Get there early for better parking. Heads up: $30 parking. Drink lines were slow. Go to up stairs concessions for faster service. Great sound and beautiful setting. We saw Tim Misch 4/1/22

Place is beautiful but i had second row seats and most of my view was of a stucco wall. I get that the building was designed in 1920 but someone thought it would be a good idea to add extra seats to get more people in/more money even if they only can see a 1/3 of the stage??? Highly disappointed... what the show was supposed to look like to what i paid to sit for 3 hours to look at... i could of sat in a chair in my backyard if i wanted to look at stucco

Beautiful venue! Located right next to Griffith, it's open air with gorgeous nature visible from the seats. The staff were all very friendly for the show we went to and it was easy to find our way around, including to our seats. We enjoyed our time here so much, we looked at the future events hoping to come back again!

Beautiful, clean, sufficiently staffed. Bathroom access is plentiful, although they have the temperate zone of a dungeon. Cocktail bars are separate from concessions, which also sell beer and wine. Food is expensive and not the best (prepped before events), so I recommend bringing your own food (or drink) and getting there early to consume it in the park right outside the venue. You'll also find a few Mexican hot dog stands waiting patiently for hungry patrons just a few hundred feet from the gates. They have a separate pretzel stand located within the gates of the venue but not in the main structure. Highly recommend with mustard (don't pay the $3 for the 2oz of gross cheese; do it right, people!). Parking is tiered and limited, with more expensive being closer up the hills. The shuttle service was $10 for my event and parking is located at the Pony Rides at the base of the hills when you first enter Griffith Park grounds. The shuttles are plentiful and top quality, make sure you plan an additional 15-20 minutes getting to and leaving the venue if you go with this service.

Beautiful venue and the traffic is well organized which is surprising for the location. Quick Park is actually two rows of vertical parking in the middle of the street in front of The Greek Theater. It was $75 when I purchased it in advance. Although it is stacked parking, you can easily get out from the side.

Been wanting to come here for years and finally got around to it - definitely lived up to the hype! Like a cozier, more intimate Hollywood Bowl, so well organized that it doesn't seem like there's a bad seat in the house! Booths, seating, and parking(!) were all pretty simple to access, and I don't know if this was just luck but from getting in the car to hitting the road, exiting took about 10 minutes. Whaaaaaat???

Parking is always a pain so I suggest you pre-pay for parking online. Also, there is a secret back gate I always use so we walked in and got through security in less than 2 minutes. We saw Ringo Start and his All-Star Band and it was a great show full of recognizable hits! If you find my review helpful - please give it a thumbs up and don’t forget to like my pics and follow me for more reviews of my LA adventures!

Great place to see a concert. The sound is awesome! And the place is very clean. The band's loved playing here. It's similar to Red Rocks.

Great venue. Lots of amenities. Good sound (could be louder) but there really isn't a bad seat in the house. Parking was fairly easy and leaving was not difficult. Gotta love Hollywood!

I loved the Greek Theatre. We arrived about 45 minutes prior to the concert and were able to park close. I was impressed with the parking staff and their efficiency. The food inside was good. I have been to a decent amount of concerts and felt that the Greek Theatre was the best venue.

I haven't say in every section but I'd have a hard time imagining a bad seat in this venue. Parking can be a bother or expensive but it's a truly lovely spot in magical Griffith Park and a wonderful place to see a show. If you're visiting LA it really should be on your list of places to go. Blow off sunset Blvd and the walk of fame and come see a show at the Greek.

The Greek Theatre was an incredible experience. We got an uber up the road to watch Greta Van Fleet on a warm fall evening and after the show walked down the long winding road with a joyful crowd of others to the local chevron for snacks and drinks. This place is beautiful and a must go for shows!

We really enjoyed the show at the Greek Theatre. There was a lot of traffic coming in so we were worried about parking, however there was plenty of nearby parking which was not too expensive. The facility itself was very nice - the acoustics were great and it was a nice ambiance how the amphitheater is part-way set into the side of a big hill. Would definitely come back here for a show if we are in the LA area again.

Me and a friend saw Puscifer there. Had great seats and enjoyed the venue. During a break, the lower booths for alcohol had very long lines. Upstairs much shorter lines. Showed up close to showtime but parking seemed plentiful though expensive. Worth the trip.

The Greek theater is a lovely outdoor amphitheater. My complaint about it this time is, the sound quality was not great from the terrace seating. The speakers all pointed to the front so, we got a muffled version of the concert on the north terrace side. I would not recommend buying your seats there. The last time I sat here it wasn't this bad so I'm not sure if it was this particular acoustic setup or what. Can't enjoy the whole show from terrace either. We were only able to see the front row singers and the screen to the south. The concert was fun, although I think I was just at the cusp of this era where, the songs were not as nostalgic for me since I was too young to enjoy them still. I was able to bring my own food and water so that was a plus. I also rode the shuttle instead of parking tandem. This would have been better if the shuttles were ready to depart at the end. We had to wait for a little while. Would totally do this again though. $30 for Theater stacked parking vs $10 shuttle in a lot that isn't packed and stacked.

