On November 25, 2022 I had my c-section done at the GWEST surgery centre, although I went in to book my appointment last minute they were very accommodating. I was able to get a walk through of the facilities before hand and the rooms were very clean. I also appreciated the fact that they had an actual bed that my husband could sleep in and not just a couch. The facility was overall very clean and I would recommend it to anyone. Finally the nurses and staff were very nice and accommodating and always there to help me when I needed them. The overall experience was excellent and I would definitely go back there if I ever have to again.

Honestly the wait time to see a doctor is unacceptable for a private institution. We choose to use this service as it should be more convenient, reliable and there must be something to differentiate. If I wanted to wait 2 plus hours to be seen I would have to Regional. Please do better having 1 GP on intake is crazy when you have 6-8 patients waiting.

The front dest Receptionist is so sweet, she is short and has in boho locks .. The service is beyond great. Her personality and service is Top Notch. Went there a few weeks ago and the nurse was amazing, Miss Golding is really *GOLDEN* she build a bond and made me feel comfortable with sharing my issue, she even made reference with her boyfriend and the same issue I had. Loved it ☺️ Went there over 4 times and had only one bad experience with a doctor. Besides that all is great 😃👍

Sitting in the premier shopping center in fairview and tourism meca of Montgo Bay GWest medical facilities are your one stop shop for a lot of medical emergencies. Don't worry about going there to see a doctor and having to leave to go somewhere to find a pharmacy after the doctor prescribed medication there's a pharmacy on site. Here are some photos of the building and services they offer. Don't worry About having to climb stairs there's a transparent elevator as you enter the building. I say transparent because while you're on the elevator going up or coming down your see the outside as you move.

My sick sister was ask to buy a mask before she could get help in March 7, 2023 why isn't masks provided to patients? We had no Jamaican money and the amount is too little to use card. We had to leave to get money to buy the mask. This policy is ridiculous. Do like other countries provide masks for patients. The receptionist needs to be trained in customer service. She is crast you cannot be working with sick people and have no empathy. Remember she is the first point for the organisation she represents the company.

The Urgent Care is very clean and Dr. Carol Thompson-Forbes was extremely professional.

The environment is very professional and friendly especially the pediatrician Dr Byfield he's was very patient and thorough with his information.

GWest Medical houses an assortment of medical services. I like the locality because it is easier and quicker to access than other places that offer the same services downtown Mobay. Getting a drive to and from the area is quick and reasonably priced. I also felt safe in that vicinity. While there I visited Radiology West. The service was professional and courteous also, I was processed in a timely manner. I would definitely revisit them.

I was shocked at the difference between microlabs in town and the same microlabs establishment at G-west. Downtown, the place is crowded, dirty, and the staff very unfriendly and rude. Here, you enter paradise. The cashier smiles and makes small talk, asks about health cards which at the other one cannot be used, all in a welcoming environment. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. All the personnel was friendly and professional, the place was clean and healthy. I will never go back to the other one!

Customer Service is great! But I like when a doctor is UNDERSTANDING and don't try to be hard.. Things happen, and I explained my situation openly to the doctor and she still refused to help me with what I asked for. But it's funny how when I spoke with another doctor from Gwest she was able to help me. Smh

All of the offices I've visited are very clean which is expected of a medical facility. Each office has varying levels of fair to fine to good to excellent customer service via telephone or face to face. Worth what you spend.

It's hard to find the area where you need to be. Not all the sites are on the directory. You have to be calling the facility to find out which unit exactly they are located. Signs are not visible and how the place set up is just pure confusion 😔

I understand the need to rotate doctors but some of the doctors aren’t as good or professional.

I came to see the doctor there and they gave me medication that greatly affected my baby. When I take the baby back there they are telling me I have to pay 7500 or wait until Monday to see the doctor that provide me with Codeine medication. Several researches has shown that breastfeeding mother should not take Codeine because of the side effects.

I went there with my son ask if there was someone that could stitch his cut the lady at the fornt said yes ok i said i want it done paid 7k think it was the cost went to see the doctor for her to tell me i most go back to the front desk to pay 10k more for stitches i said to them at that point that i thougth i had done that already however i went and paid it after everthing was done and we ready to leave the lady at the front desk said i have to pay 10,800 more for dressing they took my money in a fahsion as if it was a scam

I would believe that in 2023 one would know to train their staff in Customer Service especially if placing them in front desk. They are the first point of contact. Front desk staff needs training, they are very rude and unprofessional.
