Immediately NO. Don’t even bother. The view yes, it’s beautiful but everything else, ZEROOOO. It’s completely run down and needs major renovations. Absolutely nothing is clean or maintained. NOTHING !! Even the supposedly clean towels had hair in them. The whole place smelled musty, old and moist. Half of the time I wanted to throw up. The smell is really really bad. Like it hadn’t been aired out in forever. NO! Old and worn out everything, from curtains to chairs to paint. Everything! Only thing I like in there was the fridge. That’s it. Would not recommend. I couldn’t even sleep on the bed without laying something on it cause it smelled so bad and was visibly dirty. Zero star.

I booked a reservation for a place on the 7th floor. The place was run down, dirty, and smelled funny. The patio doors were broken, they were able to open but weren’t able to close. The curtain covering the patio doors were dirty. I immediately told the owner I want a refund. Honestly I spend 7 minutes in this place. Got my refund and went someplace else. Don’t ever go here. Not to mention the customer service was funny. That’s the best word to describe it. They weren’t rude at all. Just funny.

If I could have given this place a zero I sure would. This is not a resort, well maybe 6 years ago when we visited but not now for sure. The smell alone is a turn off and the stove in the kitchenette is rusted, they said they cleaned but the sheets and curtains were dirty in both units they showed to us. I would recommend they do a complete renovation of the property and get new staff , people that actually wants to work and will get the job done properly. We are still waiting on the accountant to get back to us about our refund.

booked this place & the air conditioning has been down for over 2 weeks. the building is extremely old and ran down and no one seems to care about the comfort of guests 🤷🏽‍♀️. if i could give this place zero stars i would, it needs to be shut down & replaced by better people. don’t book 🙄

The outside isn’t too appealing, but the inside isn’t that bad. Rooms have great views of the ocean!!!

As has been written here already, it's important to do your homework here. We rented from Karl Lawrence and the accommodation fit our needs just fine. You can probably find newer apartments in MoBay but the pluses for us were location (with an amazing view), access to town, Doctors Cave, etc. The only thing we had a little problem with was the A/C went out for a brief period on two separate occaissions. This could happen anywhere of course and Karl is always around to help. Just a quick call or text and he responded quickly.

Horrible , tiles cracked I could have fell thru the next floor , & they stole my money !!!! DO NOT BOOK !!!!

Had a power outage when I got here came back up... aC needs servicing in the condo and seems like the pool does too and general surrounding

Was difficult to find at first because the entrance is the same for El Greco resort on Queen's Drive. You can take the eleevator straight down to Gloucester Avenue and that's directly in front if Doctor's cave beach. Great location, but needs renovations.

The overall customer experience is poor starting with the receptionist at the front desk who does not know how to properly address customers. I seriously would not recommend this resort. It's a damp shame.

I booked a place for the night through airbnb. Nice place with an condition, 24 hour security and a pool. Really enjoyed my stay. Very very quiet.

The accommodations are suitable for what you pay for them. It is clean and the AC is ok. The pool looked dirty and only had a few chairs, but you're right across the street from the beach. Arriving is a little confusing as the address listed for the place is different than the one you use to park. It is very loud. You hear all of the traffic from the road below - cars, people, music, etc.

There are major pros and cons about our stay at Montego Bay Club. Let’s go over the cons Cons: The apartments are extremely dated and needs to be renovated in order to attract more guest. The building itself looks depressing and uninviting. Our room was not particularly clean as you would get from a chained resort. Pros: They have security 24 hours!!! (Major Pro) Our particular room was the Ocean view room which was amazing to walk into and hang out on the balcony. The A/C was a stand alone unit and kept the room very comfortable. Our shower water ran hot all throughout our days and maintained a good temperature. The location is the seller for the establishment. The beach is directly across the street with activities for all. Jet skies, snorkeling, etc.. with all local restaurants and shops all walking distance from Montego Bay club. Margaritaville,Tracks and records (Usian Bolts restaurant) are right up the street. Before booking I would double check to see if your unit has a stand alone A/C which would better accommodate your room instead of the central A/C that was down for some guests that were staying. Lastly the staff at the front desk were accommodating and welcoming.