A wonderful and historic venue that is a great landmark to visit in Los Angeles. Located within Griffith Park, the Greek Theatre is an awesome place to watch artists perfom and be under the stars. Overall, I have always enjoyed going to the Greek and like the staff, as they are all friendly and courteous whenever I interact with them. Definitely recommend to visit. Please note: parking rates vary and traffic can be busy at times- so plan accordingly on how to get there and how to leave.

Parking is free on the parking.lot around the Greek theater. As of January 2022; day time. The theater itself was closed when we walked by in January 2022. However, it was fun to see the lineup of artists for 2022 on the LED marketing panel. For example, Alicia Keys is a performer giving a show in May 2022. There is hope that in person performances will indeed happen in 2022; depending on the status of the COVID-19 pandemic of course.. The bus stop for the Dash bus from and to Griffith Observatory it’s just in front of the theater. The bus seems to be in demand even with the COVID-19 pandemic still raging on As of January 2022.

We love this theatre, but after the concert the parking is grid locked because there's no traffic controllers. It took us about 30 minutes just to exit the grassy & dirt lot. Management needs to learn how to handle ease for patrons to exit their parking lots. Lewis Capaldi is the funniest singer and songwriter! We enjoyed his live concert and the crowds.

Lovely atmosphere! Truly a great place to watch your favorite artist and not have to deal with crowds or chaos. Recommend to park in the Mercedes Benz parking and pick up a drink in the star lounge. Taking away a star for the lack of food quality. It looked very delicious but the basics of fries was a challenge for the Greek theater. Other wise I’m coming back and bringing my family.

Excellent venue. We were seated at the back but still had an excellent view of the stage. The sound was great and the seats were comfy. Not a knock on the venue but parking sucks. Anytime you’re in stacked parking it is not ideal. We parked at the venue itself. It was 30 dollars but it was pretty easy to get in and out which was nice.

We've gone here many times. The sound always is good. The crowds are okay and the venue staff is friendly. The views from most seats are good. We always have the cheep side seats and you can see the stage well. We like to pay for the Lot G parking, easy in and out. Restrooms were clean and easy to get in and out of. We've never gotten the food but I wish the drinks were a better variety and such. The last time I got a coffee and it was just okay.

One of the best venues to see and enjoy any event. Was there for the Lost 80's and it was sooooo much fun. Just a heads up, was seated at the South Terrace, and it occasionally "swayed", it's not an earthquake, just the good vibrations of everyone having a great time πŸ˜‰

Fantastic outdoor venue. Highly recommend this as a place to listen to your favorite bands/musicians. The space feels very open and the sound quality is great. Drinks and food are sold. Perfect spot for a summer concert. Definitely would go back in the future

One of the best outdoor concert venues in LA. The venue is small enough to make every good a good seat. The food and drinks are pricey but Griffith Park is within walking distance, so we usually take a picnic and eat (and drink) there. You can't take any picnic stuff inside the theater, so use disposable (& biodegradable) stuff and you're set.

I saw Jimmy Eat world. So tragic the sound was muffled. Lovely weather! And then I saw the love of my life, Tori Amos (and the band!) and the Greek is a magical night under the stars. I can admit I cried. Who didn’t? Drinks and food are expensive so figure it out. Think $15-$20 a drink and $20 a meal. Get a street dog? Pack some pocket hummus? One of the best outdoor music venues in Los Angeles. Plan a trip here around the Greek! If you get there early, enjoy wandering around to the bars, restrooms (a plenty), food vendors and taking in nature, sunshine and the shift to a headlining night of music. I recommend driving and the taking the shuttle. It will be a night to remember, don’t get too drunk!

Our first time having box suite seats 10/12/21 and it was the best experience for one of our favorite country artists, Brothers Osborne. The servers were very attentive and food and drinks were as expected for a concert. The Greek Theatre is iconic and with all the concerts we've been to, it's got to be one of our favorite venues. The employees did their very best to keep us all safe and well despite the pandemic.

My first time going to the Greek. Went to see Elvis Costello, and it was great! If you are curious about the view from... not the most expensive seats - the view in the pics is from next to last row, section B, left center - so not a bad view at all! (FYI - I didn't see any bench seating, it all looks like it is individual seats, with a little cup holder off of the back of the seat in front of you) Parking is in dirt lots for $30 (plus other options) The show I saw started right on time (7:30) w/Nick Lowe & los Straightjackets, and ended with EC after 10:30 - a fantastic evening!

I went for Orville Peck's Rodeo and I loved this venue! Parking, though tricky, is a little better than other venues. The seats are great, even towards the back we could see the stage. A pretty venue with lots of space. Open air made us feel very safe despite how many people weren't masking.

