluten free baked goods. Chill vibes and a large space in back to enjoy relaxing time, read, or study with WiFi!

My wife and I just picked up the pesto pizza and the burger and we are excited to say we have found one more fantastic take away vegan restaurant other than Veggie Heaven. We make our own vegan pizzas from scratch at home, and we gave this pizza a 10/10. The burger is packed with flavor, as are the sweet potatoe fries. Definitely going back. Well done to the owners and staff there! 🙌

Finally an all vegan cafe in the area. I was so thrilled to come across this business on instagram, check out their menu and staff info online. I was most interested in the pomegranate latte, it is the prettiest shade of pink and comes with a hibiscus flower. They also offer pizza and are very creative with their menu. The staff is very friendly, there is a back room for a more cozy feeling or can sit in the front for a true cafe feel. One of the owners painted the artwork on the walls herself, such beautiful detail the photos do not do them justice. Look forward to returning again soon.

Really yummy gluten free options. The salad on the menu is one of the most delicious I’ve ever eaten. The pizza is a great filling choice. Great iced coffee as well, a medium-dark roast.

This cafe is a true hidden gem that is so worth seeking out. Everyone who I met there couldn’t be kinder and the food that they prepare is just superb. I had a matcha latte and a brownie and both were so much better than I could ever expect. That is due both to the skill of people who prepare the food as well as top notch ingredients used. I can’t wait to go back to taste their savory menu next time :)

Good Plans Cafe is a GEM! Cute, hole in the wall cafe, felt very hip and vibrant! The food selection was very fresh and vibrant too. Healthy food presented with a modern twist or shall I say rather, classic foods recreated with ingredients you know will nourish you! Everything on the menu is amazing but here are my personal favorites: PESTO PIZZA - they also give you the option to add mushrooms if your feeling up to it! RAINBOW SALAD - Light, bright, full of life and very flavorful! LEMON POPPY AND CHOCO BANANA MUFFIN - Dessert anyone? Both are delish! My favorite drink is the Jagadisha Special which can be made iced or hot, whichever you like. The people at Good Plans Cafe are sincere and humble and you can feel their love and passion and creativity at this fresh cafe. Good music, good vibes, good food, good people, going to good plans is a good plan. Thank you for such a beautiful experience!

Everything here is amazing! The coconut ramen has such complex flavors to it and the golden latte is perfectly balanced. I can say with confidence that this is among the best vegan food I've tried in NJ. Come and enjoy healthy plant-based vegan food, nothing here tastes artificial.

Lovely, cozy place in the heart of downtown Montclair! ]The vegetarian cuisine was a delight! One of our teachers booked the venue for her private Birthday party from 7:00 PM - 9:30 PM. Free parking in the area after 7:00PM. Family run business. Very polite & courteous staff. The owner, Sarah, did the breathtaking original, oriental art work on the walls of the private room for dining. Her husband is the chef. Her brother is at the welcoming spirit at the reception desk in the front. Good Plans is a great plan for your evening out or a celebration in Montclair! Highly recommend this location! We will be back again! Bravo! 5 stars in my opinion! Loved it! 😀❤

How else can I say that they’re perfect? They go above and beyond!! Everything gf, vegan is delicious, creative, and full of quality. Will always and forever get the pesto pizza. They will accommodate your individual needs when able to/with time to plan. Truly the kindest people. I bought their prepared gf pizza dough (because it’s delish and cooks easily!) on its own to make pizza at home/when not near Good Plans. Cannot recommend them enough. Thank you guys!