Getting to the Greek Theater is just awful. There is a lot of traffic and once you get near it you will be in grid lock. When you make it, you may be able to find a place to park, maybe not (buy in advance) and regardless you will likely be parked in uneven dirt or mud, depending on how the passed weeks weather was and then comes the 1/4 mile or more walk up a grade. If you are disabled this really is bad. They need to get it together. They have very few handicapped spots and even then they assume that all disabled people are in wheel chairs with a way to get up the grade. For those with other disabilities, it is really bad. Once you are there, at the gate, it is wonderful. You may be tired, but there are places to sit before you walk into the outdoor theater. The staff is so very nice and super helpful. They will direct you to your seats or to the food area. The food is much better than many other venues. They have the typical junk food, but also some really good items, even a vegan can find something they can eat. They have a full bar. The seats are very good, not as in comfort, they are small and plastic, but in location. There are bad seats, if you go all the way to the left or right of the stage or all the way back, but the first 25 rows are very nice and you will be able to see the person on the stage. The prices for tickets are reasonable. The sound is very good. You can hear well and there is not that horrid echo or grind you hear at some other venues. Their sound system is one of the main reasons to go there. All in all it is a great place to see someone you adore. I go often, but getting up there makes me want to scream. But once there we are happy.

Lovely venue. The outdoor hangout space is nice. And they have Mercedes-Benz branding everywhere, which makes those of us who drive a Benz feel superior, and those who don't inadequate 🀣🀣 JK but low key that's kinda true!

I have had a vendetta against the theater ever since they made me throw my unopened skittles away as a fifth grader watching Avril Lavigne, but I’m since forgiven them. As of this year, I saw Fleet Foxes and the Goo Goo Dolls, and have enjoyed the open air theater. They do have food available for purchase as well as alcohol. Bring a jacket as it does get chilly at night. The lodge seats aren’t really worth it, I would start at C if you’re being budget-conscious. Restrooms are available on the left hand side of the stage if you’re facing it and they do have a water dispenser. Paid parking - you can pay in advance when you buy your ticket or you can park about a mile away on a Main Street and walk. Residential parking gets a bit dicey so read the signs carefully.

The Greek Theatre is an iconic venue in Southern California. There are no "bad" seats. If you have money to burn, you can have drinks and dinner in the front row! The sound and views are excellent. A great selection of beer and food can be found around the venue, expect to pay typical prices. Not to be crass, but there are more restroom facilities than you might think. There is off location parking with free shuttle service to make the commute easier. The Greek is a great place to see your favorite performers.

This venue is amazing! First time here the other night and has instantly became my favorite! Parking is easy but kinda pricey at $30. It's a short walk from the lot to the entrance. Have drinks and a variety of food. Never really had to stand in line for too long as there are many locations to order the same things. Merch line was quick and easy as well. It is also easy to find your seats as they have it all numbered. The seats aren't too bad for an outside venue. The sound was good and you could see the stars above you. There are also 2 screens on each side of the stage so it's a good view anywhere. The "nosebleeds" aren't really that far from the stage so it's not terrible either. Restrooms are clean and it seems to go on forever so there was never a line! Stalls even had cupholders! Would definitely recommend this venue and especially for summer shows!

My favorite LA venue! Saw my first concert here in 1981 (Adam and the Ants!) and have been attending shows here regularly ever since. Great acoustics, staff, parking, merch tables and amenities. The full package. Love The Greek!!

Came here to see Lewis Capaldi, and it was an amazing concert. I do advise you to bring a jacket and something warm because at night it gets cold. Get there early to get parking that is good or you will be stuck in traffic after the concert. Other than that, have a good time.

Absolutely great venue! Got to go see my first concert which just so happened to he my favorite band! Such an amazing experience and wonderful setting. I never thought I would get to see Twenty One Pilots live. Thank you for the takeover tour if you see this. ||-//

The show was great as was the sound quality. We had what would be considered "better seats", but there really isn't a bad seat in the place. Ringo and his All Star Band was fun! If you're on the shorter stature side like me, 5', I would recommend an aisle seat. As folks stood (myself incuded) it was difficult to see the stage over others heads. I have given 4β˜† due to being told we couldn't bring in our backpack, it had our sweaters and bottles of water. Hubs had to turn around and go back to the car while I waited for him inside the gate. Just before he returned another person came through with a backpack that they let in after they opened it and looked through. If there's a rule, it's a rule for all. I did inquire with the head of security about the inconsistency and was told if he'd been called over he would have let us through as he did the others. So..... if you're told no backpack ask for someone higher up to go through it.

Great venue. A smaller version of the Hollywood Bowl and equally amazing. We recently saw Tori Amos who was mind blowing. Tip: We parked on the street for free on Hillhurst and walked all the way up and back, very nice stroll and highly recommended if you don’t want to pay for parking or get stuck in the event traffic.

I haven't been to the Greek since the late 90's for my first ever concert. So it was nice to relive some old memories and make some new ones. It's a lot smaller than I remember but that's not a bad thing. But I'd definitely and will come back again.

First visit and love it. Great acoustics and site lines everywhere in the theater. It's nice to be at an amphitheatre in the summer and not sweat profusely. We will be back! Parked in the remote lot with shuttle busses to the theater worked flawlessly!

Went for the fantastic Thundercat concert. Sat mid-audience. Comfortable seats. Super nice parking people, staff, etc. Great view from anywhere and great acoustics. Just be patient driving in and considerate of others. You'll get there.
